OK so here is the thing. I am 26 years old and I despise country music, with the exception of Garth Brooks & Faith Hill & Shania Twain. BUT, as I was watching the music awards, this little boy came on stage and I thought, who is that? Then seeing this kid perform gave me goose bumps that only the most powerful voices could give me. I sing myself and manage a rock band and therefore I know a good voice when I hear one. This kid is absolutely amazing. I can't get over the strength in his voice. The range of his vocal ability absolutely blows me away! And what a performer!!! This kid has something that we all wish we had... And listen to the message that his songs deliver, it's heart-stopping! Not enough musicians speak of the wrong in the world and point out exactly what we are all doing wrong. Truth may hurt but boy does it ever make us think!!!! I wish him the best of luck in everything he does. I'm sure we will be seeing him for years to come...

I think Billy is great. I loved his songs Oklahoma and One Voice. He is so cute. I'd really like to meet him but I'm pretty sure I won't. I can always dream.My brother has his CD One Voice and I know almost every song by heart. I think the best present would be him at my 12th Birthday party.

Billy is such a great kid. He is polite, respectful, and so appreciative. He always thanks his family and everyone for being so helpful to him in doing what he does. It is so refreshing to see such a wholesome little boy. He says he wants to stay a kid as long as possible. So many young people today want to be adults as soon as they hit their teenage years. Billy Gilman is a great singer, concidering how old he is. The bad thing is that in a year or so his voice wont be quit the same, but I am sure that he would make a great comeback. As for his songs. I saw this person for the first time ever on TV this past Monday night. I was flopping back and forth between the American Music Awards and something else. I was watching that something else show and jumped back to the awards show and this kid was performing. I am pretty intrigued by the whole androgynous thing, so I could not take my eyes off this singer wondering what it was - a boy, a girl, a child, an adult with that disease that makes their appearance forever young or Hillary Swank rehearsing for the sequel to 'Boys Don't Cry'? It bothered me. His outfit did not reveal any clues to me. His mannerisms and voice could go either way. So of course the song ends and it is the one time that big booming voice does not come on and say who the performer was. I was disturbed by this whole thing.I keot watching and low and behold the little guy won an awatd and they announced his name. He gave the worst speech and waved like a prom queen on her float. The whole thing really bothered me for some reason. Then Marilyn Manson came out and performed and everything seemed all right and back ot normal .

Billy is so multitalented that I am amazed at how far this kid has come in so short a time. There are many country musicians out there who have been at this for years and have not achieved this much success. I only hope Billy keeps a humble heart and doesn't let fame turn him into a brat. Tears came to my eyes the first time I heard 'One Voice'. I am a 22yo singer/actress, and I would have to say, Billy Gilman is one the most talent kids I've ever heard! Billy Gilman is talented.I only knew about billy while watching Channel [V] one day i saw billys song video of warm and fuzzy and i just like thought "WOW"! I'm a 13 year old kid turning 14 on Jan 21 .AND IM FROM KUWAIT !Today i went on the web to check out other things on Billy on his site http://www.billygilman.com on that site i found out amazing stuff like he had 25 cents and a piece of bubblegum in his pocket one day.No just joking i actualy found that i was actually listening to his songs for years now since in my grandma;s house (where we celebrate christmas every year)anyway one day my grandma came home on christmas day and brought a pile of cd's just like kixed songs from them we listened to jingle rock first went through some other songs by some other artists then when we came up to rockin around the christmas tree i really had started like the song .Billy is very very cute i suppose and also very photogenic as licky.When i listen to billys songs it just inspires me. Unlike most of the people in this group, I'm 38 and just want to say, Billy Gilman is one of the most talented and humble performers I've seen in a very long time. Don't worry about puberty, the voice may change range but the ability and talent stays. If anyone listens to Michael Jackson when he was a small kid, you heard the talent then. When he got older, he became a superstar. Billy will do the same. Also, with his style of singing, he has the ability to cross into pop music very easily and I suppose he will. I live in Hollywood CA. and have known stars all my life. I went to school with them. One thing I recognize is, Billy is being raised by a good family. As he gets more popular, he'll need to keep his head. So far, so good. Keep it up Billy. See you at the top.

I don't mean to be rude but the kid hasn't hit puberty yet, I think there should be some kind of age limit on when kids can get a record contract. Does anyone else see that this kid will not likely be around in a year or two.

I never liked country music but I do like to support kids. Billy's "One voice" was being played on the top 40 stations so I went out and bought his cd. I listened to the whole thing and fell in love with it. My family thinks I'm crazy. When I saw Billy's "Classic Christmas" I bought it no question. Listening to it makes my heart sing and my soul at peace. He has an angelic voice and great crescendo. His version of "Angels we have heard on high, and O Holy Night" are inspiring. I hope the best for him in life!!!
