Dave Matthews Band is the best group ever and I cant believe they have such a low rating! They are amazing! My favorite songs are "So Much to Say," "Stay," and many others.

The music sounds like it's coming from a guy who thinks he's cooler and funkier than he actually is. Although they have some decent songs, it's nothing to get excited about (their old stuff or their new stuff). Sometimes it does just sound like "lame fratboy jazz"...

Awesome band! They are so much different than the rest of those popular bands, and I like they're sound. Definately a positive addition to my CD collection.

I really do not like the music that this band puts out, but come on, nearly 50% of the voters have given the band a 1 star rating? I wish people would rate with their heads a little more as opposed to their loyalties or hearts or impressions of items. Like I said, I do not like the band enough to own any albums, see any of their shows or even keep a song of the band on the radio dial for more than a minute, but I can bring myself to say that they are an OK band.

this band is unique and really talented.. my sister has been a big fan of dave for a LONG time so i have heard a lot of his music, and i like a lot of his old rubbish cause its more unique (without the electric guitar, though i myself am more into rock.) so... yeah. they're pretty cool.

Dave Matthews Band is pretty good. They do an awesome job of fusing many totally different styles of music together. Although some of their stuff can get kind of weird, they still are a pretty visionary band.

Ok, DMB is innovative. How often do you hear a saxophone and a violin in a rock song. Everyone that hates them should at least try to check them out live!!!

DMB is good. I love those jokers, but it is still too soon to tell when it comes to the five star rating. But four, yes, I can live with that easy. Check out their double CD, live. He does garble his lyrics a bit. But he delivers on Sanatana's Supernatural with "Love of My Life" You go, Dave.

Someone's head has gotten a bit big lately, dontcha think? Every time I turn on the radios...there they are! Its like a nonstop broken record! Thr only song I can now tolerate by them is 'Crash", because it hasn't been played to death. Other than that....no thanks.

As was said before, those that say Dave Matthews Band is over played and just a fad, get some taste. They are here to stay thank god! With all of the crap out there like boy bands and that crappy rap-rock, they are a breath of fresh air. Every song is unique and the lyrics are deep and they don't piss you off and put you in a bad mood. They are the best band today and may be ever. Not to take anything from Led Zeppelin. If you don't like them, see them live and I guarantee you will change your mind. They don't have a stunt filled stage show because there music is all you need. And that's what it's all about. Dave kicks ass!

The range of talent is so vast! They are all amazing in their own aspects. Perhaps more amazing, is the fact that this music is not only for teenagers or the middle aged- it appeals to so many different people.

What's the big deal? They're a rock band! Nothing new!

Ok, first of all to everyone who rated dave down... what better talent can you ask for? And as for the overplayed part...that's completly false. I cant even remember the last time I heard DMB on the radio besides his new hit single "I Did It" which is amazing by the way. The blend of the sax, the violin, the bass, the amazing beat of the drums, and the outstanding guitar playing by Matthews creates an absolutely original band. I mean, I like other music, but to everyone who rated DMB low....if you dont have anything nice to say, then dont say anything at all. Thank you.

I seen Dave Matthews Band live at Albany, Ny and it was the best concert I have ever seen.

First of all to "Heebus" and all you other closed minded talentless idiots: Dave is one of the most creative, most inspiring bands out there today. The types of people who dislike this amazing band are the people who have NO musical talent whatsoever and are listening for the song to snap them in the A$$ the first time they hear it. If you knew ANYTHING about music, you would know that it takes so much more to make a song than a catchy title and lyrics.It takes a groove, and an ear for rhythm and tunes. It takes feeling in your soul, not just spewing out lyrics that are so monotonous that they become one of the 10 most overplayed songs in history. OBVIOUSLY "heebus" you are an aspiring wannabe musician with no talent and NO future Words of Wisdom? Quit while your ahead.

Anyone who doesn't like the music of Dave Matthews Band probably hasn't actually listened to it!! You have abviously fallen into the trap, that if a band does not have a crazy stage show and bright flashy lights, then he must suck right! Wrong; as a group of musicians doing what they do best, Dave Matthews Band is the most talented touring rock band to appear in the last ten years. He does compare to Hendrix but he is the best around right now, and with a new album around the corner shows no signs of stopping.

I don't understand how people can say that they are overplayed. I hear them on the radio about once every few months. And secondly, is that the band's fault?

The Dave Mathew's Band is the best group of musicians I have ever heard. Dave's unique style of guitar playing and improvization captivate me. The other band members shine in their own spotlight, with melodic solos that take me on a journey. In my opinion, this is one of the greatest bands of our times. Every great band throughout history has had their own sound, and the Dave Mathew's Band falls right into place.

Lyrically and musically strong, DMB is by far the most talented combination of performers around. I spend hours a day listening to them at work and never get bored. Their music is good for all occasions--making out, working out, and hanging out. Dave knows how to sooth the soul.

DMB is the best band I have ever listened to. I have never ben moer into anybody's music and sound. They are a unique group, with a sound you can't hear anyowhere else. If anyone, even dares to say they are overplayed, please turn on the radio. You MIGHT hear dave matthews, if you are lucky, but will rather be barraged with countless rounds of Britney Spears, N'Sync, Backstret boys, and other annoying groups. If anything, Dave Matthews SHOULD be overplayed on the radio, not those one-hit wonder teeny bopper bands. DMB continues to release one incredible album after another, and I hope they continue to do so long into the future. Thank god, for DMB.

I think that Dave Matthews Band is one of the greatest bands out. His music is truelly inspiring. You can get something out of each of his songs. I think that he is really mistaken by people. I don't think that people actually sit down and listen to his music. But he is my absolute favorite.

Wiil it ever stop??? All the consant overplayed noodly soloing by everyone reminds me of competing hamsters on wheels. Old Davey-Boy's meandering lyrics spewing oversensitive limp-wristed twittering vocals always seem to do the job better than sleeping pills. Lame frat-boy jazz.

Dave Matthews band is extremely talented. Their music comes up through my toes, to my ankles, to my head and to my soul and I'm blown away. Ha Ha For those of you who are complaining about Dave's music being played out-what are you listening to because I hardly ever hear him on radio stations or in stores. And his songs being played out is not his fault and should not discredit his talent(he even complains publicly that some of his songs are played out-haha). And for those who have grown tired of him-thats because you have changed into a person who does not value good music. Come on, his lyrics are amazing, loving (they're dedicated to his family), unique and so well written that there are still theories developing about many of the songs' interpretations. The musical talent of the other members combined with the diversity of the instruments themselves also kick ass! Oh, and they've been going strong since 1991 and have even carried over into the new millenium with sold out concerts-so I doubt that they are just a fad. And, besides, Dave's Hot!

DMB plays music that will just make you tingle all over. All band members are extremely talented .Their music is a refreshing break from extremely overplayed bands such as Vertical Horizons. Sure DMB is played on the radio but they save the best for their cd's.

DMB is better than great. Each band member is so incredibly talented. This band fills my eyes, ears and mind. Those who feel they are overplayed need to take the time to listen to their full CDs and see just how amazing they are.

Dave Matthews has been around for quite some time and seems to get better as the years pass. He is an amazing musician with a unique (albeit a bit strange) voice and an obvious gift for creating and making music. His acoustic performances with Tim Reynolds are fantastic. Love the Live at Luther College and Red Rocks albums. His band is fabulous in big live concerts...the fiddler is fantastic and on fire when he solos. "Crush" is one of my favorites, as are "Seek Up" and "Warehouse". DMB is hard not to like...my dad loves them, too.
