ATT has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I thought Bellsouth was bad, but ATT is much worse. I had a simple issue with my DSL line and it took them 3 weeks to get a the right technician out to fix it. I promtly cancelled my service. I gave them one more shot to redeem themselves, and the same thing happened when I started new service. I highly recommend you find an alternate carrier, or pray you don't have any technical issues

At& T has the most horrible customer service I've ever seen. To describe what they have put me through for the past 1 1/2 months would take 100 pages of writing. Lets just say that I was on w/ their tech support people for 8 1/2 hours last Friday, of course not resolving anything. Their staff are not trained, rude and have very little knowledge of their products and services. They outwardly lie and just don't care. The next day I spent 1 1/2 hour w/ a customer service rep who insisted that my email address (also w/ ATT) did not exist. I couldn't make her understand that I've been using that address for over 2 years. Waiting on hold is forever. Just horrendous. The best was the little scam they pulled (I'm sure company wide) last year. Last Feb 2008, we received a letter stating that AT&T upgraded from analog to digital and we would have to bring in our cell phones for a straight exchange. I had been out of contract w/ them for 7 years. What we discovered 6 months later was that they put us on a 2 yr contract w.out our knowledge or permission. when I questioned this, they told me that just be using the phone constitutes acceptance of the contract. What bullshit, and certainly not true. Stay away from them at all costs.

I have complains with ATT service after breaking my cell phone they charged me $250 for a new phone since I do not had insurance only two years contract with them. For their new customers they get the Sony Ericsson phone for free or you pay $25 so i purchased insurance for $3.25 a month so next time I need to replace my phone i have insurance. 28 days after I got my new phone a black mark appeared on the screen, so i was really glad to have my insurance cover the new phone I need to get. Surprise surprise...by the way you have a deductible on the new phone! WHAT??? yes, I had to pay $50 for the new phone which cost only $25 or free for new customers. And again my phone making problems after a short use and guess what??...I am going to need a new phone which will cost me another $50. ATT service is very disappointing, please do yourself a favor and shop around. Have a nice day.

I don't have any complaints with AT&T service. It just that I need to know why they don't have any Dick Tracy wris watch cellphones here in the USA. They're cool as hell. I know for a fact that if they would put one on the market, consumers will buy. There's no doubt. Nextel, AT&T, or Verizon needs this. I am an AT&T customer. But if any of these other wireless cellphone giants gets a wrist watch cellphone, then it's goodbye AT&T and hello Verizon, or Nextel And hell, I don't even like Nextel.

AT&T's Customer service is very very bad. One just hanged up on me for complaining about another representative. Another didn't speak with politeness at all. The only semi-helpful was the online, which wasn't that helpful, but was able to explain some problems on our order. Thank you AT&T we will never call back to you again. :)
hamsa 12/16/2008
Very bad service. It has been hard to refrain from ***** words. They charge you months after you terminate service. They put you over to a collections agency who has no clue why you need to pay the amount. Then they ask you to dispute the charge. Trust me, all you get is hassled. They scare you with the charge of your credit history being affected. Record all their calls when they say "no more charges". Ask them to give it in writing. Never settle otherwise

1, AT &T is using an obvious routine SCAM to overbill by double talking and putting you into collectons when you cancell your cell phone service. They should be Sued in a Class Action Lawsuit at least in Oregon where I live. If you want to join me, lauralight1972@yahoo.com

at&t has bad service. Took almost two weeks to move service from one address to another address. I had good speed at the previous but here the speed was slow. I want to up grade to another service and it has been a week and no new service.

This is my first review for any sevice ever. I was literally forced into doing this, after I went into the AT&T wireless store today for the 15th time in less than 3 months, each time for the same reason. These people are terrible, in all my years of experience, this has to be the company with the worst employees ever. They simply do not care about their customers! I made an unfortunate decision back 3 months ago to take a DSL connection from these guys, after one of them highly recommended it to me (thankfully I had the sense to not cancel my old net connection, its still going strong). I was also asked to pay a deposit in cash. Well, the payment went through just fine, and I was asked to wait until the end of the month for dsl activation. That did not happen, this is where the problem began, I had to keep calling their customer service line (which by the way is operative only between 9-5 on weekdays), stay on the line for a half hour, until some guy finally answers and tells me that my payment never went through! I went back into the store, and this is what annoyed me the most, the people there make phone calls right in front of you to their own customer service or some manager or the other and invariably each time, something goes wrong and I am either asked to come back in again the next day or else call the customer service number myself at a later time . This continued for more than a month, until I finally decided to cancel the "service" upon which I received frantic phone calls from the "Managers" who assured me that my service would be activated and that they would get back to me to check whether everything was fine with the dsl. 2 months later, I still have no active AT&T connection, neither have the managers or any other employee ever bothered to get back to me. By this time, I really couldnt care less about their internet, because my old service works superbly, all I wanted was my deposit back.
I went into the shop, the guys there said they cannot hand in personal checks to me, I woud have to call the customer service guys to mail me the check, I call the customer service and they say they have no record of me since my net connection was simply never activated! So no internet and a cash deposit that simply seemed to have vanished into thin air! I went back into the store and they gave me the usual yes-we-are-calling-the-customer-service-guys-right-now routine only to say that they cannot tell me anything right now, and come back into the store later. I lost my temper and began yelling and surprise, surprise! they actually tried to help me out! To my great shock, turns out that 2 months after cancelling my service, all of my yelling had managed to get me one thing - an official request for a refund of my deposit!!!
AT&T has great commecials on TV, clearly appearances can be extremely deceiving!

My experiences with AT&T have not been good. I use AT&T for my high-speed DSL plus my home phone, and my upload/download speeds for my internet are incredibly slow. Now, I would have felt better if they told me that there is nothing they could do and about internet speeds and stop charging me for prices of of a high-speed connection, but they tell me that everything is fine, and do not acknowledge any problems on their end (my upload/download speed used to be good before AT&T bought out SBC). About a year ago, I had also purchased an additional phone line to my house. Being that AT&T is my phone service provider, I had to get it through them. Now, instead of giving me a new phone line like I had paid for, they simply gave me an additional phone number to use on the same line. A few months later, an IT friend was over to look at that (had problems with "second" phone line, and said they I only have one phone line for the house. I later called AT&T, and they confirmed that I had been paying for two phone lines yet only had one, and the second one was never implemented. They finally did put in the second phone line, but never offered any money back or months free for paying for a second phone line for several months even though we didn't have one. If you have secondary providers for phone, cable, and internet in your area, I strongly advise using other providers.

I have read all kinds of complaints how horrible service AT&T gives. { I know this category is long distance carrier}Try working for them. they treat their employees like crap. Hire people who now think they have a job only to find out they have to do a lay off with no warning now these employees are brought into an office thinking they have a job only to say "you are done as of today" and only offer two weeks severence. no wonder employees have bad attitudes. they are always in danger of being let go with no sorry what so ever. I had a close relative who worked for this lousy company with the promise that this job would last for at least a few years.he worked in the passport division. only to be told we may not be renewing the contract so bye. Not sure if this is true or a lie on At&ts part. AT&T seems to be good at lying to their employees. no matter how good of job they do for this ungrateful company. this relative of mine worked his ass off for them and always got excellent review. he dealt with upset customers who did not get their passports. he was always courteous to them and could calm them down. to the point this customer would ask if they could have him again. but just like that they tell him and a bunch of other At&t employees we are laying you off permantly bye! a lousy place to work. they lie to their employees with a shrug of a shoulder. Do NOT work for these crooks, they will hire you with the promise of a job only to let you go no warning. no wonder I see so many lousy reviews. they are a lousy company period. I would love to see AT&T go under. they are a terrible company all around. just so you know they are also terrible to their employees. even the excellent ones who gave them their best to treated like crap. P.S. that employee was my husband. they claim that they did not renew the contract for the passport devision yet others are saying this is a lie. Stay away from At&t is all I can say they advertise that they are hiring with the promise of a "great opportunity" career. do not buy it. chances are they have no intention of keeping you.sorry if this sounds bitter. but my spouse gave everything to them and look what it got us.!

I recieved a phone call from an At&T rep saying that I was eligible for 4 free cell phones so I asked about the details and the plan was actually cheaper than what I had with Nextel, so I decided to get 3 of the 4 cell phones. The rep waived all the shipping charges told me there was a 2 year contract, etc. I was fine with all of that so in the end I asked him when I should recieve the phones he told me 4-5 business days. I said OK. Well day 7 gets here and still no phones, so I decided to call ATT to find out where my phones were. The rep that I spoke to told me they were still pending to be shipped out. Because I didnt talk to the original guy that called me I had to call ATT, this rep that I spoke to he cancelled the order and tried to re-enter the order so he could make commissions on it. So finally I am told that I should recieve them within 3 days. SO I wait. 5 days gets here and no phones so I call back the original guy I spoke to and he tells me that the order was cancelled. WHAT!? I never cancelled anything..so he talks to his supervisor and then I try to find out what is going on, but in the end now I am not eligible for ANY cell phones. RIDICULOUS!!!....I also ordered high speed internet and still haven't recieved my box for DSL because the same guy that cancelled my cell phones cancelled my DSL...I am still waiting and it has been almost a month....I do not like ATT at all, they try to steal your money, and make you wait. Who wants to pay $750 a cell phone for a deposit? NOT ME!!!! All of them are rude and after you have been waiting on the phone for 20 minutes youre kinda of irritated, they dont care they have bad attitudes all day long!!!
giorueda 11/15/2008
Att is a bad company, i connect the internet, and phone and they tell me my bill will be $99.99 and for the next 3 moths i pay $299.99, please BECAREFULL!!!!!,record any conversation with this company before contract any service, they are big vampires and the what your $$$$$$, ask a lot a questions about your bill before contract this people.
sher1224 11/13/2008
The WORST company to do business with but I guess it just speaks to the world that we live in... big corporations focused on only one thing $$$$$ and the little guy is just not important enough. What a sad 21st century this is going to be!!!!

Horrible Horrible Horrible!!! That is the only way I can describe them. They don't even deserve 1 star. I have been billed for other people tapping into their phone line and they wanted to charge me $80 to come out to fix THEIR line. I signed up for bundled service and was promised a Gift Card as a reward and six months later I still have not received it. I have contacted them literally 10 times and I keep getting different excuses and outright lied to. They finally sent me the card and it was empty! Use anyone else but not them.
nctickedoff 11/07/2008
AT&T's customer service makes Sprint look like an award winning operation. I placed a bundle order 10 days ago and I still don't have telephone, internet or television. I have logged in over 20 calls and waited a total of over 4.5 hours just to find out what's going on. Now I can't even find anyone who will take my cancellation order because they say the number is locked in with a third party who handles changes. I was looking forward to getting an I Phone but I'm not that much of a masochist.

Been having problems since it's been installed almost a year ago. The original connections were bad, the next connections were bad, and the connections were bad. Now the DVR keeps freezing and resetting the box. When the box comes back on the recorded shows were erased. This happened twice. Customer service outsourcing is very evident. Losing movies and my mind!

To all you military and non military people I am going to tell you about Att service and customer service. I am going thru att and have recently moved to a different state. We no longer get any services at all, at my house and by the local grocerie stores. We have called several times to let them know and the just give us a run around. At first they told us that there towers were down so we had to wait 48 hours,so we called them back, Then they told us that we had to change our number so we did that and still no service, so we called back and they told us we had to get a new sim card so we did that and still no service so we called again and they told us we would have to pay to get out of the service even though they have a military clause ( not really) they just say that they do. They also told us that within a year they are getting more towers where I am at and I am just outside of phoenix. We have tryed getting ahold of the company itself and they haven't got back with us. neddless to say there service is shity and I will never go with them again.

Out rite HORRIBLE customer service!!! Not willing to listen or even help you out when it's not even your fault. Also, their reps seem to never leave notes on your account about what was talked about, agreed upon, or arrainged.

I called to have service established and thats when the troubles began! There was a number (ACTIVE) when I moved in which I informed them of. They said it would be replaced with my new number. The day my service was to become active it did not, however the other number was still active at my residence. I called customer service which told me it WAS active that there was something wrong with the wiring in my home. WRONG answer, I am a telecommunications technician with over 30 years of experience. I informed them that I was talking to them from my butt set (test set) just like thier technicians carry from the telephone network interface box on the side of my house. They insisted that I did not know what I was talking about (essentially calling me a liar). They said they would send somebody out to check the wiring in my home by 6:00PM. I told them that was unacceptable and that I expected them by 12:00 or would be cancelling the service. Of course they did not show up until 30 minutes after I cancelled the service and install and went with another provider (which went smooth and I love the service) It was to my surprise that I recieved a bill from them for 56.33 saying they were sorry to see me go? Out of curiousity I went back and unplugged my phone from the cable modem for my new service and plugged it back into the wall jack. The service from the OLD number was STILL active. I have since called them and informed them that they will remove it or I will clear back up to the pedestal located in my back yard. DO NOT USE ATT!
Enough 10/03/2008
AT&T has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. You cannot get through on the only 800 number they provide, I have waited on hold for hours listening to the infuriating message about how important my call is. They will not help you via email and instead direct you to call the same 800 number you can't get through on while admitting it is difficult if not impossible to speak to someone!!! They are now acting like the old AOL, when if you can't get through, how can you cancel their lousy service? If you are thinking of using any of their services, RUN don't walk away.
nadirh 10/01/2008
I had a terrible experience with AT&T yesterday. I got charged almost $100 for a 1 hour call to Canada (from California). I can call the other end of the world for less than 10c/minute using other providers, and AT&T charges me a $1.20 per minute calling our neighboring country. Does that make any sense?? I then called AT&T saying: "look, I understand I don't have an International plan, but firstly since Canada doesn't have a separate country code, I did not even know I was calling Canada. Secondly, I am willing to sign up for your International package right now. All to no avail. How is this good business for them? I told them that I was going to discontinue my service which I am going to do. They were making more than $60 a month off me, and for about $100 (one and a half month's worth), they are willing to lose me as a customer? Am I missing something? Nadir

They should not even get a 1 they need to get a -5 stars!!!! I have cancelled my business internet service 3 times!!!!! 3 times. they have screwed up my long distance, I was suppose to get 4 months free long distance and nothing. They charged double this time. I have not received my $100 visa gift card, my $75 bill credit. RUN AWAY, RUN AWAY FROM ATT. When I used their internet it went in and out of service constantly. And wouldn't you know the bill came Friday and since I don't get home until 5:30 at night (like the rest of america) they are closed from 5:30 friday until Monday. They are so freaking screwed up. I know I am sending a report to my Attorney General.

AT&T is the worst provider to have. I am in College Station and Hurricane Ike hit more than two days ago and I still have horrible service. Other providers such as T-Mobile and Sprint both can make and recieve calls, but AT&T the largest network in the world has no service. I would highly recommend switching providers or don't even bother using them. In a time of crisis it is most important that we can contact our loved ones and others so they can know that we are safe. If there was a no star option for rating that is the one I would choose. I hope AT&T falls to the ground and never gets back up. I truly hope this one weekend ruins their name and their products!
auburngirl1980 09/07/2008
AT&T has become so huge customer service is no longer important. I ordered service on-line because I was promised a free router and $50 cash back. When I tried to get that, they claimed I did not oder it online and proceeded to charge me $150 for the router. I gave them my confirmation # I recieved on my on-line order. They then confirmed I did infact order everything online an would send me a check for the router. Instead they sent me a letter saying, once again, I had not made the purchase online!! They are liars. I canceled my internet with them. It wasn't that good anyway.
acraftyburgess 09/07/2008
Utterly incompetent. Worst customer service. Billing mistakes common. Please do not use these people. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL.

Don't even think about going with this company. They have the wrost billing on earth! They will find some way to make it hard for you to pay your bill and than charge you extra just to pay it with an actually rep. over the phone.

i love at&t but... NEED MORE KEY PAD PHONES LIKE DA TILT WITH MULTIMEDIA!!! & of course a good battery....
GregdePotrero 08/23/2008
AT&T started billing me for someone else's calls from another number I had turned off in January. They can't figure out how to fix it, but they said that I had to pay it anyway or they would disconnet my phone. One supervisor suggested I get an international calling plan. To Pay for someone else's calls!
bennydaheeb 08/15/2008
I have been VERY unhappy with the level of service provided for the prohibitive cost. I ordered certain services and was assured by the salesman that i would get them, but (surprise surprise) did not get the services i wanted. The customer support center is practically useless, and are not in touch with the providers they are billing me for. There are tons of hidden fees, and if i had any other choice locally, i would not have anything to do with them. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.
kac 08/15/2008
Had AT&T phone and internet services in 2000. Had problems with overcharging that I could not get corrected for a year so I discontinued services and file a compliant with the state attorney general office. A year later they contacted me that they had made the error and reimbursed me. Tried them again a year ago for home and business. Ordered services for business however got different services. Could not get this corrected so I discontinued services. Received a bill with an extra fee for breaking the year contract that apparently was part of the plan they set up for me. The plan I had asked for did not have a year contract on it. Things went fine with home service until about 6 months ago. Change internet speed and they disconnected my account and put me on a new one which resulted in no services for several days and losing my email account/mail. Then a few months later I moved and the same thing happened again. Support stinks, I spent hours on the phone each time, trying to get them to check my account and instead they wanted to check on my computer set up only to determine the problem was at their end. Discontinued services and will not go back.

Att is, without a doubt, one of the worst cell phone service providers in the nation. I recently bought the iphone (which I like), but unfortunately I am forced to deal with ATT. They hide charges, have terrible customer service, and drop the most calls in the nation. I know all cell phone providers in the US are awful, they all try and cheat you out of your money as much as possible, but ATT try especially hard to be the worst. Avoid them at all costs.
attinfrankfort sucks 08/08/2008
Ok Ive had ATT for a little over a year now. Recently they took my bill from $105 which is where its suppost to be to $229. Last month it was $299 and this month its $160. I called customer service lots of times and they keep telling me i have parchell payments or some shit. I ask what does that means they can never give me answers. Ive had parchell payments on my bill for the last 3 months and WHAT THE FUCK. I havent changed my services or anything. everytime i call them i get put on hold for at least 45 minutes. I talk to customer service and their very rude and dont answer questions at all. I have DSL AND PHONE SERVICE AND UNLIMTED PHONE SERVICE. My phone line has been static for the past year and I keep calling and the tech comes and says theres nothing wrong. I didnt have static on my line the first 4 damn months i have service so there has to be something wrong. It seems like every damn month theres something new they fucked up on. My bill is getting OVERCHARGED. my phone line is static and customer service is bullshit.
ausann 07/28/2008
I have had the worst service of my life with ATT. The main problem appears to be their phone system which takes you through many menus, disconnects (4 times out of 5) and takes 45 minutes to get to a live person. The actual individuals are doing their best but by the time they answer I am already frustrated. There is no confirmation of orders so mistakes cannot be rectified I ordered the following services. Ordered Phone, DSL, Cell, Dish This is a short version of my experience Phone. Took about 7 days to install but voice mail was not included and should have been. Call forwarding stopped working after DSL was installed. DSL. I was given an installation date which was from 8am to 8pm. No one called and there was no DSL. I called to question this (another 30 minute wait) and was told that my line had been used for someone elses service and I would get a call in 24 hours. This did not happen. About 7 days later a got a call from a technician saying it was installed and it them took another call (and wait) to register. Cell phone. Did not receive phone and registration instructions. Again called and verified that it had been ordered but not sent out. Cancelled this service Dish Technician arrived on correct day but without the correct equipment. His order was for non HD and I had ordered HD. Again no confirmation. I was told I would have to go the back of the queue for installation. Another company could install quicker and cheaper so I cancelled this service.
AandM 07/27/2008
AT&T's customer service is horrible. I've talked to two or three different customer service representatives and one tells me something that totally contradicts the other - does anyone in this company know what they're doing?! They don't have 24/7 customer service (these days, every cell phone company should!). To login to your account online you must have some special powers because all the passwords you set up decide not to work, then you're locked out of your account. As a result I cannot login to view my bills, and since i opted out of paper billing (what was i thinking?) it's the only way to really LOOK at my bill. My husband and I have both called about the login info and confirmed our passwords and have had to reset them once or twice, but no matter what we do..we're always locked out of the account although we know the passwords are correct. The website doesn't even recognize our zip code, and so it locks us out automatically...for putting in our zip code. This is by far the worst cell phone company I've ever dealt with. If it wasn't for living in Alaska and having no other option (ummm $80/mo for 500 shared minutes plan with NO extra goodies..are you kidding me?!), I wouldn't have given AT&T a second glance. DO NOT go to A&T, you'll regret it.
windhawktan 07/22/2008
I am truly shocked with ATT customer service. I was offered 3 months free service if I switched from my current provider to them. I have been calling every month since then and still have to receive it (it is now past 6 months) and today they told me there is no rebate in their system and it is my loss now for not getting the 3 months free service. In addition, I have not received my statement for a couple of months. Out of courtesy I called to check what is going on only to be told that if you have paid online prior, they will automatically stop the paper statement and it is up to your responsibility to keep up with the payment. Isn't this an obvious trap to get your service to be disconnected ? The representative then transfer me to billing only to be told that my account number is under another person name. Honestly someone in ATT needs to check on their database system. There are just too much discrepancies and we as the consumer is getting the penalty for their mistakes.
ivorycobra 07/20/2008
I have had many problems with ATT-my mail in rebate for my modem never came. When I called them about it at the rewards center they said I had to do a 3 way call with customer service (but their office was closed). I've called them about it 3 times now. I was also out of service for about a month which they have yet to reimburse me for (they had to send 3 technicians out before they figured out the problem). I really hate their computer that answers when you call. Whether you enter your phone number or say it, it ALWAYS gets it wrong or directs you to the wrong place. Finally, when you do get directed to a real person there's always a long long time on hold. If they didn't have a monopoly in Houston, I would choose someone else for sure!
jdspe 06/26/2008
Worst customer service in the world because nobody has any idea what they're talking about!!! Everybody gives different answers to the same freakin question, and they have you still asking the same damn question after 2 hours on the phone! The connection sucks ever since AT&T took over, and they royally screw your arsenal on overcharges. The taxes are ridiculous too!
Jumpess 06/20/2008
Ever since AT&T has taken over Cingular, the service has gotten aweful, reception is out the window, and their website just plain sucks. I live in the country and use to have great reception when Cingular owned it but shortly after AT&T took over my reception went from a 5 to a 1 or 2. If you call Customer service about it they are snide and rude and say well they are working on the towers for the DATA part and has been for the last 6 months if not longer. I'm sorry but my reception shouldn't be this bad just because they are trying to make the data users happy. And on top of that everytime I either try to add to my account or see my bill online at the att.com website I get I'm sorry for the inconvinience blah blah blah. I'm Seriously thinking about switching. Cricket was bad but not nearly as bad as this. I've been with CINGULAR since 2003 would hate to leave but will if they dont care about their ppl!

Crappy connections, slow media net, and automated customer service that makes you want to tear your hair out and doesn't make the changes to your account it says it will
flybikesamigo5 06/07/2008
AT&T is the worst service in the world. You might as well go to Spencer's toy shop and get a trick shocking phone; you might be a little less irritated with that not-so-funny prank than you will be when you get arthritis from redialing endless times until you get mediocre service (at the most). Sometimes your phone might appear to have all bars or at least a good amount, but this doesn't mean you actually get to hear the person on the other end of the line. AT&T makes Keanu Reeves seem like a genius. There isn't much more I can say. Just don't make the stupid switch to this phone company like I did. Sincerely, a pissed off customer><

i get great service with at&t, no more and no less than i did with verizon. im happy with the customer service, weve had more than our fair share of spam charges on our bill and cingular removed them all. Cant say that for verizon. the only thing is their phones - i dont understand what it is with at&t - their phone selections suck. Its either one thing or another. Ive been looking for anohter phone and ive gone through so many reviews and finally decided on the samsung a737. I loved everything about it, every feature...and then we had a rain spell, and I couldnt even use it because no one could hear me. what crap. cingular better catch up to par or im going back to verizon.

At&t + Cingular = worst customer support I've ever come across. The people are rude, obnoxious and impatient.

AT&T has the worst phone and internet service in the planet. I think bellsouth were prettey good by themselves. AT&T staff has no knowledge of service. They are very very very incompetent. You get different answers for the same questions from different reps. Their standard of service is very poor or I must say worst. When I had bellsouth, it was great until AT&T jumped in. I don't think their superviors know how inknowledgable their staff is. This would be the last company I would recommend someone. They are full of promises and discounts but not worth it!!!

AT&T is completely incompetent. I hesitantly upgraded to them from CellularOne because I needed a new phone. After 2 weeks I cancelled and was told i would only be billed for the service I used, about a week later I got my first bill for about $130, I figured the correct bill just didn't get sent out yet. The next day i recieved another bill for a little over $30, and the day after that one for $46, and the day after that one for around $65, and finally the next day a service shut-off notice. Finally I called them, told them what happened, got transfered to about 4 different people, which i might add were all completely incompetent, finally i told them to transfer me to a supervisor, when i finally got the supervisor on the phone I explained the situation, she was *suprise* unhelpfull, so i finally told her that they could shut off my service because i didn't have a phone or contract with them anymore so i didn't care, but if they wanted their money they would send me a correct bill otherwise i wasn't paying them a damn cent... So the next week I got a bill from them for about $130, and the next day one for a little over $30, and the day after that one for about $46, and the day after that one for around $65 then finally a call from the AT&T collections department saying I owed $76, I listen to him rudely yammer on and insult me for about 5 min. then finally told him that i had no problem paying the bill, however i would not be paying them anything until they sent me one bill for the correct amount and if they could not do that they would not receive any money from me what so ever. Of course he got ruder, not that that is a suprise to anyone that's ever dealt with this company. It has been about 2 weeks since that phone call, I never received another bill and I just got off the phone with another collection agency saying I owed $67 to AT&T, needless to say I payed that damn $67 because i wasn't letting some incompetent phone company screw up my credit. The plan I had was about $110 a month for 900 minutes with unlimited text and internet, I am currently paying the same amount for double the minutes, better service and much better customer care. Bottom line is, that AT&T doesn't care about it's customers or its service quality, they are a bunch of rude over-payed incompetent jackasses. They dont even deserve to get the one star rating it took to post this!!!

AT$T sucks with such a vacuum, it has forgotten that it is the consumer that has been paying the continuous rising rates that they have seemed to yet to stop. It has been the consumers that have built the empire they have become today and as their continuous crappy attidude is given to the consumers, that and thier ill ways to resolve conflict will just be a matter of time before their great empire falls unless they get a swift kick of attitude adjustment. Cable unfortunately is starting to look very appealing at this point.

No one seems to know how to do there job. My bill goes up each month. Our individual plans were cheaper than our current family plan. Bad Bad experance!
