Barbara has always been a pro and I admire her hard work and like her personality. She has always done interviews that are great and she gets high ratings. "The View" brings out another side of her and I like to hear her own opinions, so we are able to know more of the real BW. Everyone on TV (almost) has facelifts, so I think she looks beautiful.

let me start by saying B.W. is a journalistic vampire. she has sucked the itegrity vein dry. i was "deeply disturbed" by the manner in wich she spoke of pop idol micheal jackson. what is he guilty of anyway? seeing a plastic surgeon? half of hollywood and most of B.W. is plastic. the man who did the actual interview was nothing short of mean, selfritous and ignorant. M.J. has said for years his inspiration comes from children and that age in spirit. now he is guilty of being a petifile, a horrible father and an attempted baby killer!! the journalist who did the interview was forming too many opinions instead of asking questions. not good journalism. we are to form our own opinions from facts and insight, not told what to think of M.J. by B.W. and co. M.J. had a terrible childhood. who is to blame the man for creating a perfect childhood with his wealth. we would most likely do the same thing under those conditions. GOD bless M.J. for embracing(not physically) children and what they have to offer us. children need to be loved(not raped) more than anything. they are crying out all around us w/ gangs, drugs, violance and even suicide for the simple act of love. M.J. is a visionary who can actually see where we need to start to change the world. our children. i am not a big or even small fan of his music but i back up his views 100%. as far as im concerned B.W. and co. should be banned from public t.v. due to her(their) lack of humility and their desire to make manure mountains out beautiful molehills. B.W. is(as howard stern put it) a vampire. send her to the catholic church where our children really are in danger and lets see what crap rolls off her tounge then. john s. N.Y.

Phoney - pretends to be sincere. I agree - go away.

I cringe everytime she speaks. Needs to stop speaking through her nose and loosen up a bit. Too uptight!!!

Tabloid gossup. Really has gone downhill. Can you imagine Walter Conkrite interviewing Justine Timberlake?
kira0608 12/08/2002
Has-been. Stupid interviews with stupid people. Just go away.

What a complete has-been. It’s pathetic to see this former journalist interviewing stars like a tabloid troll or worse to see her trying to make cry some poor slob during their 15 minutes of fame. She’s been kicked off any show that even purports to be have journalists yakking (e.g., This Week). I heard George Will threatened to walk off any segment if she ever set foot in the studio while he was on.

I think she's very attractive for a woman her age. Nevertheless, you can't deny how her integrity as a professional news journalist has slipped. Interviews with Celine Dion and Justin Timberlake? As John Stossel would say: Gimme a break!

I want to know where they hid all the skin this lizardface viper has had cut off over the last 80 years of television. Makes me sick to see her. A real phony and fraud that thinks people can't see through her. Ugly - even more than the fat guy on NBC news!

Barbra Walters digs up the dirt like no other news personalitie does. She and Hugh Downs were great hosts of 20/20, and now she is on The View and has her own interview show, which isn't half bad!

I always liked Barbra Walters, but her show "the View" troubles me somewhat. She is careful in her opinions, keeping up her image. Lately she seems to be showing her true colors, though. Her co-hosts express some of the most outragous views on tv, without any objection from her ... I think that says a lot of Ms. Walters.

I loved her until her show "The View". I am so sick of hearing about all their sex lives and Barbara sitting back and letting it happen. What is this world coming too.

Barbara Wawa is absolutey the worst. How o' how does she continue in this business? What producer see's her and thinks "oh yeah I've got to put something together with her, she's great!!" Everytime she does an interview it's just a pathetic, shameless, embarrassing attempt to squeeze some sympathy out of the viewer. she's putrid!!

I don't see her as the incredible interviewer that she seems to think she is. I don't know many people that do. I am not sure what gave her that reputation, from what I see, she is not gripping, trustworthy or the least bit interesting. She is rather self-absorbed and arrogant as well ..I will 'enjoy the view', as soon as she retires.

Barbara is all washed up. She needs to retire and end her career. The View is really annoying and her Oscar pre-show has gotten worse every year. She was great back in the day but it is over. Time to go home.

I'd say retirement is about 15 years overdue.

What makes her so special?

SHE STINKS.THE NATIONAL ENQUIRE IS MORE HER SPEED

Every time I see Barbara Walters, I'm reminded of Cheri Oteri's imitation of her on "Saturday Night Live." It's difficult to take her seriously after that!
