I thought her performance was stuning in The End of the Affair. Here you have an American actress able to capture a 1950s Englishwoman. Having read and studied Greene, I thought this novel was his best and she helped make it so true to the authors intnetion. While she was brillant as Sarah......her acting in Boogie Nights was fantastic...gentle, relaxed..demontstrating scope....top class

Julianne Moore is becoming one of my favorite actresses. She has an unbelievable range! From the maternal role model, porn star in "Boogie Nights" to the lighthearted comedy with Hugh Grant to her wild and believable role as the neurotic, unstable yet loving wife in "Magnolia." I have enjoyed her performances in many Independent films as well and look forward to future films. I would actually go see a movie simply for the fact that she was in it.

She uses her lovely, luminous eyes to convey nuance, and she "speaks volumes" without uttering a word. What a talented actress. Without a doubt, she is one of the best actresses of the decade.

I've only seen her once in 'The End of the Affair.' I have to say that she was really good. Her English accent was believable, and she did it effortlessly.. unlike Gwyneth Paltrow's, which seems to be a bit exaggerated. I thought she's an English actress all this time. Want to see her other films.
