Being an American, I must confess that the Hershey's chocolate bar is just simply "cheap American chocolate." I really prefer the German, Swedish, or Holland chocolate; that stuff is divine!

This is THE classic candy bar - just good old-fashioned uncluttered chocolate. It’s kind of like the little black dress in the world of sweets – it has a timeless simplicity and sophistication that will never go out of style.

Candy is candy, but I'd never actually go into a store and buy this. Chocolate chips are a better bargain.

Pefect when you crave milk chocolate that just melts on your tongue otherwise is a bit bland.

Since when did people stop liking plain chocolate? It's really great, and Hershey's makes the best (inexpensive) chocolte, except for Dove. With all the fancy stuff, some people enjoy "just plain chocolate" every now and again. We enjoy simply savoring the wonderful taste of chocolate!

Why would you waste the calories on this bar when you could have something interesting? Its just straight chocolate!

Gross. I love chocolate just as much as the next person but I don't understand when you have so many candy bars to choose from, that you go and choose a Hershey's bar. The chocolate is not that great. The only thing Hershey's has going for it, is the S'mores.

As far as chocolate goes, nothing can match the flavor of a Hershey's Chocolate Bar. As an adult, I have tried all kinds of fancy imported chocolate, but I still prefer the taste of Hershey's. It has the ideal balance of cocoa flavor and richness without being too heavy. I'd take a Hershey's Chocolate Bar over Lindt, Godiva, or Ghirardelli chocolate any day.

Good for smores, but too plain to just sit and eat "raw."

While the pur chocolate is satisfying, the Dark bar hits the chocoholic much more at home. But, who wants just chocolate? Flavor needs variety! All hail the Zero!
