Ray Feist is, in my humble opinion, one of fantasy's greatest authors. He knows his craft very well, from all aspects, from character development to handling the english language. Unlike many other authors who begin with a good world then get bogged down in repetitive plot lines or cloned characters, REF has shown an excellent skill at keeping things fresh and exciting. If you're any sort of fantasy fan, I would say that his books should most certainly be in your library.

Feist develops the best and most in-depth world. He brings you into the story and gives many details. The characters are expansively developed and it is easy to grow attached to them.

I think Ray Feist is one of the most original and thought provoking authors of today. Ive read everyone of his books, and they are always a great adventure :)
