I have mixed emotions about Drew Barrymore. While at times she's above average, she's certainly not one of the best either. Her roles are typically cutesy and generally adorable. Boring. She does nothing that stretches herself as an actress. On the whole, its her charm that leaves her so popular and so overrated. She'll probably never win an Oscar but she does well in her capable, comfort zone of acting.

Highly overrated. She is simply a sorority chick who is not that good looking but has the friends to pull her through. Boring and vapid as well.

I don't understand this, she is about one doughnut shy of 250 and has the face of a bulldog. Charlie's Angels? was that acting? that was the worst movie ever!

A cute, vibrant actress who is so OSCAR worthy that it is almost scary...Drew Barrymore touches the hearts of so many people when they watch her on screen that it brings tears to my eyes. Her talent overflows into the movie theatre everytime I see her on the big screen. (ok, ok that might be a little dramatic, but she is damn good!) A living legend with endless talent...and a very good role model. I wish her so much luck in the future...

I think Drew is extremely talented. I very much liked her in "Riding in Cars With Boys," "Mad Love", "Poison Ivy" and "Never Been Kissed".

Sorry, confessing to being a 12 year old cocaine whore in Hollywood does not a good actress make. I am glad you turned your life around, but exploiting your hardships for publicity is questionable in my book. I wonder if any of the events of her youth were "embelleshed" in order to generate even more publicity... I find it interesting that she hit every talk show and told her sad story; you'd think she would want to get such a difficult childhood behind her instead of telling it over and over. Hmmm.

Little Girl Lost made me have more respect for her then I ever did before. I always thought she was a great actress. But after reading that, I know how strong of a person she is, and I admire that.

I think it's great that she managed to get off drugs and turn her life around. Most people would just roll over and die. But other than that I think she's a talented actress. But since she was in Charlie's Angels I'll have to knock her down a star.

Drew Barrymore is an above average actress, but she is not one of the best. She's special in her own unique way- she is so adorable and has an amazing amount of charm. I think that X-D was a bit too hard on her (was there any mention of her acting ability in that post?). Drew Barrymore has given some impressive performances since her performance in "E.T." in her youth. I enjoyed her performances in "Never Been Kissed", "The Wedding Singer" and "Charlie's Angels". However, her best performance is probably her least known. I thought that she was wonderful as the "bad girl" Ivy in "Poison Ivy". When I get tired of seeing Drew Barrymore's typical "good girl" roles, I just watch that movie and am amazed at how she pulled that performance off. She's a good actress, and as her career progresses, hopefully she can broaden her acting horizons.

Drew Barrymore is terribly overrated. I don't think she is all that great of an actress. To be honest it seems to me that her acting has gotten worse as she became an adult. Her best acting was done as a child. She just seems to act so immature in many of her roles now, those who don't know her would probably think she is a teenager instead of a grown woman after watching one of her recent movies.

Drew Berymore is a outstanding actor. she has preticipated in so many films such as riding in cars with boys, never been kissed and others, she can be a comidian, she can really convince you that she is really in that situation. I do recomend you seeing some of her movies. take my word for it. she is one respectibal, intellagentsupurb actress and she in unmisktakeably meant for her line of work. I love all of Drew Barymores movies and I will always think, even if she preticipated ever, (in the past or the futre) in a sucky movie, to me she would still be the best actor for the job. I am a huge fan of Drew's! Being the same age as her I feel like I've grown up with her! "It's kind of ironic, but people sometimes call me Drew because I look so much like her. I think she has a natural talent for acting and lights up the screen with her positive energy and enthusiasm. I have recently read her book "Little Girl Lost" (which by the way was a wonderfully written and very inspirational book!) and was amazed by the eloquence of her words and the maturity in her perception of things which was well beyond her years. I admire her courage for writing about some of the struggles she has been through growing up. I could relate to so much of what she went through. It takes a lot of guts to "put yourself out there" but she took the chance and has been an inspiration to many people. I think that is part of what makes her so loveable; She's not afraid to show her more personal, human side - to be real. The film industry can be so superficial but she doesn't seem to be so wrapped up in it all that she forgets what's really important to her. I am very happy for her that she has finally got some stability in her life and that she has found a great guy who is also very talented. I know that with her talent, strength, sincereity and that natural "sparkle" she will go far!!! I would love to meet her one day to thank her for being such an inspiration!

Drew is so adorable, I like her films but I'd like to see her challenge herself more. She comes from one of the most talented families in Hollywood history, and I'd like to see her develop her talent more because I think she is capable of anything. She's beautful and very likable and has a lovely figure.

I recently finished watching her movie "Never Been Kissed" for the upteenth time and yet I still find myself weeping. Ms. Barrymore is able to move one so emotionally.
