I have been playing for 20 yrs. I still play a gibson les paul deluxe but for my newest style of playing which is speed metal this 006 schecter definately is the best guitar for the type of music it was designed for . Sometimes these ratings are obscure definately gibsons are good all around guitars but if you get specific and research a guitar for your style of playing then rate it you will get different results . As for numetal speed metal or any kind of thrash I suggest schecter guitars thats why I rate them a 5 star guitar

Townsend used them...the Schecter Tele was a good play.

These aren't bad at all, and give good value for its price point.  Their models are well-made knock-offs of designs from other manufacturers.  I've played a few and felt they'd make very good practice/rehearsal instruments or serve admirably as back-up guitars.

ive played every guitar company from martin to monson. schecter definetly deserves some respect.

well balanced, smooth, beautifull guitars in my experience.
