successful "Executioner" series, (Mack Bolan) whose editions now number over 200. These are action-oriented, purely escape-reading, designed for male readers, particularly those with a military background or frame of mind. The books remain very popular, with a number of different contributors since Mr. Pendelton passed away, but true to the original concept.
