Does clean family friendly comedy which is enough to get hated by the "cool folks" nowadays. I don't dislike off-color performers as long as the language fits the story or routine. Some of these people now just seem to use foul language because the modern audiences demand it. I could take my parents or kids to a Sinbad concert and not have to fear a stream of mindless obscenities to spoil the evening. A very funny guy. I wish he was on the tube more often.

Clean, non-offensive, non-threatening comedy that is quite forgettable.

To me he's kind of a black Henny Youngman.
And that's not a compliment.

Not funny.

I hate Sinbad. So glad he isn't on TV as much anymore, but the fact that he is still around makes me uncomfortable, and very angry.

Saw him hear in Tucson in 2006. I had seen him sporadically over the years, and he was moderately humourous. He got political, but eversoslightly, and with humor. But, like many of the callers have said on here, in person, he is funny, and does not lower himself to vulgarity. Saw Damon Wayans here last summer, he too, was funny, but clean would be a huge stretch. Too each his own. That said, it was refreshingly enjoyable, and I hadnt even known of his reputation for being a clean comedian. HATS OFF!! Good job man.

Funny, no swearing, and a great family comedian. Overstates at times.

completely unfunny, but not as bad as jackie mason

I totally agree with Plumpbottom40. Unfortunately today's comedy material consists of mainly profanity and crude humor about sex. What's the deal? You do not have to be vulgar to be funny. As a matter of fact, there are a lot of us out there who are turned off by such language. I remember when Sinbad won Star Search, and I wish he would come out with more videos. Way to go Sinbad!!!! AAAA+++++

Sinbad is not the type of comedian to have a lot of social commentary and insight, but he is always funny. I enjoy Eddie Murhpy as much as anyone, but I really respect Sinbad for being absolutely hilarious without swearing. Seriously, the worst word in any of his shows is 'ass', which isn't even a curse word anymore. He has a childlike way of looking at the world and is never mean or racist or divisive. Good man, Sinbad is.

I appreciate Sinbad not only for his comedic ability, but also because he could get huge laughs without ever swearing. A feat which is growing even more rare among comedians every day. Watch some of his specials on Comedy Central and see for yourself.

I love this man's brand of humor! This man can tell jokes for two hours straight and say NOT ONE CURSE WORD and keep everyone in stitches! Cosby's influence definitely shines through in his routines! I might get stoned alive for saying this but this man is much more deserving of stardom than Seinfeld! I'd take Sinbad over that guy any day!

I never really liked Sinbad until I saw him do a private performance for Nortel Networks - most of the show was improve and Sinbad dominated the stage and really lead the audience. Like him or not, he's got serious talent.

He's a laugh-until-you-cry comedian. I can watch his routines over and over and still enjoy them as though for the first time. I also appreciate the fact that he never resorts to low brow humor ... always a sign of talent.

He's hella funny because he talks about things that viewers can relate to. He also has the timing of when to throw in a joke and knows how to recover from a bad joke.

A comedian without a doubt who is hilarious is Sinbad. He uses life experience as his comedic material. A comedian I grew up watching who is still as funny as hell.

He is a great, outstanding, comedian. He is able to tell jokes on comedy shows and be on television. He can take a subject of any nature and make it funny. Only a great comedian can accomplish something like that.

Am I the only one who is physically incapable of watching Sinbad? As soon as he appears on the TV, my palms start to sweat, my face breaks out in hives, and I completely lose control of my bowels. I've lost three girlfriends because of this. Damn you Sinbad!

He's just not funny. I saw him on Star Search when I was a boy. Who would of ever thought he'd get past that.
