I like Ralph because he is funny and he is a whimp. Ralph has stupidity and I felt sorry for him when Lisa broke his heart.

How can you not like Ralph?

Ralph is one of my top 5 favorite characters. He has some of the greatest lines. "When I grow up, I'm going to Bovine University!"

I do NOT like this character. Stupidity can be funny (Homer proves that!) but Ralph's humor is for eight year olds.

Awww...poor Ralph. He's that kid in your class in elementary school that everyone ignored and no one wanted to play with. If only the kids in his class were like fans of the show...then he'd have all the respect in the world. I'd definitely like to see more of Ralph and his great lines. My favorite one of his is "Mrs. krabappel and Principal Skinner were in the closet making babies and I saw one of the babies and the baby looked at me." That right there outlines the humor that comes from Ralph's innocence.

Still has funny lines. "Teacher! My shoes are making noise!" "And you must be Ralph.." "My daddy shoots people!" That's just as funny as "Me fail English? That's unpossible!", "I bent my Wookie!" or "My cat's breath smells like cat food." One of the funniest side characters on one of the funniest shows on TV.

Perhaps Ralph Wiggum is merely a vehicle used by the writers to communicate short, absurd and gloriously comical one-liners like "I bent my wookie" and "When I grow up, I wanna go to Bovine University!", but what a perfect and effective vehicle he is!!!

In his own weird and humble way, Ralph Wiggum is a genius. What other Simpsons character could come up with such classic lines as "Me fail English? That's unpossible!"? Not even that lovable gorilla known as Homer is as aloof or inept. Ralph remains a peripheral character at best, usually not having more than a few lines per episode and most times not appearing in an episode at all. Yet, the few words that do pass through his lips always manage to make me laugh. As an underused character, Ralph certainly deserves more air time. I'm sure viewers wouldn't mind seeing him more often.

It's ok Ralph I once bent my wookie too. It hurts for a long time but you get over it. Just be careful out there buddy. P.S. What did you do with the package for Otto? It wasn't dog food was it?

Ah, Ralph. So misunderstood. The poor guy opened his soul to Lisa Simpson, and what did she give him in return? Public heartbreak and humiliation. He tried his best to form a friendship with Bart, and what happened? Bart stole Ralph's skeleton key and got him into trouble during one of their play dates. Sure Ralph eats glue and picks his nose, but who among us hasn't tried a little Elmers or felt the need to clean house at some point? Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. And the adults are even tougher on poor Ralph. Miss Hoover damaged Ralph's young pysche by repeatedly stifling his attempts to talk about his cat. And Principal Skinner called Ralph up on stage in front of the entire school, just to tell him he flunked English. Confused, little Ralph could only stammer, "Me fail English? That's unpossible!" I say the Springfield highbrows should get off Ralph's back and instead begin to appreciate his unique brand of wisdom.

Ralph Wiggum is a Simpsons character who will be remembered by fans long after the shows demise. He is an incredibly stupid boy who says unintentionally funny things, such as revealing his eagerness to go to Bovine University, or when he suggests that a missing teacher has gone to the moon. He is as classic as Mr. Burns.

You choo-choo-choose me? Yes, I do, Ralph. I choose you as one of the undersung heroes of the Simpsons empire.

Probably one of the best characters and so little used.
