Every now and then he says something remotly funny

Every time I hear one of his bits I am amused. I am not a huge Chris Rock fan, but the guy is just plain funny. You can't knock a guy when he makes you laugh.

The worse comedian. Hes just nasty.

c'rock seems to have potential, but often falls short. however, he takes chances and i like that. plus he takes dirty cheap shots at famous people which should be encouraged at all costs. famous people are highly overrated.

He is an awesome performer with some great material, but only one thing bothers me and that is his need to pepper it with such language. I can excuse him as I did Redd Foxx because this is what they grew up around.

Chris Rock is one of numerous comedians who are what I think of as - "almost funny". He starts out strong but soon lapses into an angry and abrasive mode, which alienates a portion of the audience right off the bat. His delivery is jerky and he seems to try too hard without ever really hitting the mark. Like so many of the "almost funny" comics, he relies too much on done-to-death righteous anger topics settling for the cheap un-easy laugh. I can only suspect he may have the talent to do better, but will more than likely never let us in on it.

Where do you find the humor in listening to a vulgar public demonstration of the inability to formulate an intelligent and congruent thought without cussing? Not to mention his raspy, I want to be a cartoon character, voice is just plain annoying. It’s like you took Eddie Murphy and Gilbert Gottfried, put them in a bag, shook it up and out comes Chris Rock. I’m sure his mother is proud every time she hears him open his foul mouth. And for those who say if you don’t like it don’t listen, I don’t.

Crude, rude, and selfish to people. He makes a fool out of himself, and should be arrested because of what he says about famous people. Sad, sad man.

Chris Rock's comedy is very similar to Eddie Murphy's. His black humor is awesome. I'm not black, but I still feel as if he is directing his comments to me. Again, his voice and the way he carries himself (stage presence) is a huge factor which makes him funny. He is different from other stand-up guys, he can act! And not just act, he does it well!

He's funny because he holds nothing back. He talks about "tossing salads" and all that nasty stuff and makes it funny. He also knows how to use porfanity to lift his comedy.

His shows are funnier than the other comedians shows. His content is tough, straight to the point with bold language. His bold language is the key to his success, not like other comedians who care about their language which makes the show not funny enough.

Chris Rock rocks! What can I say? He's not afraid to tell it like it is, that's what makes him so funny. He has realistic humor.

He is not only funny but a very talented comedian who knows what jokes work for each type of audience. He is not afraid to be different than other comedians and also he is great at standup.

He's similar to Martin Lawrence but more witty. He's funny but not hilarious. I like his style of comedy, however, I like Lawrence better because he is more off the wall.

He is a funny guy, he has a funny smile, and he talks hella smack to everybody. He has enough job security to afford to talk smack to whomever he wants.

He is very witty. His jokes are funny and the swearing works well in his routines, whereas it doesn't for some.

He has his own totally original style. He does not sugarcoat any of his jokes for anyone. When he has an opinion, he'll say it no matter who it may disturb. Even though he sticks to his style of loud, obnoxious profanity, he always manages to leave a positive message in his comedy.

I think his comedy is cutting edge, bold-faced, and thoroughly refreshing. He is an artist among comedians. I think his comedy is great because he used good analogies and has a mind for topics that matter. I think his comedy is honest, bold and extremely funny.

Kind of an Uncle Tom, but none the less a comedic genius. He's a bit like Eddie Murphy because he's black, but other than that he's different.

This guy is freaking hilarious. His perspective, mixed with delivery make him one of the most recognized comedians around.

Mr. Rock appears to be taking the same route that Martin Lawrence took, start out very funny and demonstrate to the world your (gift), then for some reason turn bitter and racist to the point of being unwatchable anymore. C'mon Chris, don't waste your huge comical talent on so much hate. That's why we depend on comics in the first place, to help deal with the cruel society we live in, comment on it, don't participate !
