This man looks to be in his late 50's or 60's and is wasting the final years of his career hosting this total sleazefest. Like sfalconer, I have only caught it a few times, but most shows revolve around Who's the Daddy? The people he finds for these shows are not the classiest folks and of course behave with no dignity. Povich encourages them, and he should really be ashamed of himself. I can't imagine why anyone would choose to watch this show every day, but I guess some folks are watching, because it has not been cancelled yet.

I have read alot of comments about this show and I do not watch it but I do catch a glimpse every once in a while. It is always about who's the father of the baby and angry teens. Maury needs to retire and let his wife be the bread winner.

i used to like maury povich show.. i mean it has some episodes of it are happy but.. these young ladies come to the show and cuss to their babies father or fathers.. its ridiculous when these ladies comfirm 150% that its his baby and when its not they feel stupid and come back 5 more times... and.. it sucks when these babies grow up, they gonna find out their father is only there because her mother cussed him out to be a man LIVE...

Well I happen to be watching the Maury show about paternity test.The shows are full of drama but I get sick of hereing those young women just interested in getting the fathers money. I don't here the women saying anything to those fathers about spending time with those kids. They need to be loved and cared for.To be loved the way that they would want to be. That might not make for good ratings but thats how i feel.

T think what Maury is doing is great.There are millions of children out ther who deserve to know who there parents are. Paternity test are too expensive for a lot of people. I'm glad to see somebody finally helping these children and families. If you don't like it, it's probably because you never had to personally deal with this sort of situation so it is of no interest to you. I was never in this situation myself and i can get bored with it or laugh at this trashy women.But I can just turn the channel. Maury is doing a good thing. These people need answers.

The show is good when you watch it for the first time in months. But the topic is always the same. the show could be better then it is if they had a fairly new topic every day but until then they have to settle with 2 stars.

Dear Maury; I am from Canada and I watch your show every chance I get, you have the most amazing and interesting shows in all the talk shows on tv. I am also writing you to tell you I have a story to tell it is about my cousin. she is 29 and in a wheelchair since she was 13 she has rumituid Arthuritis and she is having trouble with getting disability, she was supose to have a home built for her and it is not to her standards for wheelchair, she only gets enough money for her workers that help her she has a little girl that is five. She can't even afford her meds sometimes and we would like some kind of hope and help to find a way for her to have a happier life. She is stuck in her home because there is no way we can lift her and put her in vechicals to transfer her back and forth she dose get to the hospital but it is hard on her to be tring to get in and out of a vechiel. I think that the maury show is amazing it gives young teenagers hope in life and a second chance. I think that the mpdal should not judge it like that beucase its good to help them find their daddy so their child can get to know their daddy and i dont think that you should critize it when you are probibly not perfect yourself

I don't have cable and only get channels that seem to play Maury day and night...Uggghhhhhh make it stop. Maury seems obsessed with teen subject matter, 14 and can't find the daddy of her baby...not just once or a few times in the course of a month like most talk shows...but like EVERY FRIGGIN show. When it's not that then it's my 12 year old dresses like prostitut, or my 11 year old is a drug addict and regularly lights the dog on fire. Then he will set them straight with that boot camp sergeant who always makes a big entrance...and the audience gets all worked up into frenzy, jumping up and down as if this jug head is their messiah. Seriously who gets excited over this? He's a make believe sergeant! These people are such morons! Seriously he seems to be a bit infatuated wit this subject matter about out of control kids. When it's not that it's who's the daddy (doesn't his audience get tired of that?) Though the worst even by Maury standards was when he had freakishly obese children on the show, and they forced these kids to come on the show only wearing diapers, and the older kids had to be shirtless. He put them on display and even had footage of some eating and eating and eating. WTF????? He does more harm to these kids than good. This guy is a loser, who feeds off the ignorant, jobless, illiterate audience that actually believes he is helping people.

Maury has to be the worst talk show host on TV. He doesn't offer suggestions to stop these teenagers from getting pregnant. He also is no help in the endless paternity test parade, allowing the same women on the show a million time to find the baby daddy. I wonder if these women know how stupid they look after the millionth man they test isn't the father and they go crying off the stage. They deserve it for not keeping their legs SHUT! And you also think the cheating boyfriends would've become aware of the sexy decoy trick by now. Man, talk about stupid, and Maury sunk to that level. This show should be axed NOW!

I have been watching Maury on TV for many years. Long before he got into talk shows. I always almired the compassion for people that he has showed. I am extremely disappointed in The Maury Show because all the shows are about sex, cheating, paternity, etc. There is more to life than all that trash. He truly disappoints me.

I love evey show that Maury's have. I think the show should not only help women find their baby's father, but also give them counseling. All the women who slept with two people at the same time have low self-esteem. Plus they should be embrassed to come on the show, to do that to themselves. Overall I love Maury's show. It's the best show on air, ever.

I thought the show called, That's not a monster,,that's my mom. Was very touching. I especially was touched by the young boy named Mitchell who had a serious facial disfigurement. He was a happy, energetic young 13 year old, and it brought tears to my eyes that people out there make fun of someone like that. He really is a beautiful person, and wish him and his family nothing but happiness. Good harmonica playing Mitchell!!!

I think that the show about who is the father has gone too far. Everyone is too busy looking for a father for these woman.Who don't know about the father. AFTER 5-10 OF MEN WHO COULD BE THE FATHER OR NOT. THEY SHOULD BE CHECKING THEM FOR S.T.D. Because after so many men they should worring about what they got or what they still could get. Espeacially when they go the show for D.N.A test and the men are not the fathers of the kids.And there stupid enough to go and do it again. They shouldn't be allowed to even have any more kids. The battered women show left a lot to be desired for the women facing this problem. Maury only told them to get away, but to where? I thought Maury should have mentioned WEAVE and other places to go that would be safe and helpful.

The Maury show is probably one of the worst shows on tv in my opinion. They almost always do paternity tests. If those women have to test that many men to find out which one is the father of her kid{s} chances are she needs mental help not just paternity help. It's obvious that Maury wants to be shocking to get ratings but I don't know who would watch that nonsense. Other topics include lie detectors, freak shows, out of control kids, and exploitational hidden cameras and stuff. Maury is a fake and he doesn't care about his guests he just wants to exploit them. This trash should be taken off the air immediatly. I would have given it zero stars but I had to give it at least one.

My wife and I used to love the show. But now it seems all he has on is paternity shows. It really gets sickening to see the same thing over and over. The paternity shows have been done to a ridiculous over kill. We don't even want to watch the show any more. It is terrible that all he does is encourage these people to go out and sleep around just to get on the show. Maury... go back to doing the good shows like... people surving death, or people who have over come a great obsticle etc. Get off the paternity kick all ready.

I watch Maury almost everyday. Why? No clue!!! A few things. I am SOOOOOO sick of the paternity tests. Let them talk about it, not you. Do you need that much of a tax deduct? How can you afford to pay for all those tests? Tell them go on birth control, pay for a year, not the tests. How can them women have any self asteem? How much do they get paid to be on the show and embaress them selves over and over? Also, the little kids that come on the show and steal, smoke, hit and kill, come on. They are to little to understand what the hell is going on at the age of 4 and 5. It is a good idea to get mentors that I applaud. And then the women to hit, yell and scream at the guys(and visa versa) before they are even on stage, muzzle them. Tie them to the chairs. The lie detector tests, why are they ALL lies? Is it because they love the attention that they get for being liars? It gets them no where in life. Probably because they ARE going no where in life. These kind of people, boy what I want to say I don't think I can put into decent words. Again, why do I watch this? Maybe for the background noise?!

I have watched The Maury Povich show go from being a decent, wonderful program to becoming just another typical who's my baby's daddy? smut show! I used to say Maury Povich was such a great guy and brave for not bending to the peer pressure by changing his show format like all of the other talk shows to include all of the paternity tests and lie detectors etc., but... I guess the pressure got to Maury too. It's sad really. I think he held out longer than some, but he still fell and now his show is terrible! It's truly sad because I think Maury is a man that DOES care about people and does want to help people, but he gave into the pressure of having to make his show like everyone else's. His show used to be unique and worth watching, now it's not even worth glancing at. Maury... this is so beneath you... wake up and smell the coffee hun... you're better than all of this worthless smut!

I really hate talk shows like this. They are built on shock value and nothing else. They take a very small portion of humanity and make it seem that all of humanity is that bad. Not true. Its truly saddening to see young women torn apart by men merely looking for sexual pleasure. And, the audience is terribly disrespectful, constantly whooping and cursing. The simple lack of dignity on this show is astounding.

i really enjoy the show but i have one comment to make. when maury does the shows about finding the woman's baby's father, maury usually has the woman apologize if she wrongly accusing the man of fathering her baby. but very rarely does he have the man apologize for wrongly accusing the woman of lying. cheers maury to all of your uplifting shows but please be more considerate of the woman trying to find their childrens father.

What a disgusting show. Exploiting teenage girls sexually and exploiting people with disabilities? At least the people in the 1930's freakshows were the ones being PAID for what they did! I also do not like that Maury says his show is a family show yet it showed a pre teen girl talking graphically about her affair with a 52 year old man as well as an episode talking about a man ejaculating into fast food. We don't need to hear their disgusting unhealthy activities. What message does this send to little kids? The user momsoftolland was right. Also, What's with the frequent stereotyping Maury does on this show: Teenage girls are slutty, people with disabilities and deformities are all poor, sad people who want money and gifts and pity? Men are cheaters? This show is just plain sickening.

I came across the Maury show today, and they were having a special on people who had been thru horrific ordeals. I thought it was really cool how Maury and the people behind the scenes had bought the children some nice things to cheer them up. They were not cheap gifts either. For this reason, I jumped the show from one star up to 3....(I know this may seem shallow to some, but I really did think it was cool that Maury was nice enough to do this for the babies....even if it is only a gimmick. He made their day that is for sure !)

Love your show - EXCEPT, I find it very unfair to have a continuation. Working people want to watch certain types of shows and take a break for them, THEN... Maury does not show the DNA answers the same day. The next day the whole previous day is repeated, complete waste of our time but we want the answers. Very Poor programming choice. When that happens, I simply do not turn it on, I never watch Jerry Springer because of allowing violence etc, Maury I think has tried hard to NOT BE Jerry Springer, but this one marketing tool reminds me of less than Maury Integrity

One day, when I was gloriously unemployed, I turned on Maury Povich and they had juvenile delinquents or something, and the solution that Maury proposed toward the end of the show was to have this huge black guy come out to yell at them - you know, the whole boot camp idea. But then, another time I turned on the show, they had teenaged racists as guests, and toward the end of the show, Maury says I want you to meet someone and sure enough, out comes the same big angry black guy to yell at them for being racist. Then, I saw an episode with teenage girls who dress like sluts, and at that point, I'm saying Bring out the big black dude to yell at them! Come on! Bring him out! Bring him out! And sure enough, he comes out and yells at these 12 year old girls for half an hour. Jeez, Maury, that's your solution for everything! Immediately. The whole premise is ridiculous. The scoring method is confusing, and the only reason it even aired at all was to try and compete with Millionaire. It didn't even come close. Maury really needs to stick to rehabilitating out of control teens - Twenty One is a bomb - not THE bomb - a bomb. An ok show but please NO MORE PATERNITY TESTS!!!!!!! He used to be one of my favourite talk shows...and to some extent kinda still is...but he's slipping..seems like he's caving and heading towards the junk talk shows. But once in a while will surprise you and have a half decent show.

Maury condones the promiscuity of todays teens who have sex with multiple men and doesn't have any idea about safe sex, by his catering to their search for the babies fathers. He should make them see that what they did was wrong, not applaud them for finding the father after testing multiple partners. This is encouraging teens to engage in such behavior. If they want to find the father, have them go to court and spend their own money to have these tests done. See if they'll pay to have all the men they have sex with at the same time tested. Maury should support responsibility, not encourage irresponsibility.

I enjoy the show, because it is not smutty like most of the other shows.you show a lot of interesting things. Keep up the good work of not too much vulgar shows. A big fan
