05/04/2007 | Again, there is a huge difference between this as played at the Olympic level, and futzing around with fat uncle Ralph at the family picnic.

12/03/2004 | My family has a badmitton tournament every year at the fourth of July. Me and my cousin always pair up and take the whole thing. The only other people who would give us any competition are a couple of uncles who aren't as young as they used to be and my female cousins who make more of a habit of squabbling over points than playing well.

06/03/2003 | Okay, okay, it takes skill- but how many of you giggle when you watch olypmic badminton players being 'serious' while playing? How can you look that intense while hitting a rubber-knob-thing-that-looks-like-a-feather?

11/18/2002 | I loved playing this at school - it was the only sport that I played where my teachers were actually impressed with me as I had a particularly nasty serve. This game takes concentration and skill - and it is a lot of fun, especially when you mess up and you can have a good laugh.
My flatmate has promised me that we will go to a sports centree and play this - I think he just wants to see me in a pair of shorts!

10/21/2001 | Absolutely! I usually consider myself athetically-impaired but I keep getting better at Badminton. It's so much fun to just whack that birdie. I've just got to get into the habit of using my wrist more. Badminton is easy to set up, a blast to play.

04/06/2001 | My daughter and I were wandering around Walmart looking for stuff to spend money on (by the way, why do we always look for stuff to buy at Walmart, even when we don't need it? And I know I'm not the only one). ANYWAY back to the subject. I just grabbed the badminton set cause it was such a good price and thought she might enjoy it if I could trick her into playing. Now I can't get her to stop. It's always, "hey mom let's play badminton" At first I thought she just punishing me for buying it, but she really loves it, cause she tortures her friends with too. In all honesty, it is fun albeit, much more exercise than I require.

04/03/2001 | Now here's a game that's loads of fun to play when you're a kid!! Although I haven't played badminton since I was probably 14, I suppose it doesn't do much for adults. But as a kid, I remember having a blast when I played this game with all the neighbor kids.
