I have always had some respect for Pat, but he should stay out of politics.

I agree with a lot of Buchanan's platform, but his behavior in the most recent presidential election totally turned me off to him. Honestly, I haven't kept up with a lot of his political views recently, but it seems that he is basically an ultra-conservative. WHAT ON EARTH IS AN ULTRA CONSERVATIVE DOING RUNNING A THIRD PARTY TICKET????? If you are conservative, run as a Republican or don't run at all. Republicans are the conservative party. Democrats are the liberal party. Third parties are for candidates who stand for issues that are not represented by the mainstream liberal or conservative. If a conservative fails to get the Republican nomination, then he should not be running for president. His constituents have already shown him that he does not have the appeal to make an impact. All he ends up doing is leeching the Republicans' extreme-right vote. I have much greater respect for Alan Keyes, who, though he too is extremely conservative and failed to get much support in his own party, recognized that if he couldn't make it as a Republican, there was no point in wasting the money to run.

Pat Buchanan represents an America that has died. This America was not afraid to stand up for itself or fight for freedom. It was values and courage that won freedom for this country, both politically and economically. I believe that Pat Buchanan has those values and if anyone trully believes in our freedoms and our values, they should vote for Pat Buchanan. Don't let our country die.\

Pat Buchanan is a True American, he has been demonized unjustly. He would make the best president American has had in many decades. You may not agree with him on all issues but he is honest and loves American.

This man stands firmly on the moral high ground, a beacon in the moral darkness of Al Gore, and the Clintons. Those who oppose him, should search their own moral fiber, and find their own significant moral lackings. Finally a man with backbone enough to Stand for the ONE True God, and not bow their knee to moral relativism.

I think Pat is sincere but he's so self-centered and self-righteous that he can't see how, time after time, he has driven our country towards people like Clinton. I like him but I rate him 'Terrible' because of the terrible effect he has had on our country.

The people who call Pat a Nazi sympathizer are either dishonest or intellectually lazy -- but I still think he's a joke. His understanding of economics is more naive than Gore's if that's possible. He picks fights in the social area that are either irrelevant or unwinnable.
