Posers, but they tricked a bunch of people into thing Semi=Charmed life was a optimistic, happy song about life....when it was really about a junkie stuck in a vicious, never-ending crapfest. SO they get stars for that.

Good songwriting. Bad live performances. It's possible they could have just had a lousy sound crew, but I've never heard of a good performance by them. They know how to entertain and write great music, but they sound horrible on stage.

I grow weary of Jenkins' monotonous voice at times, but the collective talent of this band is undeniable. "God of Wine," "Crystal Baller," "Losing a Whole Year," and "How's It Gonna Be" are excellent examples of this talent. Highly recommended.

That these tone-deaf fools are world-famous as musicians is merely another sad commentary on music today. That Stephan Jenkins got to give the valedictory address for Berkeley English '87 is, however, an atrocity.

third eye blind, a pretty good band...there first hits, in there '97 self-titled album, semi-charmed life and jumper...there second album, blue was successfull with never let you go and deep inside of you... they were a huge late 90's hit... their most recent album, released in '03 out of the vein had the songs blinded and crystal baller which both are great songs but they soon lost popularity on the radio...third eye blind is an overall good band that had great success.

I know they were big in the 90s, but I can't remember a single one of their songs. Radio filler.

i'll say they are sort of underrated.....they're very good in a small venue....first album is great.....check out some of their songs that haven't been killed by radio like slow motion and motorcycle driveby

Their newest album, Out of the Vein, is a great album. They have so much energy and all of their songs are full of meaning. I agree with InRepair, most people do base their opinions off of what they hear on the radio. While Blinded (when I see you) and Crystal Baller are what you are hearing on the radio, they have much better songs. In my opinion, Another Life and Bad Company are two of their best songs, but you don't hear them anywhere but on the CD's. Give the band a chance and you might find theyare a really good band

I like this band alot. I thought all their radio releases were awesome. they are truly talented musicians. they play their instruments really well. however recently i bought their self titled debut and i wasn't too impressed. i think i have to listen to it more and get used to the other songs. anyway overall they kick a$$!

They started off strong w/ semicharmed kind of life, but i've not been real impressed since then. jumper was nice until the radio stations wore it out.

Their earlier material is a little bit better. Still putting out some decent music, though.

Most of the people who put down 3eb haven't heard what they can do. They hear the radio songs and think "they suck" and they never even give the band a real try. Don't overlook this band. They are a bunch of hard working, sweet, guys with two increadible CD's under their belt. I suggest people take a listen to the following songs; Self titled CD: I want you (which is currently being covered by Alana Davis),God of Wine, Motercycle Drive By, Narcolepsy, London....(I love all the songs though) Blue:Wounded,Deep Inside of You, Farther, Darkness. All their songs are great! I am looking forward to a third album from this group of talented men.

Stephan Jenkins, putting it lightly, is a genius. Perhaps the single most talented man in rock today, creating brilliant storylike songs with several layers featuring broad instrumentation. Third Eye Blind is the best Pop Rock band on Earth, with songs that are different and hard enough to be appealing, but melodic enough to make you want to sing along.

This is by far the best band that I have ever heard!! Their music reaches fans in a way that no other band has been able to do. They really reach out and cover the moods that no other band does. And the way they do it in is truly unique. The lyrics are strong, and the melody and percussion only add to the rising and falling emotions in each song. A versitile and wonderful band that will always be my favorite.

I liked them until I saw them open for U2. Good CHRIST!! They can't sing a single note on key. They're horrid and they shouldn't be allowed to be within fifty feet of ANY studio.

Third Eye Blind rocks...if there is ever a band to possibly cover every mood that someone might be feeling...it's 3eb. They rock....almost every song off both albums. And to top it off...they have so much energy live they just put on an excellent show. Enough said.

Is it possible that Third Eye Blind, Matchbox 20, and Blink 182 are all actually the same band?
