blink-182 rules and they always will rule

There are at least three other punk bands who went to my high school who sound JUST like these guys, but they're somehow worshipped as geniuses for sounding like thousands of other groups of teenagers who know how to play 3 chords in 4/4 time. If that's not overrated then I don't know what is!!!

this is a dumb ass band who can't keep their clothes on. they think they're so cool and they really aren't punk, they just wish they were. if you want to listen to real punk i suggest the ramones, the sex pistols, swingin utters, bouncing souls, the misfits, etc. etc. but in my opinion, blink 182 sucks. (and its irksome how people always call them "blink"-- blink is a completely different band from some place like ireland) and Wtbyan how the hell can you compare this band to zack de la rocha, the passionate ex-singer of the best band in the world rage against the machine?! blink 182 has no passion other than goddamn sex.

These guys are having a ball and it shows in their music. They are basically a garage band with enough talent to get famous. They act as if they can't believe it themselves and they are having fun while it lasts. They make fun of everyone, but in a funny way. I am never offended by their videos, just amused. And Travis Barker is one of the best drummers to come along in years.

Blink 182 is the best freakin band in the world and i think that 2.75 is a lame rating for them i think you need to re-check and give them 5!

A lot of people say that Blink's lyrics suck, and that they have no meaning, I have only one thing to say "I never thought I'd die alone, I'd laughed the loudest who'd of known" If you don't think that means anything, well, you are just plain stupid.

Blink-182 is an awesome band. They sound so incredible live! Anybody that says that they turned pop is a total sh*thead!!!!!! I mean come on! Their stuff is definetely punk. "Enema of the State" is an ok album, but yeah, it is more poppy than some of their old stuff. They just needed to make it a little more radio-friendly so they could get their name out there. Their new album is going to be a lot more punk. They are without a doubt, the greatest, coolest pop-punk band out there right now

I liked them a lot until they sold out and now they are more like a boy-band then a true punk rock band. Mark and Tom are still hot, though. They're also funny as hell.

Poser crap that needs to go away!!! This ia not punk at all. Its for people who want to think they are punk because they listen to crap like this and Rancid, MXPX, NoFX. If you want to listen to real punk, listen to the Sex Pistols, old Blondie stuff, The Ramones, Dead Kennedys, Trailer Trash UK and more. The kind of people that listen to this dye their hair red and think they are a punk, not knowing what its about. This "punk music" is f*%$*@% crap!!!

I love Blink-182 especially travis everybody that says that their lyrics suck and that there music sucks to are stupid cuz at least they actually make their own music and make their own lyrics not like nsync and backstreet and Christina agulara and all those other fakes!!

Blink has been my favofite band for a long time. The reason so many other people like them is because of how laid back and funny they really are. Some people think they've sold out but i think they are still total punkers!Their music is fun, and so are they.Long live the blink boys!! I LOVE BLINK 182.and thats all i have to say about that.

Hehehe.....can't help but love a band who can make videos in the nude, mock Britney Spears and still keep the crowd listening to them with serious ears. I love them.

Punk or not, those guys are awesome and totally adorable. And for all of those out there who think that they are here today and gone tomorrow, you're wrong! They have been here for years and are going to continue to be here! And if you don't like them so much then that's your problem for being an uptight loser with no sense of humor!

i live for blink-my four year year old daughter lives for blink. who really cares if you think they are punk are not. the point is that their music is fun, happy and very easy to dance to. LONG LIVE BLINK!!!

I know a lot of people think Blink 182 sold out, but I love their music. Though their songs can be harder sometimes, come of their songs can be relaxing and sad like, "Adam's Song." That's my favorite. All their songs send a special message.

I think that they have decent voices and lyrics but have absolutely no knowlage of how to play a musical instrument. I agree with medgar evers on most of it but i cant keep myself from humming adam's song occasionally. If you want good music of the present times look at either mustard plug or less than jake.

DUde..I agree with PUnkbitch..and all the other punks. Who cares if they never grow up???? WOuld you rather live young>? Or old..???? Plus, the are funny! That's just their image, and your gonna have to except it!!! I mean, I kinda like Blink, but I've b een listeting to punk a long time. And trust me, Blink is Punk. Becuz their old stuff..like "damnit", dude..and their lyrics, they are straight up punk. And the lyrics are meaningful, like Man Overboard. And other songs. I mean some are just funny. But they are seen as "alternative" becuz they had a huge hit on the charts, and their comical behavior seems to block out their true meaning. I really don't see what's wrong with them. Becuz I have all their albums. But being comincal is their image. And if they didn't have avideo for all the small things, you would consider more of them. Alternative is like 3rd Eye Blind...you know...and Blink don't sound ANYTHING like them, do they?? Well..we all have our opinions, but mine is that this band that has been around for like almost a decade..dude..they just rock.

Blink is an okay band. I like their song All The Small Things, but it seems to me nowadays you don't really have to have talent to be in the music business!! You just have to be able to talk fast and shout loud and you're a shoe-in!! Well that just plain sucks!! I'm only 13 and I'm a music lover and some of the songs that Blink write are okay but I would hardly call what they produce "music"!!

Blink is a really rad band. People dont like them cuz they are different and not Mr Nsync or the gay Backstreet boys. I dont think they are going to go away soon, which is good. And there live shows are hella sweet too.

ok i got some comments for a few of the people who made comments on blink (magellan and shafty). you guys obviously dont know your blink stuff cuz they have been around since bout the early 90's and just this year they came out with a new album which you all probably know. so obviously you're not gonna get rid of them as fast as u think..they are just different from britney spears and them who make an album every friggin year or something. they just space theirs out over a few years so they can come back and be better then before. although i must say that enema of the state is NOT their best album. would u guys do me a favor? go out and pick up chesire cat, buddha, or dude ranch when they were more punk and less pop..or just download some songs from them just to see that they havent always been "sellouts". so im just sayin that, yea, maybe they are a little bit pop now but who cares? o and medgar evers...cut the crap...u sound like a 50 year old man!! yea so what they are a little immature..who cares? thats what makes them good! they are hilarious to people our age because we can relate to all of the stupid and perverted things that they are saying!! and have u ever actually listened to any of their good stuff??

Funny empty songs with no good lyrics

Their music is ok but they r too commerical trendys or people who try to dress sk8er or rock where their band stuff because they aren't very heavy and their music is a bit on the poppy side!! but fair play to the guys!!!

The only reason I'm giving these guys a 2 instead of a 1 is because of Adam's Song. Anything else is just pure crap.

Catchy, yet surprisingly bad, music. They will disappear like many of the other mediocre bands of the late 90's (see third eye blind).

THE WORST EVER!!!

I've thought these guys were cool for a long time, and I think they're music career is great. But, what gave me a lot of respect for them was when, at Woodstock, Dexter Holland stopped and said something about the way people were treating girls in the mosh pit. For any artist to take the time to do something like that(Zack De La Rocha and Flea also did) is really cool.

Weeezer of the late 90s?!!! Where is Weezer now? I do not know - but I bet Blink 182 will be right there with them in about 4 years. Bu the wau - I loved Weezer and think these guys are fun too. I am just not too convinced of their staying power.
