A4.5. very good movie. A young boy lives in Mexico with his grandmother. His mother lives in Los Angeles. she is sending money to her nine year old son and mother and trying to earn enough money to bring her son Carlitos to L.A. with her. when the grandmother dies suddenly the boy finds a couple who sneaks children over the border. He hits a lot of problems along the way and also makes friends{he is a very charming little boy} he wants to get to his mother by Sunday. this is the day she calls him in mexico from a pay phone in L.A.she has no address he can trace her to since she is here illegally. so Carlitos has to track down the exact payphone location she has described to him. the mother Rosario has no idea her son is on his way to her since the only communication is that Sunday phone call. she only found out the day before when a woman from Mexico finds a way to call Rosario to let her know about Carlitos and her mother dying. very nice touching movie.not preachy or tries to endorse illegal immigration yet i find myself hoping for this youngster to find his mom he has not seen in four years. the movie is spoken in spanish about 95 percent. {good captioning}
