Their love is a big trainwreck. Update: In some bizzaro world, Lucy and Charlie Brown are an unhappily married couple living in Wisteria Lane. Thanks to Lucy's gambling addiction and taste for expensive jewelry, Charlie Brown drinks his way to an early grave. .

If ever there was a villain of the Peanuts Gang, Lucy is it! She is good for providing some of the strip's funniest lines (next to Snoopy), but if she was a real kid, she would be very annoying. I like Linus better.

One of the meaner cartoon characters around.the kid who made life miserable for Charlie Brown.Mouthy, bossy, little brat. If Lucy and Angelica{from rugrats} were pit against each other who would win for meanest kid?   got to give her at least three points since every cartoon strip has to have the mean kid.

She has brains. I like people with brains, sometimes even if they are mean or bossy.

If it was up to me, I'd give Lucy a 1/2 star because even though she's a cartoon character, she's snobby, she's used to getting what she wants, she care really for no one but herself. And the way she treated Charlie Brown, it was terrible. If I was a cartoon character, I'd really introduce my foot to the crack of her ass.

even as a kid it pissed me off that she wouldn't let Charlie Brown kick the football... but after all those times.. Charlie Brown should have known what to expect.. and look at the one movie (i forget what it is called) but they went to camp.. the way she made all the boys move out of the cabin and sleep in the snow.. she was a bitch..

Lucy is your typical obnixous, bossy and arrogant kid who would get worse as a teen.

What would the Peanuts do w/o Lucy 1st of all? She may be mean and bossy but she's got it with a kick. With her psyciatric booth and her love for Schroeder she really adds sumthin. She might be mean but she has her own personality and maybe she doesn't know how to deal with stuff. She's not very smart but she has her "reasons" to back up her false statments. She's also very self-absorbed. But would Charles Shultz have added her if she weren't good the whole gang?

She's pushy, over-confident, and hostile. She's the only person in the comic strip who acts like a real person. And we've got enough people like her in the REAL world. We don't need her on the comic pages.

Was her name really Lucy, or was she really Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty as a child? Evil little girl.

I have mixed feelings for Lucy. I laugh at Lucy's crush on Schroeder and her 5 cents advice booth. On the other hand, I dislike Lucy for treating Charlie and Linus like crap. She is either killing Charlie with that football or terroizing her little brother.

I mean where would The Peanuts be without Lucy. But she was always just too mean for my taste.

Okay, here's the scoop on Lucy. She's arrogant, loud, abrasive, a know-it-all power freak and future micro-manager. If you haven't been pooped on by a half dozen of her clones before you're 12 your mother kept you in the attic closet. And you really know you've tripped some kind of cosmic bad karma switch when you end up with one for a boss. If that ever happens to you, just pray for the patience of Charlie Brown and try to keep from losing your mind.

Lucy can be mean, but she does have a soft side. The comic strip needs a character like this, a foil for Charlie Brown.
