 I have written previously but here is the proof that Comcast is trying to force everyone to buy their high priced digital whether you want it or not. I had digital for a while when they offered to wire my entire house and give me four digital boxes for $60 a month for a year but after that year was over my bill jumped to well over $100 a month. And while digital is nice you can only watch about maybe a third of the channels. And as most people already know for some reason they play the same movies over and over as if they don't have the ability with all the money they squeeze from their customers every month to ad some new movies because there are thousands of them out there! Anyway, I wrote them because I was mad they took off Discovery Health channel. I was already disgusted with them for taking off channel 5 so you could no longer order a movie channel on basic cable. A lady answered my email and said they took off discovery health because it was such a popular channel and they had to make room for new channels. Okay, what NEW channels? they raised my price for basic and you are taking channles off not adding anything. She said "well for ONLY $13.00 more you can have digital in your home!" I don't want digital. I can't afford it now. I write to complain about something and she tries to sell me digital. How many of you have had similar experiences? Comcast wants your money - this is how they can buy Disney and are buying up all the sports stuff so no one else can air popular sports events but them! I see how the government is now investigating them. You know nothing will be done though because just like big oil the government just lets these big companies drain money out of hard working Americans pockets. A lot of people complain about Comcast but what can you do? if you want cable in most areas they are the only cable company you have!
