Cher might be a good singer and actress to some people and that's fine,to each his own. I see her as a low life with very little gray matter that doesn't know anything about George Bush and isn't smart enough to keep her dumb mouth shut on things she knows nothing about. Who really cares what the Hollyweirds say? Most of us are smarter and more savvy than they will ever be. I really think, they know they don't influence normal people that much and it makes them furious!

Her nastiness overshadows a real talent. Too bad.

Say what you like about her, but her staying power is unmatched. 40 years in the music business and now holds the record for the most succesful concert tour by a female in history. Oscar, Emmy, Grammy and Golden Globe winner. Hit movies, broadway play, Tv seires concerts and CD's. Work tirelessly doing charity work. There is no one else like her. She is an original and always has been and done things her way. She is timless.

Every now and then something for charity or just a good thing will be in the paper (in the back usally) about Cher. She is the kind of person who does things not for the thanks but just to help out, but that wont sell papers. She is a wonderful performer with a great heart. I have been a fan of hers from the 70's, that doesnt mean I think she is perfect I just think she is more under rated than she should be. All things concidered I had to give her 5 stars.

I hate her. . .I hate her a thousand times- but she was good in Moonstruck and terrific in the underrated Mask. It simply hurts to give her 4 stars.

Don't really like her singing, never cared for her style. She can act though. She's definitly a liberal, but when Sonny Bono died, she hosted a special for him that was very touching. You could tell, very much so, that she still loved him, even if he was a Republican. Nice, kind-hearted lady.

Since this is the actresses section I'm going to give a review about Cher strictly based on that. I do not care for her private life or her love for botox injections thats her business as this doesn't detract from her performance as an actress. Cher is a damn good actress and shes done better projects than some actresses on this list. The worst film I've seen Cher in is The Witches of Eastwick and even that wasn't too bad. The Mask, Moonstruck, Mermaids, Silkwood these are all good films and rather than over-act Cher was completely natural and if I remember correctly she was nominated for a supporting actress for her role in Silkwood and actually won an academy award in Moonstruck. Not bad at all.

Cher is one of the Greatest legends to ever walk this planet. Yes she has had some surgical improvements, but what actor/actress in hollywood hasnt? She is a wonderful singer, a fashion icon, and an unforgettable actress. I remember the first time that I saw moonstruck, i was five. when she gets up from bed and looks at the moon, i saw an angel, an angel that has helped me through hard times. I am in love with Cher, and always will be. I went homicidal once, almost killing my parents and myself. I turned on my cd player, and her song Strong Enough stopped me. I knew then that if I stayed strong for just a few more years, I would be out of my house forever. Cherilyn Sarkisian LaPierre is an angel.

she was pretty good in Mask. I have seen a few of her movies and she as okay. Nothing too special. I would not make a point of seeing her movies and I do not go Wow!when I see her in movies either. Not so sure she deserved an Oscar.for Moonstruck.

Cher's comments about the possible election of George W Bush are ludicrous. She wants everyone to remember the regan/bush years when everyone had no jobs or money? I would bet a whole year's salary that SHE did not suffer with a lack of job or money. How dare she speak for the regular joe? All these celebrities are concerned with one thing, and one thing only: that the election of a republican, or the possibility of a war will deter our attention from them and their shows, music, concerts or movies. They are concerned about their pocket books, and that's it. They have no real opinions or views.
