She's an incredible actress. Has a combination of intelligence, beauty and vulnerability that is so appealing. She was amazing in Requiem for a Dream-- her performance was the heart of the movie, really made you feel the tragedy of addiction. I'd love to see her in more films.

I imagine you're singling out the director of Requiem For A Dream, as you can't seem to get off the topic of dissing it. Believe me, you are not even worthy of smelling Darren Aronofsky's sh*t. Requiem For A Dream was not only a powerful film that holds a revered place in my DVD collection, but one of the best career moves for Jen, as it obviously led to her being cast in A Beautiful Mind, the film on which she met her fiance Paul Bettany, not to mention winning an Academy Award. Jennifer is beautiful both inside and out and deserves all successes that befall her. Have some taste, why don't you, and don't blame Jennifer because nearly every film to hit the theatres has sex and violence in it. Stick to VeggieTales flicks if it bothers you so much. -Jez

This actress is very dear to me. I remember her from her role as Sarah in Labyrinth. When I was young, I wanted to be her. She was so convincing and has true star quality. I believe she will have staying power, and I hope to see her in many more films.

Jennifer is one of the recent years most talented actresses. She shines in A Beautiful Mind... She mesmerizes in Requiem for a Dream... She is a dream come true in Dark City... She has a personality that is unheard of and at least a thousand frowns and expressions that all seems reliable... Furthermore she's charming as hell...

Here's an actress with the rare combination of arresting beauty, acting talent, and an interest in choosing diverse, challenging roles. I have to admit I didn't think she was much more than a (very) pretty face when I first saw her in "The Rocketeer," but after her performances in "Requiem for a Dream" and "A Beautiful Mind," I'm really impressed. Did I mention she's, like, good-looking and stuff?

Thomas Kerry lost all credibility and clearly demonstrated his lack of familiarity with Jennifer and her work when he stated that "Jennifers new movie 'requiem' is x-rated and contains horrible violence" and when putting forth juvenile, derogatory, silly remarks like "Your boobs got you into Yale and Harvard", "no acting involved", "realize how evil it is that she is inspiring our teenage women to be sluts", and "big tit bimbo".

Jennifer Connelly is an incredible actress. she is also beautiful. her acting can be seen in her amazing performance in Requiem for a DReam. In this movie she has a graphic sexual experience, but this was not to be seen as beautiful, but rather to show the desperate and sad state she is in because of her addiction. She does not do the acts she does because she likes it, but rather because of her drug addiction. This is especially seen when she basically gives up her boyfriend for drugs. She is amazing, as is her acting.

Why has no one mentioned Labyrinth? That movie is a classic.. and I believe that no one could have filled the rols of Sarah any better. Her role in Dark City was also a great one. I think she's beautiful and very talented. Definitely does not have the popularity she should.

Jennifer is fantastic - and I didn't realise that Dark City had explicit sex and violence in it - and I have the film at home. I am a teenage woman (19 yrs old) and I am not inspired to become a 'slut' by watching films she has ACTED in. I doubt that the female teenage population is so easily influenced by films anyway. I should know as I have studied Media. Also, to get into Yale/Harvard, I think that the people who run those institutions aren't persuaded by the students breasts or anything else. Can I remind you that this is the 21st century, not the 18th. In regards to sex and violence, just switch onto the news and you have a whole load of it. Are we going to ban the news as well?

Jennifer Connelly reminds me of a fifties girl. She has that quality about her that is angelic in a stocky way. There is more to her than Hollywood storylines will allow on screen and that is a shame. She is naturally pretty without makeup and it is obvious. She reminds me of a lot of girls in Huntington Beach, California whom drive a classic car like a 54 Corvette painted in sky blue and listens to bands like 'The Cramps', 'The Big Wu', and 'Cave Cat Sammy'. I like this actress and I hope that she is in better upcoming films.

What the reviewer below(Reverend Thomas Kerry) failed to do before writing his comments was to actually see Requiem For A Dream. She was superb in that excruciatingly painful movie. Believe me when I say it did not romanticize or glorify sex or addiction. It was a very painful movie to watch if you have a history like mine. Jennifer nailed her part fairly well. She turned out to be a better actress than I had expected. This was a very serious role that could lead to some non-bimbo parts. Hubert Selby(Last Exit To Brooklyn) wrote Requiem.

It seems that every 10 years or so,Hollywood puts up on the screen an actress barely out of her teens whose presence and stunning beauty hypnotize an entire generation (or two) of men.In the 1980's that actress was Phoebe Cates..in the 1990's it was Jennifer Connelly.She has the kind of persoathat makes one forget sometimes about plot and theme.This is not always a bad thing because some of the films Ms Connelly has appeared in are quite forgettable..except for her...still the personality bubbles below the extraordinairy packaging and the smart money says that one day she will end up in a vehicle that will showcase her beauty and,one suspects,considerable acting abilities.We wait patiently

Jennifers new movie "requiem"is x-rated and contains horrible violence. It is amazing how many men will keep praising the sleazy movies she has made in recent years. These male critics just seem to notice her knockers and do not realize how awful it is that Jennifer used to make childrens movies and decent movies with morals. The new film "Requiem " should be banned. Jennifer Connelly should wake up some day and realize how evil it is that she is inspiring our teenage women to be sluts. She should realize that the films she has been doing in recent years are trash. She should stop every film since "Higher Learning" from being printed on dvd's. This way, they won't be seen by our children. I can't even comprehend how a person like Jennifer can sleep at night without a guilty conscience! Jennifers recent films, "Mulholland Falls", Inventing the Abbotts", "Dark City", are full of violence and sex. Too much violence and sex and no acting involved.
