He might have gotten voted out anyway, but asking your tribemates to vote you off pretty much seals your fate. I probably would have given him at least 2 stars if he hadn't asked to get voted out.

He was an old bitter man who deserved to be voted out. I hope he learned his lesson.

sad little shrively monkey who hated everyone. I don't care what you said on 'Survivor: The Reunion'.

B.B., like Susan, is a very debatable Survivor. Some say he’s a hard-worker, others say he’s just a grumpy old fart. I say mix a little of both, add a young tribe, and throw in a bit of endearance, and you got yourself a B.B. First, you have to admit he and Gretchen were the hardest workers on the tribe, who seemed to think it was MTV Beach House instead of Survivor. Gretchen and he, single-handedly got the house up themselves, while the rest of Pagong lounged around (I’m exaggerating, they helped every once in a while but DEFINITELY not as much as B.B.). His mistake in building was telling the tribe to build waterfront, which Gretchen diagreed with. Eventually, the hut did flood, with B.B.'s efforts gone to waste. Basically, he was instrumental in the tribes first days in building. His hard-workingness also led to his down fall. He said he'd work so hard that he'd be insespensable, but that didn't compensate for his usual bad attitude. While the others socialized, he worked on the house. He yelled at the others for not doing their share, and was considered rude by many. B.B. also made enemies with alpha-male numero dos, Joel. And washing his shirt in the cooking water, NOT a good idea for making in good with the tribe. His worst move was saying he WANTED to leave. Even the best friend he had, Gretchen, used this as a “get-out-of-jail free” card and voted against him, despite at the last minute deciding he didn’t want to leave yet. You also had to admit that B.B. was a family man (that shirt with pictures of his family was priceless and a great idea too). He also was all right at the challenges (Ramona and Colleen were larger liabilities). Rudy also had the same problems in the beginning, but he had an alliance to get him through. If they had traded tribes, I’m sure B.B. could have lasted much longer. Also, like Susan, he made for great TV, and brought in some conflict in the overall yuppie Pagong tribe. So...B.B. receives a personal score of “2” and a “1” for only receiving 15th place in Pulua Tiga and gets an overall score of “2”

He's a grumpy old man, but he busted his ass. Straight up, they voted him off becuase he made the younger folks look bad. Just imagine a tribe merger with him and Rudy. Two words: laugh riot.

B.B., you were not a particularly nice person... no wonder they voted you off so quickly. And unlike Rudy, you're not funny, which makes him better in my opinion.

B.B. was okay. I really like the way he's determined to finish things and go on new adventures. I disagree with some of his thoughts though.

He needed to wait for "senior's survivor" Old people have a very hard time adapting to younger crowds. He did have survial skills but the unwillingness to get along with his young tribe made him come off to everyone as a grouch.

What a joker. I know he worked hard and got the camp up and running, but he never would have been able to survive life on the island. While Rudy was able to make an important alliance early on, BB was essentially on his own, washing his clothes in the drinking water, and hoping to get voted off. What he ended up with was a vacation on a tropical island where he had to work his ass off.
