I guess I am one of the few people who doesn't like these. I love peanut butter, and chocolate, and the combination 99% of the time. But for some reason these don't work for me.

Arguably the best candy on the face of the planet. I think ET got us early 80's kids hooked.
kattwoman 11/04/2005
i never tried them until recently and i've been hooked ever since
frick35cr 11/03/2005
These are really good. On par with m&m's as far as I'm concerned although totally different, it is kinda hard to compare them - one being chocolate and the other peanut butter...-. Reese's cups are better in my opinion though.
naima 07/16/2005
Im not a fan of Peanut Butter but Im sure Id like them!
clownmaster44 06/13/2005
I like to put them in the feezer and freeze them over night yum its good.
Wid71 05/05/2005
These are highly addictive. A close choice between these and Peanut M&M's. I'd have to say that Reese's wins by a nose...
hamchat1 04/06/2005
Only chocolate candy that i like.
louiethe20th 03/25/2005
Not bad on taste and texture, but can be overwhelming if you eat alot of em'.
brittygirl101 03/11/2005
MMMMM i ecspecially like it in my popcorn at the movies
IDontCare 01/04/2005
Reeses are awesome. Once I pick a bag up its hard to set it down
Cartman117 12/05/2004
ok there good sometimes but a rip off of m&m's.
auctionweb30 10/29/2004
One of my favorites. In response to another user, I have indeed tried them with M&Ms. No, it's not really a good combination, which is odd because peanut butter and chocolate are usually a good combination.
WarGamefan93 09/12/2004
Love em. Especcaily in flurries
CocoPaloma 02/25/2004
Heavenly little bits of goodness!
The_Decockster 10/29/2003
Reese Pieces are all right, but they'd never be my first candy choice. They need CHOCOLATE!
Spaz 08/20/2003
Reese's Pieces are sooo small and good. I love them. They are way better than smarties
RebelYell1861 06/03/2003
One of the most delicious ways to put unhealthy trash into your body.
mst3k4evr 05/04/2003
One of my favorites, a great alternative for M&Ms if you are allergic to chocolate. But I only eat them in small doses now, because after a certain point I start to get sick of them and I go for a couple weeks until I buy another bag. And I haven't tried it this way, but I bet it tastes pretty good if you eat these and M&Ms at the same time.
Vudija 05/03/2003
I prefer theses over M&M's, simply because they have more flavor, and I LOVE peanut butter. I wouldn't recommend them though, if you aren't a fan of peanut butter.
Redoedo 05/03/2003
I actually prefer these over M&M's. They have that special flavor which simply cannot stop me from eating an entire bag.
BIGBABY 03/01/2003
I love Reeses's Pieces! There much better than M&M's becuase their not just plain chocolate. They taste different, better, than Reese Cups.
razeitup 01/22/2003
You can't get these everywhere and it really sucks 'cause they are awesome.
Golgo Thirteen 11/21/2002
I will take these over a bag of plain M & M's any day of the week.
LoneUSFullHous eFan 02/19/2002
Been one of my favorites ever since I was a child.
Lord of the Waves 11/06/2001
I have never understood the alure of this certain candy. They have a rancid taste lacking variety and strength.

reeses pieces is just great. et ate them so thats why they so popular anyways. and i'd take et's advise like anyday cause i was abducted by aliens back in 98. so i listen to what they say so they dont harm me none. and i spect them aliens would all say to eat reeses pieces so thats why i do it. and they good anyway too. the reeses pieces i mean. i dont talk about wether the aliens good or not cause my therrapist told me not to say anything.
Crewgirl41487 07/11/2001
Just wanted to let Coach Reese know that I'm sorry we melted on her. As for the taste of the candy any peanut butter chocolate candy combination is fine with me.
Dorkavitch Chamalsky 04/12/2001
Not as much fun as eating a bag of M&M's but still good. However, you can only eat so many of these and then they become too sweet and you just have to stop. But they're still good by the handful, and if they were good enough for E.T., then they are good enough for me.
callmetootie 04/06/2001
Reecees Pieces are an awesome candy to choose. They're always good for halloween and thanksgiving because of the colors, and they are filled with that fake peanut butter stuff.
jkbowman 01/07/2001
Too much peanut butter. It it's not all chocolate, forget it.
plusmaster 12/16/2000
It tastes really good. I think that the idea was one of the best in the candy industry ever. Peanut butter and chocolate is a good mix.
wdawg 12/16/2000
Chocolate peanut butter makes a great combo. Doesn't melt very easily. Leaves a good chocolatey taste in your mouth. Very, very sweet!!
tjohnson 12/13/2000
I don't like the pieces, but I love the butter cups. Those are the best. The butter cups have more flavor of peanut butter.
Sunshine2 11/16/2000
Not as good as Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Doesn't have enough peanut butter flavor. Overall size is good.
Jomol6 11/16/2000
Reese's Pieces rule. The only problem is they are hard to find. Most stores don't carry them. They are basically sugary peanut butter without the mess. They come in smaller than average packages which means you get less for your money. It's still worth it, as they're a good alternative to chocolate candy.
Spiralingmarce 07/28/2000
Pretty ingenous: M&M's in peanut butter.
ange6833om 07/04/2000
OH MY GOSH... HOW I LOVE THESE CANDIES. THEY ARE THE BEST - IN ICE CREAM, BY THEMSELVES. THEY ARE SOOOOOOOO GOOOOOD!!
alicat 06/28/2000
The peanut butter is all powder like. I don't really like them. I love peanut butter but I can't get into these for some reason.
PoorOldEdgarDe rby 06/26/2000
A product of great marketing (ET) but as for a candy I can take'em or leave'em. Not awful but nothing special. I agree with someone below who said they're too sweet. And since when does peanut butter taste like that?
magellan 06/26/2000
A little too sweet. Oddly, Reeses Peanut butter cups are perfect, but these cross the line into being good, but too sweet to eat massive amounts in one sitting.
Shafty 06/26/2000
These are good, but something about the consistency of the peanut butter paste insdie does not make me want to give this a 5-star rating, I think it is too greasy ar smooth or something. I cannot put my finger right on it.
SamIAm 06/26/2000
E.T. was an excellent marketing campaign for Reese's Pieces..definitely made me a fan of the peanut buttery treat. Although, I must admit, they are not my first choice..I seem to forget about them..but when I do spy one of those orange bags, I can inhale the entire contents in about 2 seconds, and savor the texture of the candy shell until it melts away to that lovely creamy peanut butter.
Shroomwoman 06/26/2000
An absolutely delectable peanut butter confection. The light, crunchy shell is the ideal complement to the slightly salty, slighty sweet, rich and creamy center. I like to eat Reese's Pieces one at a time in order to savor them.
vcg26060om 06/22/2000
If they were good enough for E.T., then they're good enough for me. How could you resist that thin candy shell that melts away to unleash a unique "peanut butter" taste? M&M tried to come out with their own version of Reeses Pieces but nothing compares to the original. Only downside is that one must consume by the handful (at least five or six at a time) in order to achieve maximum satisfaction. Not always a pretty picture --but the deliciousness that is a Reeses Piece definitely makes it worth your while to look like a starved candy fiend!
