All he wants is to see every woman on the planet with her pants down. The poor, poor women who had children by him. Jesse Jackson is a lying jerk who once even said that if he saw a bunch of black youths, He'd run for cops! So he's a racist against his own race. Shame on Jesse. I encourage every black person to kick his ass and every black woman to refuse his advances.

Hypocrite. He certainly isn't a revrand of any god I know. I do not thank that any God that is involved around morality would approve of adultry. BTW, is he really a revrand of anything....I mean besides reverse racism. He's an example of the many people and most activist organizations who piss, moan, and bitch about anything whenever they want something, but can't get it. They're all less mature than toddlers. He's one of the biggest crybabies of all. He'll even accuse his own people of being racist (Barbershop...the latest attempt). All he unifies is hate amongst human beings.
StanUzbeck 07/28/2003
I don't think Jesse Jackson is all that terrific, but some of the comments here sicken me. You really think that his life's work is invalidated because he owes it all to racial problems? That somehow he should be grateful to rich white oppressors for giving his life a purpose? Did the British deserve all the credit for everything Gandhi did? Was Nelson Mandela so indebted to apartheid in any way? Should women bow down to men daily and THANK them for letting them have equal rights? The main problem with this country is that everyone's opinions have equal weight, no matter how misguided or ignorant they may be. You don't actually have to know anything about a subject to have an opinion on it, and think that your opinion is just as valid as a Harvard professor's. Screw all of you.

Unless you do this and that, me and my people (who I have brainwashed) will boycott you out of business. Is this guy a politician at all? Rascist "activist".

Jesse Jackson...the ultimate house slave. For years the Democrats have been doing the same thing to African Americans; pull a couple out and treat them specially, then let the chosen one control the others. It worked during slavery, it worked during the days of Jim Crow, and it's working now. The Democratic National Committee pays this man a million dollars to further their surreptitious racial agenda, and he does marvellously for them. Anyone who would lie and say they held Dr. King in his arms as he died is disgusting. Any Reverend who has an illegitimate child should be defrocked. And anyone who wants to tell us out of one side of his mouth that White America doesn't care about us, then tell us out of the other side that we desperately need their help is monster. He's a true sell out, and has twisted alot of Black America's mind into ignoring the true enemies of freedom and equality: rising illegitimacy rates, crime, lack of self control, lack of education, and the lust for free money. Jesse Jackson promotes segregation, which is no surprise since his biggest supporter, Bill Clinton, gave the Congressional Medal of Honor to a segregationist. How could he work for the party with the worst civil rights record, a party who voted overwhelmingly to keep slavery and to prevent the passing of the civil rights bill? For the love of money....
Redoedo 06/08/2003
He has made a career out of being a divider, not a uniter (which is what he claims to be). However, I have to give him an extra star for negotiating the release of the American soliders held hostage in 1980.
TigerCap 06/07/2003
$hakedown artist. Does not care about civil rights - just lining his pockets. Top creep
Moosekarloff 06/04/2003
This guy should stow it already because he's causing more than significant damage to the Democratic Party and the last vestiges of liberalism than anyone on the GOP/rightwing side of the political fence, more than any talkinghead ideologue on cable TV or AM radio. Jackson is just another civil rights dinosaur of the 1960s who's desperately trying to remain relevant in a world that's passing him by. I have a difficult time according credibility to someone who presents himself as a Man of God, but fathers children our of wedlock. I have a difficult time taking seriously a guy who defends shady nightclub-owning businessmen who are buddies of his when dozens of people are trampled during a fire in said buddy's nightspot. The sad thing is that the Democratic Party, liberal element and African-American community really hasn't come up with someone to replace him, which tells you a great deal about the talent pool available to those three entities.

It's depressing when you try to be unbiased and open minded, but then you see Jesse Jackson ranting and raving his racist propaganda. Then you think, what the hell did I do?

Jesse Jackson is the biggest racist!! If a black person dont get what the want they cry racisim! Balck have the own collages and TV stations, i bet jesse would be like "jesus christ on a pogo stick" is we open a White School or White TV station. someone need to do him a favor and give him and his followers a one way trip back to africa on a leaky boat

The Reverand Jesse Jackson is nothing but a blubbering idiot, always trying to find some way to have an issue be race related. In the latest issue he has had would be involving the hiring of Don Schula as the football coach for Alabama. Somehow this moron turned it into a race related issue because there was a black coach who was more qualified. All i have to say is WHO CARES this guy is an idiot and i have no idea why anybody thinks he is a leader of any sort.
RebelYell1861 05/11/2003
Trash. This is a man who is not qualified for ANYTHING and only attempts to stir up trouble. And what church has he ever been the "reverend" of anyway?
ILAC 05/10/2003
Rev. King was a hero a uniter. Jesse Jackson is a crook and a devider and a truely evil evil man.

a complete disgrace to any race
Saltydog 05/02/2003
My tremendous respect for Reverend Jackson is tempered by my concern for his motives. However, he has done much in his long and illustrious career, primarily, championing the civil rights of all persons of all races, and successfully negotiating the release of American POWS in several previous military campaigns.

This race baiter is doing his best to make sure that blacks all over the world know they will always be victims.
CanadaSucks 03/02/2003
Race-baiter extraordinare. . .clearly learned nothing from his time spent with King. I admire his gift for not realizing his own increasing irrelavence.
JTree 03/02/2003
A race baiter extraordinaire. The real problem with this man, however, is his character. He has used his position to enrich himself in the most shameless ways imaginable. Moral relativism at its most cynical. Read "Shakedown". It will blow you away. I read one story about this man on the web where he told an interviewer that he enjoyed spitting in white people's salads when he was a waiter in South Carolina. Pretty telling incident. Our history is a series of ebbs and flows. At the flood, we become confronted with over reactions and unfairness. As Senator Moynihan said, anytime one group starts complaining about their rights, it's always at the expense of someone else's rights. In this instant and because of the flood, we've had to suffer unethical, immoral, and criminal conduct from a series of racially motivated politicians ranging from sexual peccadilloes, jury nullification, an unjustified racial chauvinism and blatant racial favoritism. No one dared criticise these people and actions but the tide is turning. The rest of the citizens in this country, Hispanics and Asians as well as whites have had enough of the crime and political correctness absolving them from any criticism. The Hispanics are becoming a more significant minority and their value system is decidely mainstream. Honest work and honest living. On every front and in every part of the country, they are challenging the black hegemony that denies them a share of the sunlight. Rampant favoritism such as college admissions is being challenged. Politicians such as Mr. Jackson, Mr. Sharpton, Ms. Waters, Mr. Conyers and Mr. Farrakhan, to name only a few, are no longer getting a pass and their hate filled messages are no longer going unanswered. Mr. Conyers is pushing for slavery reparations. We should ask about the millions that went into the Great Society programs and the damages that the crime from this group has inflicted on us all at one point or another. The gravy train is coming to an end. Welfare is being replaced by workfare. None too soon, A natural equilibrium is kicking in that rights the wrongs that so many have had to endure over the past fifty years. Equality has largely been achieved but it is stopping at the verge of a perpetual guilt trip and free lunch. Thank God!

What can we say good about a racist who takes advantage of women, then uses contribution money to pay for his illegitimate offspring, chases every ambulance, consorts with our enemies while we are at war, then calls himself "Reverend"? PLLEEAASSE!!
Dainslef 02/21/2003
This man has the audacity to call himself a reverend, when his main income source is EXTORTION. This man is a fraud and a horrible person.
lukskywlkr. 02/13/2003
Well, I see by the extremely high number of derogatory comments that it would be pointless for me to trash him even further...Oh well, maybe a comment or two: First, I'm completely convinced that this guy is in it to get his fair share--fame, publicity, money, whatever. He's doing it for himself, not for his race or country. He cries racism when and where there is none. By doing this, he keeps open the door for even more tension between the races. In other words, he makes mountains out of molehills. Case in point: the recent hiring of Steve Mariuchi to coach the Detroit Lions football team. Guess who goes and cries "racism" because he feels a black guy didn't have what he considered to be a legitimate chance at the job? Now, I'm not particularly a fan of Mariuchi or the Lions, either, but I never once considered it as racism that he was hired. Jesse Jackson was trying to stir up trouble where there wasn't any before. In fact, I have very serious doubts that he knows the least bit about football to begin with. He probably wouldn't know a football if someone threw one at him. He needs to mind his own business.

Fredwah 12/14/2002
A fraud. Read the book "Shakedown: Exposing the Real Jesse Jackson" which gives the details on the good Reverand's activities. PS- Why does the media take him seriously?
AmazingMole 09/30/2002
Jesse "Out of the wedlock" Jackson & Taliban Sharpton are planning to boycott the movie, Barbershop. These so-called civil rights activist don't like Cedric the Entertainer joking about Rosa Parks, OJ Simpson, and Jesse Jackson. These idiots want MGM studios to cut the offensive scenes from video & DVD and apologize to them. Has Jesse & Al Shaprton heard of "Freedom of Speech"?
Damifino 07/07/2002
Nothing more to be said. A national disgrace, pure and simple. If you're wavering on him in the slightest, I suggest you read "Shakedown." You'll never look at him in the same way again.
thornvv 03/20/2002
Racial demagogue/phony reverend. He divides America like few others. His finances are more than suspicious. How'd he pay off that mistress? Al Sharpton looks good by comparison!
freceira222 03/20/2002
The Great unifier. He speaks for true equality and justice for all. Just how the rainbow unties all colors so does Jesse Jackson.
Solenoid DH 02/27/2002
In the late 1970s, I was impressed by him. He was pro-life, spoke intelligently, urged our youth to avoid drugs...but within a few years he morphed into a first-class trouble maker. I am a minister of the Gospel and I'm stunned that another man who calls himself a minister of the Gospel would work so tirelessly to deliberately stir up hatred and division, and try to keep himself in the spotlight all the time. Did you notice that Bill Clinton chose him to be a spiritual "counselor" to him after he got caught in the Lewinsky affair - only to have it come out later that Jackson was engaged in his own illicit relationship with a woman at the very same time? WHEW!!!!!
charliethetuna 02/10/2002
Pick all the qualities you would not like to see in your leaders - racist, philanderer, liar, powermonger, attention-seeker, and the lsit could go on. Jesse, you're all of those things, and more so than most people i don't like. You have not even helped your own people - rather by turning politicinas and philanthropists alike against the causes you support, you have been more of a detriment to your own people than you have been an aid.
CastleBee 01/15/2002
Jesse is bottom of the barrel, grade A scum cut from the same cloth as every unscrupulous ambulance-chasing lawyer and corrupt pseudo man of God who ever lived. Jerry Springer and all the other bottom feeders stinking up the airwaves today have absolutely nothing on him. I can just see him sitting around in a big office somewhere with his stooges and spin-doctors working out new ways to turn, twist and rewrite current events for their mutual benefit. If you don't see it, it can only be because you don't want to see it.

Lord of the Waves 01/07/2002
I appluade Jesse for his attempts in equal rights, but, he really cannot even be measured on the same scale as his predecessor Martin Luther King j.r. and is certainly not as good as Malcolm X a great man. All in all jesse is a mediocre speaker and doesn't contribute much.
TheFreak 12/21/2001
Jesse Jackson is someone who has become famous for being famous. Other than inserting himself into the battles of others, no one can possibly tell me anything that Jesse Jackson has ever accomplished. But, stir up some controversy, and he's there! Politician? Yeah, right. Idiot, maybe, but not politician.
ellajedlicka21 12/19/2001
Jackson is one of the greatest civil rights leader in the history of our nation. MLK and Malcolm X were more influential in the '60s, but he carries on the same civil disobedience and progressive programs as the two. His Rainbow Push Coalition is a fine organization and I am glad to see that the African American community is well-represented.
Rusty 09/03/2001
Normally, I am a forgiving person who tries to understand where people are coming from. In defense of the good reverend, he has done much to unite disparate groups of people who have been historically downtrodden, much like Dr. MLK and Cesar Chavez have done. He has been a strong voice of compassion and outreach in a world that seems to have forgotten the everyday "little person" and he is always hitting at a complacent white America's collective conscience, which is to assume responsibility towards your neighbor(s) in need. HOWEVER!!!!! The good reverend, for all the good he has done (or, at least, has talked much about), has been prone to think with Mr. Happy, especially in light of the fact that he fathered a child out of wedlock with one of his assistants. He has shown lapses in common sense and judgment, what with his reference to New York City and its Jewish population as "Hymietown," and his support for Minister Louis Farrakhan. It is during these moments of sheer stupidity and ignorance that I feel sorry for the man. It shows me that JJ is all too human and struggles with his failings and faults, but because he occupies a position of prominence in the black community, his mishaps and dalliances are magnified to the Nth degree. Perhaps this is fair, or maybe it isn't. Reverend Jackson has many good ideas for this nation, but it seems that he suffers chronically from foot-in-mouth disease. That's a shame.

This man wishes to tell anyone how to live, what they should do and who they should give to? I just don't think so!
