I liked Rosie when she was really pleasant and nice, but lately she's been venting a lot, verbally attacking people like Michael Jackson. She can be annoying, and I didn't like her letting Streisand take over her show before the last election. But I like Rosie's singing (and the joy she gets from it), and I like her when she's pleasant. She was a very talented talk show host, and it's a shame that she doesn't do the show anymore.I'm proud of her for coming out, and I respect her.

Am I the only one who finds the idea of this woman showing up on Nickelodeon constantly very disturbing? I certainly don't want impressionable kids thinking that her lesbian lifestyle is "ok". I liked Rosie when she hosted that stand up comedian show. I thought her talk show was not very professional, but it had a little down to earth, homely quality to it. I could stand to watch it sometimes, but she was the biggest corporate shill I've ever seen outside an infomercial. And she got a lot of flak about her hypocritical stance on guns which was deserved. She obviously never gave much thought or knew much about the gun issue. Rosie spouted off a simplistic view, saying that no one had the right to own a gun; then her child's body guard was discovered to carry one to protect her family. That is such a typical point of view on the left, to deny everyone else the right to bare arms and then pack heat themselves. I say if guns are good enough to protect scum like Rosie, Billy Clinton, or any of the hollywood elite, then they are good enough to protect the royal family---mine. If those people really believed in what they preached, they would walk around unarmed. Anyway, back to Rosie, I'm not a left wing liberal or a right-wing conservative, so I don't really appreciate those who are, but Rosie is a tolerable person when she's not making policy decisions.
