She's got balls and is not afraid of telling it like it is. I admire her for her talent, her honesty and her willingness to put herself out there in the face of all the spitefulness evident in the comments here. I've been a fan since I was a kid - Cher is a popular icon. And as for the people commenting here that are so intolerant they can't stand to hear an opionion different from their own, THAT'S WHAT WE DO IN THIS COUNTRY! REMEMBER?!

Certainly seems to fall into the category of "been there, done that" and undeniably some things far better than others. Cher is kind of an enigma who has had both huge successes and crashing failures as she has darted in and out of the public eye over the years. She is at once a passable yet not-really-too-great singer, for the most part an above average actress, and seems to have some common sense in spite of a tendency to embrace plastic surgery with nearly the same religious zeal (if not somewhat less tragic outcome) of Michael Jackson. I appreciated her recent remarks concerning reality TV when she said something to the effect…why do these people enjoy making fools of themselves? Although I may have taken those comments more seriously if she did not appear to have half her original face now residing behind her head.

As an actress, Cher has done an incredible job. It would be wonderful, if, in future, she has the opportunity to do more films. I don't give a wit about her personal or political life -- I only care about her job performance, which is superb.

I don't like her music anyway, but she should have stuck with that as opposed to branching out. She is no Academy-award-winning actress, and it's funny that she seems to think she is. Actually, she thinks she's a lot of things--it's obvious her ego is larger than her career. Among the lot of things that she is, she is also one weird lady.

I hate Cher! I hated her show in the 70s, hated her 80's and 90's movies. Go sing your stupid songs again, and leave the screen to other people.

She was wonderful in Mask. A great actress and a great performer. It's nice that she's still going strong and is as beautiful as ever.

I know this isn't a popularity contest (or is it?) But I like a person who has the guts to say what they feel.Cher consistently does this.Though,I still think her best dramatic performance was at Sonny's funeral.

There seem to be a lot of idiots here who think that this is a list of top political opinions. This is the list for actresses...not their politics, music, or looks. I don't like Cher's music or looks. She's a great actress(seems to be the only thing she is really good at, but that is all that matters on this list). Moonstruck, Mask, Suspect, Mermaids...she's a fine actress. If you need to praise or slam her music, I would guess that you could do that on one of the music lists.

Cher is entitled to her political opinions. However she has used her celebrity status to promote them and now must pay the consequences. It's time to pack your bags and hop on a luxury private jet and head for Cuba, Zimbabwe or some other socialist paradise. I hope you are able to take all your millions with you. I used to enjoy your music, but after watching you shamelessly hijack Sonny's funeral in front of his widow and later make inane political pronouncements during the election, your stock has plummeted to a negative value. I use to enjoy Cher in the 70s but since then I see her as being very shallow. She doesn't seem to be present herself very well on talk shows neither. She wears fur too which is against my beliefs. I know allot of people like her but she always just seemed so vain, dumb and shallow.

I absolutely LOVE Cher. She is a wonderful singer and actress. I just recently saw her "Believe" Tour. It was wonderful. I would see it again if I had the chance. She is one of those die-hard singers who will be here forever! I know that she is becoming older, but that should not make a difference in her ability to shine! I am content to sit for an afternoon and listen to her CDs or watch her movis. Cher is the greatest!

Many people can't get past her *image* to see the great actor that she is. She has a very low Sh*t tolerance level and I respect that.
