He messed up the california electricity problem. He could have done what the former Governor/President Reagan did to the same problem years ago.

When I think Gray Davis, I think Socialist Democratic Party. This man is so far left that totalitarinism can't be too far behind. Instead of being a man of character and vision he has absconded with the Taxpayers and ratepayers money and is spending it to help the poor electric generators and distributors. We need a strong individual to stand up the this monopoly of power mongers and prosicute them to the fullest extent of the law for their opportunistic preying on the ratepayers of California. The people have the power to change this errant behavior... What if eveyone forgot to pay their power bill next month????? What if we recalled Gray Davis???

I have the utmost respect for this man. I hope that he runs for president in 2004--I will not only vote for him, but will campaign for him. But for now he's busy trying to clean up the crap that was left from the Wilson regime and is taking alot of the heat for it. He has a long history of service to our country (I think he was a Captain in Viet Nam) and to the State of California, starting with the work he did during Brown's administration. He is pro-environment. He is very calm acting and is not a reactionary. I would trust him with the leadership of our country.

Why do we the tax payers have to have a rate increase When the executives of SCE received million dollar bonuses for Christmas????? I do not believe this energy crisis is because of a shortage - it is a way to gauge the public and I am holding Gray Davis responsible!!!

Gov. Davis: Thanks for doing such a great job of looking out for Californians and California's role in the state of the Union. The current energy crisis is not your doing, but still it's yours to help fix. From Palm Springs

Davis came out with a big pat on his back statement about what he has done to avert the energy crisis facing California, but the only one that believes it is himself. He knows that the only solution is to take back the power plants that PG&E and SDGE were forced to sell to Duke Power and Enron. That is the only way that the price gouging can be stopped because Duke and Enron have no vested interest in Califoria they are here to drain the money out of the state. They have found a gold mine and they are not going to stop until it is dry. Californians are going to be faced with 400 and 500 dollar power bills because Duke and Enron are producing power for 4 cents a Kilowatt hour and selling it for $1.41 a kilowatt because they are deregulated. If Davis does not take back the plants any solution he says he comes up with is nothing but a band aid on slit artery.

Gray Davis is a great Monday morning quarterback in his recent statements regarding utility deregulation in California. It is a catastropy waiting to happen all over this country simply because supply cannot meet demand. Rules are constantly changing thanks to the CPUC; both suppliers and consumers are getting screwed as a result. There is plenty of blame to go around. Our Republican and Democratic leaders alike should seriously re-think this thing called deregulation. Bottom line is that we need more power plants, but they cannot all be natual gas fired folks. There are alternative fuels, but perhaps we need to revisit nuclear technology in order to meet the future electricity needs of this country. There need to be more incentives for conservation as well. Just think about all the hotel rooms where air conditioners are running with no one in the room! Texas is next in line for disaster.

I think that Gray Davis shouldn't have the High School Exit Exam at all!! Why, because many kids are slacking off in school as it is, and all of the schools will be over-crowded. If he was going to use this method, push it back to 2005!!! I also heard that he wants to extend the school year. What is with that!!! Most kids dipise school as it is!!! Why make them suffer more!! Why take away their vacation time just to stay in school to slack off!! I think Gay Davis has a bad approach to the entire education system!!!!!

Gray Davis is an embarassment to California. He is a leader in poor decision making. His agenda is to lower the quality of life here and provide for easy influx of people who will become government dependant, thereby securing the agenda of the socialist Democratic Party to increase the size of Government and the people's dependance upon it.

He is the Captin of Sodom and Gamorrra, The prince of darkness for our state of California. He and his cronies of lust and murder think they have it all nailed down. But Jesus bore the nails because of his Love. They want to do it their way and distroy the children and unborn babies and hide in the darkness and think they can get away with it. They call Christians haters because we stand up for Life and Morals and want to give the world hope. The Truth is there is a choice to be made about how we choose to live, it is not genetic, that is a excuse for the, lust of the flesh and to do what we want to do instead of what our creator designed us to be. Then they want us to agree with them and take us to hell with them by popular vote. We will win no matter what comes down, but they will be lost in the Lake of Fire for eternity unless they repent, Our plee is change your direction and be saved.
