Guilty pleasure. Trashy, blustery, argumentative television disguised as a conversation forum. But like some of you, it can be funny trashy political fun on occasion.

Used to watch it all the time when it was the only show of that type. It has long since been surpassed by other shows that have a similar format.

I've watched the show for years. John McLaughlin seems to have moved more to the center and is more critical of the Bush administration than in the past. Pat Buchannon, although I mostly disagree with him, is my favorite. His sense of humor has aged like a fine wine. I'd love to share a Guinness evening with him.

Whenever I think of this program, I can't help but think of that Dana Carvey SNL skit done in the late 80s/early 90s. That was one of the funniest things I have ever seen.

This show, rather this type of show, is becoming the only way to get political news. The only way you should watch politics today is if BOTH sides of an issue are represented and willing to shout (or shoot) each other down. So much of the current hate radio (read that as Conservative radio) is so biased as to be useless, insulting drivel. Even some network news (like FOX) no longer makes any effort of pretending to be unbiased. In this election season, lets realize the importance of shows of this nature, well thought out and well produced.

The first political show that has a lot of yelling and screaming. Morton Kondracke and Fred Barnes now have their own show on Fox News (The Beltway Boys) and it's more civilized.

this used to be one of my favorite shows when the regular panelists were pat buchanan, fred barnes, jack germond and mort kondracke. the panelists that are on now are less entertaining, especially that hag eleanor clift.

A bunch of old men yelling at each other.

This was lame when it first aired eons ago, and ran out of whatever flatulence it had soon after. Just a boring shouting match between so-called "pundits" who are so out of touch you have to wonder what universe they're living in. Maybe these so-called "pundits" should get out of the rarefied atmosphere of the TV studio and DC cocktail party circuit and experience the real world every decade or so. But then again, they'd have to make an effort, think, appraise their preconceived notions and decode fresh intake. That's too much to expect of someone who's overpraised, overrated, overpaid. overstroked and sated with filet mignon, lobster tails and martinis some political hack or lobbyist paid for.

Definitely the most fun news show. I dont take much of what they say seriously, but McLaughlin is a riot .

Great to hear different opinions from various journalists.

A nice fast paced discussion of issues. Plus, you get to hear the host call on Mor-ton.

The best way to pass the time on sunday mornings!

I like political shows. However, this show is irritating in that the participants have to yell over each others' voices and interrupt each other in order to try to say what they want to say. Please be courteous and speak one at a time like the persons in Sunday morning political shows!
