worst. movie. ever. no, seriously. contrived + scare tactics + computers = fail. you can get this nightly on your local news in expose format. I miss the days of Hackers (circa 1994?) when even though everything about computers and the interwebs was vastly inaccurate, at least it glorified the user instead of beating down the entire premise of technology and user participation. I'm sure huge media conglomerates like Sony Pictures (or Viacom) would LOVE if we believed their nonsense about the evils of YouTube, but seriously...trying to sell it to us as entertainment? I'm glad I didn't pay for it ;) (and that I multi-tasked my way through it instead of completely wasting ~2 hours of my life). Go ahead and keep on digging that hole deeper, guys, it's not gonna work.

interesting suspense movie. and scary to think this could actually happen. a woman{ diane Lane} works for this firm whose job is to track down cyber abusers. those who go online and do crimanal type things like hacking into personal accounts and stealing identity, or predators etc. the most recent concern is a sick person who starts up a site called "killwithme?" if someone logs onto this site they will see a victim tied up and is being murdered in a certain way.the more people that log on the quicker the victim is killed. now someone who logs on is helping to murder this person. word spreads around the world and more curious people are logging on to Watch this site. so far this man is "untraceable" and one of their own is fooled into meeting up with the killer and murdered.and eventually Jennifer {played by diane lane} is tracked down by the killer and caught at the end. won't reveal what happens to her. but a chilling movie.and frightening to think someone out there could actually do something so perverse. shows the evil side of being on the internet. thank goodness I do not know if anything like this really happening.but scary to think of it.
