This band only has one good song   that I like, and that would be "Be Like That" from their 1999 album ( The song is 5 stars in my opinion ).  Other than that, I don't know...

I love them...I've seen them in concert and it was a great show!

Corporate rock.

It look a collaboration with Bob Seger to give these guys one decent song (which ironically was underplayed and underrated). Most of their stuff is cheap, unoriginal and uninspired.

They're obviously geared toward chicks and not dudes. I just don't like their style dudes, not enough rock.

Tantalus and Sisyphus got off easy compared to rock music listeners of today. Pitiful in comparison to not only the greats, but the below average rock acts of any period and any genre.

A very good Band. I think their First album was the best,2nd pretty good , and the last...well only herd one song off of it pretty good so far

The rhythmic guitar is really good at his thing, I like his arpeggios at the beginning of Here Without You or Be Like That, and they sometimes have a lot of intensity but not much else seperates them from the average rock band. When I'm Gone is a very good song, though

I love Here Without You. It's a very beautiful song and I like the violins and strings in it.

This band is okay, but they are seriously overplayed and overrated. They're not that good. Sure their lyrics have well-meaning but they don't have that unique sound that differentiates them from the rest of the bands.

The sound so great live and 'Away From The Sun' does not have a bad song on it. They have a lot of hits from their two albums, I can't wait for their third.

Please do NOT make me listen to anymore of this OVERPLAYED band. Everytime I turn the radio on, some DJ is spinning this garbage. I HATE IT. Very boring, and dull to say the least. All of this music sounds the same. If you mix 3 Doors Down with Creed, Smash Mouth, Matchbox 20 and so many others, you wouldn't even be able to tell them apart. Please, can someone make the rock industry change for the better? We are in such a dull period right now.....

I personally love 3 doors down. Their music is not intended to offend anyone. If you don't like it, leave it to the rest of their fans to enjoy. There is nothing like a 3 doors down live show. Their lyrics are genious, and to anyone who doesn't like them, get over it, they are here to stay!!

Their first album was actually pretty damn good and showed that depsite their very heavy Pearl Jam influence, this band actually had a lot of talent. However, their new album is more generic and pop-oriented, making them less distinguishable from the likes of Creed, Nickelback, etc.

I can take it or leave it, but it's still better than 85% of what you hear on any given radio station.

Great band. And their new cd is probably one of the best new albums to come out in a while. New good music is rare nowadays, but 3 doors down is helping to renew my faith in the industry.

i wonder if it's just a coincidence that Brad Arnold sounds like a rip-off of the guy from Our Lady Peace, who isn't exactly great either? A few months ago I probably would have given them two stars, but now, that would be doing them too big a favor, mainly because of the atrocity "When I'm Gone" that has been on VH1's Top 20 Countdown for weeks (WHY?!) A very obvious ploy for the top of the charts, which I have no respect for. In exactly the right mood, I can manage to enjoy Kryptonite, but I have no respect for a band that uses that kind of disgusting strategy for the top of the charts. Ever heard of integrity, guys?

Jesus Christ I hate this band.

They don't have a knock-your-socks-off sound. They're just there. Plus, they haven't been around that long to truly assess them.

they're pretty cool... but they're easy to get tired of.

I never heard much of their music, but I loved "Kryptonite".

'The Better Life' refelcts the thoughts of many people being held down by someone. I definately can relate to that CD and I love it.

Three doors down is one of the few bands out there know that actually have any talent!

Talk about talented! These guys are the best new band on the scene today. I think their music is really incredible. They sound NOTHING like Matchbox 20. Matchbox 20's lead singer (I forget his name) has a voice that sounds like a cat getting run over by a truck. And Matchbox 20's music is much slower and whinier (I'd call it "pu$$y rock). You can't even call Matchbox 20 a rock band- they play adult contemporary. I love 3 Doors Down and I think you'd be an idiot to compare them to Matchbox 20.
