Well mals7376et would call me an idiot for my opinion on Eminem...but not everyone sees eye to eye. I love his music...and yes it is TALENT. I love hearing people have conversations on him and how he is this bad person bashing everyone...but I think the people with those opinions have not heard his music in depth. His songs have so much truth in them...and that is something people hate...the truth. Why do people blame him for others doings? He is the beginning of a new era of lyrics and it is just going to keep growing...no stopping it. People used to think on the same lines about Elvis long time ago. My opinion...anyone who hates him....has lost the ability to flow with the times. He has a song for any mood you could possibly be in...his songs can bring you up...motivate and so on.

One of the worst singers--and people--of all time, Eminem (aka Marshall "Mindless" Mathers) needs to be arrested and thrown in jail. His overuse of profanity does no one any good. His lyrics smell worse than a plate of vegetables, making no sense and being extremely pessmisitic. But, what are they, you ask? Let's analyze, shall we? One example of this crazy guy's lyrics include "Sent to lead the march right up to the steps of Congress/ and [term for urination] on the lawns of the White House...to spit [alcholic beverage] in the face of this democracy of hypocrisy. So, he drinks, he has no respect for authority and he has a delusion that he is some contemparary hero? What? This punk is a hero to no one. Of course, like almost all rap music, the lyrics are mostly unintelligable and have no rhythm or harmony. And, in a hypocritical move, he shields his own daughter from his music, but attacks everyone else with his vile music. And, as for the person who said he was attractive, how can someone like this even be attractive? Simply put, he can't. Give me clean and optimistic music any day! As a musician, I despise rap and think Eminem is a very negative example for American youth, but he's damn good. It's obvious he has incredible talent.

Anyone who is really going to appreciate Eminem needs not not listen to his "Radio Hits" that came out up until "The Eminem Show" if you listen to the way he raps, its poetic. Eminem puts a lot of thought in his work. His lyrics are, not doubt, one of the tightest today; however, his voice can get irritating at times. His choice and manipulation of music is incredible. He definately has a good taste in music and a great eye for scouting talent (50 cents). He feeds too much on the manipulation of controversy rather than the inherent nature of the word. Be yourself and realize that there are tons of people with greater problems that your own.

Sometimes people feel like thought provoking, inspirational music to uplift their spirits. Sometimes, you just want a song with a good beat, that's funny, or something that helps you vent your feelings. Eminem comes off as a crude, angry, wigga that hates his momma and any woman that's ever broke his heart. Maybe he is, I really don't care. I just like his music. And I too, am a Texas country boy.

I'm tired of this poser trying to convince us that he's bad ass. I'm sick of everyone saying that he's some kind of genius when all he does is talk crap, run around with a bulge in his pants or wear a hard plastic ass over his own. I also find his obsession with testicles a bit disturbing. Watch the Slim Shady Show and you'll see what i'm talking about. There's a big fuzzy surprise in every episode.

His comment are incredably witty, funny and make you think. In Australia the media (gay mafia) band his airplay for a year and a half for saying that 'gays have more rights than hetros' and that they call him a homophobe. For this they lable him a racist even though he has black friends.

I think that Eminem is a very talented person. He can act, and rap. His music is real, it is about everyday things for him and stuff that people can relate too.

I must admit, I have an enormous soft spot for this guy. I like his stuff very much! I am a 40 year old woman with two boys, one being 19 years of age. My two sons are huge fans and this is how I was introduced to Mr Shady! When I first heard Marshall Mathers I had to get past the whole swearing thing. Funnily enough, without the dissing and the odd F word, his songs and his message would not quite be the same. He needs this **** to relate. I can now say I am a fan of Marshall/Eminem and wonder why every day. He has the talent and the raw energy to get you going, to get you thinking and this is obviously his ultimate plan. He knows how to work the audience and play the music game and whoa, he has certainly earned his spot up there with the best of the rappers. His song writing talents are awesome and something to be applauded. His songs "Superman" and "Lose Yourself" are two of my favourites, particularly "Lose Yourself" - I believe his best yet. I just want to give the guy a cuddle and wish him further success. Love Ya Dude...YO!

Anybody who still hates him for his lyrics should listen to what he has to say on the track "White America." It caused me to reevaluate my opinion, maybe it will do the same for you.

Coming from the Detroit area, Eminem is bound to be one of my favorite artists. He is a pure genious. He knows how to push all the limits, and piss people off while still coming out cool. If he sucked so bad, then why would he be one of the most popular artists today. Detroit WHAT?!

I'll give this guy two stars..there are certain aspects about him that i enjoy. i enjoy his talent based on how he puts words together that fit together so perfectly. However, i dont like him otherwise at all. He is only popular for his color, and the fact that he CONSTANTLY complains about his life. He is always talking about how pop stars just talk about falling in and out of love, well all he talks about is how much he hates his family, and how much he loves his kid, and how much he wants to kill and rape you. im not bothered by what he says, because i think its hillarious that some while little punk says hes gonna kill me. im bothered that he doesnt have anyting better to say than stuff with no substance or importance. he is completely self absorbed to make a whole movie "losely" based on his life. his ego is shot up the roof. sex sells and so does an unpredictable mouth. enjoy the success while it lasts cuz before you know it people are gonna get sick of it.
