Yuck terrible! Darn lucky charms I wouldn't feed this crap to a dog! These pellets are terrible, why does that darn leprechun tease those kids with his cereal? If you watch the commercials, the leprechun is usually running away with his cereal from children! Those kids must haven't tasted those poison stale pellets!

Good when there's nothing else around.

I almost wish I could give it less than 1 star...this stuff is impossible to discribe but it just tastes awful
sfalconer 09/13/2005
Sing the song to these words Frosted Lucky Charms there like speed for your kids All sugar and no charm!
irishgit 09/01/2005
From the racist, exploitive leprechaun huckster to the multi-coloured, teeth rotting contents of the box this is truly disgusting. That damn leprechaun is going to have an IRA hatchetman after him one of these days.
Cartman117 12/09/2004
cheerios with colorful marshmellows...... WOW!
hotel283 06/30/2004
The worst of the marshmallow cereals. At least with count Chocula they coughed up a few cents to add some cocoa. Not this crap, just flavorless puffs of some mystery ceral grain and those hard, chalky boulders that once may have been marshmallow. Alos, not that I really care but how do you think people would react if it was an embarrassing Hispanic or Jewish stereotype selling this cereal. There'd be bloodshed, that's what. Guess it's okay if it's an Irish stereotype, they don't matter....

I love Lucky Charms. We don't get them in the UK anymore, despite pressure to bring them back. I love them so much I import them from the USA for 5.99 a box. (About $8.00!) And no, I don't have more money than sense! How can anyone dislike the sweet yummy marshmallows? They soak up the milk and go gooey. Pure heaven! The crunchy cereal is a contrast to this. Yum yum yum!
cinnabuntawnee 06/06/2004
I'm not sure if I've tasted better, and I do enjoy eating them (for the record, I am among those who love the marbits, no matter how sugar-loaded and bad they are for you), but Lucky Charms has the problem of being remembered. You eat it, you like it, you finish the box, go through a few boxes of other cereal, and go back to the supermarket. You look at the cereal aisle and Lucky Charms fails to jump out at you and say, Remember me? So although tasty, I tend to overlook this cereal and underestimate it until I actually get around to eating it.
Carla106 04/15/2004
Lucky charms is a good cereal. it isnt too sweet, if offers a good mix of the regular oat cereal and the marshmallows that, arent too flavored.
cod cobbler 04/01/2004
This cereal is one of the best three ever invented. I don't care what those little marshmallow thingies are made from, they test ever so yummie. I also have to agree that I too enjoy the flavor of the milk once it has soaked up the sugary sweetness. MMMM MMMMM Goood
CocoPaloma 02/25/2004
Very good - the extremely sweet marshmallow bits perfectly temper the dry, muted oat bits.
Dragon 5 08/08/2003
WTF is up with this sugar-laden, soggy-ass, marshmallow crap? I bought it because I was told it was a favorite of some young visitors we would have for the weekend. They ate it. My kids wouldn't touch it. It went into the garbage can on Monday morning.

Meow Mix and stale marshmallows - what's the appeal?

A plain awful cereal. I think that if it wasn't for the cool commercials, I never would've asked my mother to buy this when I was younger As shroomwoman said, the marshmellows taste like a sugar-coated piece of styrofoam. Yuck!
WarMaid 03/23/2003
Those little "marshmallow" charms are really sickening! I like sweet things, but this cereal is just way too sickly sweet.
sexyzebra 03/11/2003
I do enjoy lucky charms....however i would just like to comment on one of the shapes that the little cereal bits come in. The fish, has anyone ever noticed that it is the christiantiy symbol? Is this a subliminal message? Is christianity trying too convert all who eat lucky charms? a wierd coincidence or has christianity gone a little too far? Please let me know what you think!
BIGBABY 02/25/2003
I like Lucky Charms but thier marshmellows are too small and there isnt enough of them.
lukskywlkr. 01/23/2003
I love the marshmallow part of it, but the other part of the cereal lacks any real flavor. They should put way more marshmallows than they do.
angelpaws 12/14/2002
This cereal is fun to eat, no matter how old you are. It's colorful and tastes good. When I was younger I used to eat it plain and save all the marshmallows for last. That seems to be the most popular way to consume it on this board. I'll admit, it doesnt contain sugar and there are more nutritous cereals out there, but those arent as much fun to wake up to in the morning. Lucky Charms Rule!
RebelYell1861 09/27/2002
This stuff is delicious. I don't know just how nutritous it is, but it sure is good!
ClassicTVFan47 07/02/2002
I bet even adults pick out the tasty marshmallows of this cereal! :) A good, sweet cereal.
yoshislink 05/15/2002
This used to be my favorite cereal when I was a kid.
CastleBee 12/24/2001
What in the world ARE those little charm things and why do I doubt they have little to do with marshmallows? Could it be because they have the same consistency, look and taste of colored chalk? We tried it once way back when and were so under whelmed we never asked for it a second time. Magically disgusting.
ashleys 07/28/2001
Jerry Seinfeld turned me on to two things: Cereals and Pez. So let's talk about Lucky Charms. It was the first phase in my cereal obsession, which will never end. For basically a year straight I ate them for breakfast and dinner every single day. This is no lie. I would always save the marshmallows until the end, because one should always save the best for last. The rainbows were my particular favorite, and they were saved until the very end. Toward the end of my phase, I began to purchase the generic brand (Magic Stars at my local supermarket) because the not-marshmallow part (I hate to say it because I feel loyalty towards the General Mills Lucky Charms) is better. At this point in time, Lucky Charms are still able to be consumed. I could never give this cereal less than five stars because of all the precious time we have spent together.
afterglow70 06/15/2001
These have little marshmellow guys in them and at least the other part is 1/2 way decent for you. Slice a banana in it and it tastes great!
callmetootie 04/09/2001
Who wants to eat a bowl of marshmellows in milk? I can't stand eating Lucky Charms because it's gruesome, just knowing that you're eating marshmellowes dipped in a dairy product. Where's the hot cocoa?
blue morning glory 02/18/2001
Sure, it tastes good, but where's the riboflavin?
jtimmerman 12/16/2000
The regular pieces of grain are now marshmallow coated. The marshmallow pieces are fantastic. It's so expensive! They always have puzzles and prizes in the box. They don't advertise too much like some cereals.
paula9925 12/15/2000
Lucky Charms are fun to eat. I like to save all the marshmellows for last and then eat them all at once. It's also colorful. They taste good, especially for dinner. It's so sweet that I can eat it whenever I crave something sweet, instead of candy or chocolate. Lucky Charms has less fat and calories than candy and chocolate.
amcgenee 12/14/2000
Lucky Charms are the best friend known to mankind. It gets me going in the morning. They taste even better now that the cereal part of it is covered with marshmellow stuff.
Ahdoong 12/14/2000
Wonderful and happy tasting. Cheerful and mystic taste of our childhood. It's tastes reminds me of rainbows for some reason. I would eat it anytime with or without milk. Totally the best. I munch on it all the time.
d-licious 12/14/2000
Ever since I was a little kid I loved Lucky Charms. Every chance I get I buy at least two boxes from the store, especially when Safeway has a buy one, get one free. My brother got me started on Lucky Charms. I like the marshmellow taste with every bite and also when you're done with the cereal the milk afterwards. To me I think Lucky Charms are pretty good... the only problem is the high ass price they be charging sometimes.
Jayy18 12/13/2000
Lucky Charms would be really good if it wasn't for the oats. The marshmallows are really good and would go well with any other grain besides oats. This ceral could be great but because of the oats it is barely okay.
crazygirl 12/13/2000
The concept of this cereal is totally cool, they just rip you off with the marshmellows. They don't need to come up with new ways to sell the cereal, they just need more marshmellows, and that would definitely make people want it more.
tjohnson 12/13/2000
This is my third favorite cereal. I love the marshmellows. The color and the nutrients are excellent. It is very good.
prez 12/10/2000
Lucky Charms is a real man's cereal. What's more manly than rainbow colored marshmellows? Come on now, I'm serious, these marshmellows are good. You don't have to add sugar or anything to this cereal. It rules.
oreo 11/22/2000
Lucky Charms used to be a favorite breakfast cereal until my taste changed. Now the cereal seems too sweet and the marshmellows no longer taste good.
elujion 11/22/2000
Lucky Charms cereal tastes great. But it's not too sweet which is also good. There's a good amount of vitamins and minerals provided in 1/2 cup. I also gave Lucky Charms a 5 due to their commercials and concept. I like Lucky Charms.
c-walk 11/17/2000
I love Lucky Charms because they combine wheat combs (which are good for you) and exciting flavors from the marshmellows.
Shroomwoman 10/26/2000
Lucky Charms is a disgusting cereal. I disliked it intensely even as a kid. What's up with those horrible marshmallow stars, moons, and clovers? They taste like sickly sweet Styrofoam, and the cereal part is no winner either. I've always been suspicious of that leprechaun, too. He seems sinister somehow. Lucky Charms is one kid cereal I didn't mind outgrowing.
alicat 06/16/2000
Lucky Charms are so good but I have the problem of eating all the marshmellows out and not eating the other stuff. The marshmellows are good though.
alsu7146om 06/16/2000
Wwhen I was a kid, I use to like this cereal a lot. Especially the lucky charms because they're sweet, just like candy.
mcew3374et 12/18/1999
Those marshmallow bits get gooey and disgusting when you add milk-ok dry I guess.
Bug@2715et 12/16/1999
YUCK! To sweet, to much color and since when are hard stale marshmellows breakfast food.
elsi729om 12/14/1999
I feel so sinful when I eat them...like eating candy for breakfast.
Ruby 12/13/1999
Way overrated. The marshmellow treats aren't even tasty. The success of Lucky Charms is a testimony to the power of good marketing.
