I really liked this one...... I love the graphics..... lots of detail! You gotta admit, trying to make a real movie out of a cartoon is always going to be a task...

This was a great movie based much on the old series of the cartoon show from Sam Whittwicky to the AllSpark.

As big and dumb as a movie can come, surpassed for vapid entertainment only by the sequel. Not even saved from the trash heap by the appearance of Meagan Fox, who frankly comes off more dynamic in the pages of Maxim than she does on the screen.

I thought it was pretty good. But then again I wasn't expecting a lot, as I had no idea how they would manage to turn Transformers into a decent movie. I was thoroughly entertained, and for me that goes a long way with a movie. The acting doesn't have to be great, the script doesn't have to be that great, and the special effects can be bad (they were actually decent in this one), but if I'm entertained for some reason, the movie is good enough for me.

Transformers the live action movie of 2007, was a hit. I consider Transformers, Aliens versus Predator 2, Spider-man 3, and Pirates of the Carribean: At World's end the best movies of 2007. that is what i think. Transformers 2 is in the works. I never really liked Transformers, because i judge to much. But when i saw the poster to it, i was so interested in seeing it. I have the two disc edition. and the prequel dvd called "Transformers: Beginnings" what do you think was the best movie or movies of 2007?

Not so bad, but still not a big quality movie (I'm not talking visual!) .

take into account that this isn't a tom clancy story, it's transformers.  it's about cars that turn into giant robots for crying out loud.  if you take that into consideration, you have yourself a pretty darn good movie. I don't think people went into this one expecting a great mind adventure. The action's great and the effects are amazing.  It's a little long, but you need the backstory. Sit back and relax, you get to watch a semi turn into optimus prime, and a friggin sweet camaro that you become oddly attatched too. and I like chevy's... so i didn't really mind the ad placements.

One word: Awesome!!!!!!!!!!

For the avid fan, mistakes made were irreperable:
1)Devastator was supposed to be Brawl
2)Scorponok was meant to be bigger
3)Flames on Optimus Prime (iffy)


For those new to the franchise, this might have been a good 2.5 hours of a movie. I know I enjoyed though I don't know if I can forgive the makers for their choices of the pace of the movie, the constant brand plugging of money hungry advertisers, and

2)Some storybuilding was done in the beginning
3)Sequels galore will arise for this franchise

Action-packed, some cheesy green humour, and more action is what this movie packs!

My favourite scene is by the Hoover Dam. I've been there, so its like fantasy meets reality for me. Its good enough to watch in the theatres, but owning it ain't bad either.

The movie that all 20-30 year old nerds like me have been waiting to see  . . . okay, so it probably only deserves a "2", but it's hard not to like it when it's a part of your childhood.

SYNOPSIS:  USAF gets stomped by big, mean machine.  Awkward teenage boy gets a f!@#$ing sweet Camaro that actually tries to help him hook up.  More alien machines show up and start taking the forms of very expensive product placement ads.  They all beat the crap out of each other over a little cube ( . . . for those of us who are fluent in nerd, the "allspark").

PROS:  It's a mindlessly, stupid fun summer movie.  Even the awkward teenage boy moments are funny.  And, you gotta admit, no matter how bad the storyline and the dialogue is, you're not there to see all that.  You're there to see a big ol' semi turn into Optimus Prime.  And it's cool.

CONS:  If you let your guard down and actually let your brain work at any point of the duration of the film, you'll realize that this is a really bad movie.  I mean, it's almost like they took Independence Day and changed "aliens" to "alien robots", minus the bad President's speech.  And the idiot fanboys in the theater, like the one that was sitting next to me, will be whipping out their cell phones and taking clips of the film.  But it's okay.  Because that Camero is freaking sweet.

OVERALL:  Sure, it's one big commercial, but so was the cartoon it was based off of.  It's just that it's selling way more expensive toys.  

MORAL OF THE STORY:   . . . I want my car to talk to me.  But, then again, it's a Saturn. It'll just probably nag me.  Nevermind.
