Al Michaels brings an interesting voice to Monday night football. He isn't too boring, but also doesn't get as excited as some soccer announcers, who I won't name.

Certainly is knowledgeable when it comes to football. I fully agree with another reviewer who basically points out that Dennis Miller has forced Al to become more well-rounded in the personality department.

A bit overbearing at times, but I think that's a prerequisite for the job on MNF.(i.e.Howard Cosell)This probably isn't a very popular opinion but,I think Dennis Miller has been good for Al.He has lightened up and shown a sense of humor you rarely ever saw.

He is really good at what he does, but does not appeal to me on a wide level. This guy is totally Monday Night, man. I really like him, but he could be better.

His "Do you believe in miracles?!" call during the 1980 USA-USSR hockey game still gives me shivers.

Best of the Best...who can forget the job he did at the World Series during the earthquake...as good or better than Jim Mckay at the olympics.

A true professional and very versatile. His call of the 1980 USA hockey game versus the evil Soviets is among the most memorable of all time.
