"A Rush of Blood to the Head" was the best album I bought in 02. These guys are great.

The band's first CD, "Parachutes" was absolutely mind blowing. Chris Martin's voice is unnervingly perfect. The lyrics are moving, and the music itself (the guitar, piano, bass) blends in perfectly with them. All in all, one of the best bands of the century. Each song in the CD is deep and guaranteed to make you think.

I really am surprised that Coldplay are still so low on this list considering their songs have been used in loads of American dramas, such as 'Young Americans'. I absolutely love this band, a beautiful vocalist and guitar music that sends shivers up your spine and gives you goosebumps. I really am looking forward to their second album (whenever thats going to be) My ex dedicated 'Yellow' to me and said that whenever he heard it, he thought of me, especially the line 'For you I'd bleed myself dry, I'd bleed myself dry.....' Always makes me feel wistful whenever I hear it now.

Okay band, if you're looking for something middle of the road, average, pleasant, non-confrontational. Luckily, I was, and enjoyed the soothing and catchy sounds of Coldplay. Give it a miss if you want to listen to something that your parents wouldn't approve of.

Emotive at its best, this album deserves a good listen. The first time i saw them they were supporting "Muse" at The Barra's, Glasgow, Scotland, and i thought, wicked, their pretty damn good. "Trouble" is one for when the girl dumps you, "Shiver" and "Yellow" are uplifting. Give it a try wise guy.....

I have to be honest i don't really watch much of MTV because i think it is horrible and frankly sucks. But I was flicking threw channels and passed MTV and ColdPLay caught my attention wit their Video for "yellow", after i heard the song i rushed over to my computer and downloaded the song and looked for sites and found bunch of songs and looked at the lyrics and downloaded songs which lyrically i felt were good and i was not dissappointed at all. I think this weekend im going to go out and by their Parachutes album. This is for sure an excellent band and hopefully will get better and better as time passes.

Easy to listen to but very one paced. Shiver is an excellent song.

I was a little sceptical at first, having listened to only one of their songs, but I thought I would go out, buy it and hope it was better than I expected. I was not dissapointed. There are not many EPs that you can say you don't have to skip one song, but 'parachutes' is one of them. Hopefully 'Coldplay' will get better and better.
