Personally, I believe Tom Cruise acts the exact same in EVERY movie he has ever done. And that is he over acts. Honestly, what fighter pilot do YOU know who has time to make coy little faces at his comrades every two seconds. What business man do YOU know who honestly slides around the house in whitey tighty and socks, giving that coy look every two seconds. None. And while Risky Business may have started the easiest Halloween costume ever trend for frat boys all around the country, I CRINGE every time I see his creepy face in a movie or on a magazine. His freaky little religion is all about publicity. The jumping on the couch thing? Don't even get me started. Poor Katie Holmes, she used to be cute and respectable til she married this nut job.

He's more of a movie star than an actor, per se. Know how you can tell? In every movie he plays a character that resembles - Tom Cruise (Tom Cruise the movie star that is, who knows what Tom Cruise the person is like). The character in Risky Business, Top Gun, Rain Man, The Colour of Money, A Few Good Men were all the same guy. The only time I found him interesting was in the one where he played the hit man and the guy who played Ray Charles was a cabbie.
