Highly overrated self indulgent fat ass. Not good looking at all either.

The movie Selena is what made Jennifer Lopez famous. After making that movie she told everybody she could sing as well as act and then released her God-awful, ear wrenching album. Uuuhm, sorry J-HO, you can't act AND you can't sing. Anyone who told you that lied through their teeth! The major reason she got the part in Selena was because she fit perfectly in her clothes, other than that, she could NEVER compare. Selena had talent which J-HO greatly lacks. She has a nice body, yes, but her ass isn't going to stay up forever... it's a little thing called gravity. Bottom line is that she's a terrible actress and an even more horrible singer and she needs to stop.

First, she is the ugliest woman in Hollywood. Second, bad actress ! Third....GOD WHY HERE?

Has made the bad but not original mistake of believing her own publicity. Saw her in the Money Train and Outta Sight and actually liked her. The Wedding Planner and Maid in Manhatten were dire. She should have stuck with her distinctly more Latino roots rather than morphing into some black rapper's ho to get some street cred. Dump all the hangers on (and the crappy J-Lo monika), and get really real. And keep away from P-diddy - Always be suspicious of a man who's name sounds like a 2-year-olds description of going to the bathroom. Has some talent, if she wanted to use it in the right way, instead of trying to be the new Liz Taylor and starting her own man collection.

Uninteresting records, box office fodder films, fat arse, distinctly average looks, overtly bling-bling and phoney bull about her 'street' upbringing. A woman who makes Madonna look genius-like. I had to sit through 'The Wedding planner' once. Painful.The most boring film Ive ever seen.

Whoever told JLo she should start acting should be shot and then whatever money they have left should go to the people who had to suffer through JLo's films. (a.k.a. Gigli, Maid in Manhattan, Jersey Girl, Selena, Out of Sight, etc.)

Contrary to popular belief, Jennifer Lopez was once a decent, down to earth actress. I think she became famous way too fast after the movie Selena, and it just got to be too much for her or something. She is a royal pain in the neck now...

She's gross. She is physically capable of singing, dancing, and acting. However, none of the aforementioned qualities are executed in a decent fashion. They're done slightly less than mediocre at best! She gives hope to the not-so-talented hopefuls of the world, that they too may get rich and famous over their ass.

I'd like to know who told her she could sing - probably the same person who told her she could act. If I could get my hands on that person, I would make them pay for subjecting us to JLO mania for the past two years. I hope she gets really fat and realizes she's no one special and that absolutely no one cares about her.

The only movie that she was good in was Enough and even that was see-thru at times.

You can hate her for all the personal reasons you want...disagreeing with her lifestyle & such, but that doesn't change the fact that this beautiful, talented woman out performs & out works most of the people on the list above her!

Lopez's acting career has one saving grace... "Selena", where she portrayed the singer's tragically short life so well that Lopez (just barely) gets three stars instead of two.

Just a glorified piece of eye candy. When her body starts to age then we'll see how many of her "loyal" fans will stick around. When this happens she'll slowly slip into obscurity because she can't act or sing so she has nothing to fall back on.

I heard they broke up because Ben couldn't stand Jlo constantly farting the alphabet everywhere they went.

They could benefit tremendously from just 10% of your pennies. You know them. Jennifer Lopez shows that there is such a thing as too much celebrity. Both her acting and singing are quite mediocre in my opinion. She has to be careful with becoming too overexposed or else her value as a celebrity will burn out. Her persona is really the only reason why people have interest in her.

Her style is constantly the same. Its like she is in the same movie, different part, in everything that she does. She doesn't sing all that well either.

Not the greatest singer in the world but can you get sexier than jlo?

I will admit that JLo is a good actress and dancer, but when it comes to singing she SUCKS!!! When I hear her songs I wanna scream. Besides all her songs have to do with be real, c'mon JLo, the more you say this, the more you sound UNREAL and fake. I gave her 3 stars strictyly because of her acting and dancing. If she didn't have those she wouldn't even be famous, because her singing is the worst, and if she was, I would give her a negative 5!

JLo, is a terrible singer and terrible dancer. What keeps her going is her big stinking, spongey, spic ass. She is a easy peice of ass. She will go through a lot af men before she fades. I hope she saves and manages her money well for her sake, because she has no talent and her ass will not stay extra large and young forever. After she has passed through the hands of most of Hollywood's men they will kick her spic ass to the curb. There are too many other really beautiful real actresses and singers in Hollywood to pay any attention to her. So after men get finish using her stinking ass she is history. By the way at least Halle Berry can act and is really cute. I will give you one star because there is no where to put a zero.

Most of the women here simply hate JLo because she is wealthy, spectacular, confident, sexy, and enterprising. Of course her acting and singing are mediocre, but her sex appeal is what people are intrigued by. The women are all jealous of her, the young girls emulate her, and the guys worship her.

the one star that she deserves is for her danicing ability whcih is the only thing shes talented at. she cannot act and she cannot sing. she is way overrated and gets way too much publicity. cant wait til shes out of the news.

J-Lo can't act and she can't sing. But what she has are nicely packaged songs with great beats, and films that don't make you think - kind of that sugary, syrupy appeal. I like her music, and her movies are okay. But what I like most about her is the entertainment factor I get out of watching her THINK she can do these things. Plus, she is gorgeous (if she keeps her mouth shut - I have to deduct glamour points for her rough gehtto-accented voice) and always looks flawless. In fact, I have never seen any other performer who is always so camera-ready. I also give her credit for making-over Ben Afleck. She turned him into a complete stud overnight. Gym workouts and makeup did wonders for that guy. I don't have opinions on the longevity of their impending marriage, but it'll be fun watching them.

This is a classic example of how an actress or a singer should stay in his or her own genre unless they're Gene Kelly. Jennifer is a very attractive woman and very confident of herself, but I hate hearing how she bounces around to different men, taking them all on the rebound. And I hate the stories of how *everything* in her dressing room must be white, she must have flowers, a certain kind of wine, blah, blah, blah. I mean, come on, she's totally exploiting her own celebrity. The only thing I like about her is the fact that she chooses men to play opposite her who might not have gotten the chance to play that part. For example, she chose Jim Caviezel (wonderful, powerful actor) for "Angel Eyes" and she chose Billy Campbell to play her husband in "Enough".

This Latino has NO respect for Jennifer Lopez. The only movie she was in that I liked was Selena, and she was kind of playing herself, so I don't know how much stock you can put into this. Also, she openly admitted on a radio show that she does not give any money to any charities but then tries to "represent" Latinos. Look- if you try to represent, you have to give BACK to the community ( don't you have enough money?) and until you do, please SPARE me your "Jenny from the Block" Nonsense. No talent , arrogance, and falsely claims to "represent" Latinos. 1 star for me.

Pluses (+): A good performance in "Angel Eyes", "Anaconda" and a mexmorizing performance in "Selena". Minuses (-): Definately overrated- has not done enough in Hollywood and is very far from superstardom in my view.
