I thought when they killed all those people that they were going to start getting new characters. The old story line was becoming tiring; but then I am so sick and tired of sammy, man she has fought gangsters and won, lying cheating etc. and she keeps going on and on and on I am so tired of her. And one more thing I thought that when you were dead and embalmed you were just dead. I would like to know how you come back to life once you have been embalmed. Please explain that to my 12 year old niece. I think, the storyline with all the dead people being on an island and alive and just so much in love with marlena, the person that was supposed to have killed them is a joke. And how many more times is stefano going to return to life and plot and scheme and never spend one day in jail. Get real. This show really is getting to suck and I used to rush home just to watch it. I give this show a 3 because I do like to watch it once in a while, but the whole killing thing and now them being stuck on some island is just ridiculous. I like that they are changing the story line up a little now. The killings were getting depressing. I would have to say my favorite character is Shawn because he is so HOTT! Sammy is so great I love her character. I like Belle, too. Well, if the show gets Marlena and all the rest of the characters it killed off back, then I will be very happy!

I do agree with some of the people that the killings are getting to old but if you all watch this week Alice Horton comes back, Roman comes back, so actully all of the charcaters start to come back one by one but this week 4/24-4/28 Marlena comes back and so do her victims that she killed, SO YOU BETTER STAY TUNED!!!!! babyblue eyes in ohio

I think that Days of Our Lives is the best Soap of all the Soaps that are on air. People cant see it that its because of the Serial Killing that the ratings are high as ever. So what if the killings are getting to old. People claims that James reily is a stupid writer and Days used to be nice and now its ugly. Hello, if what you guys think is true, then why the hell is the ratings going up and not down. I just think that Days is the best entertaintment ever. You just have to put away your anger and watch the show as it is. Days rocks and it will continue to rock. No other Soaps has the guts to do the unthinkable thats why days is so hot now. i feel in the end the entire daytime soap world will be rocked when the current storyline ends just keep watching good or bad it still glues you to your seat when its time for days. critics said gone with the wind was terrible but look at the lergacy it stil has .i am merely saying when you are the best there is no doubt no matter what is said . margret mitchels book gone with the wind would have merely been old paper gathering dust if someone had not ben inspired by her writing and made the greatest movie of all time and created legends to be spoken of for years to come. i trust mr.corday and the talent he hires to make this storyline work it takes everyone working together cast writers directors all.without risk takers there is no drama.without drama there is no daytime.

I use to love the show. Now, I am appalled! The day they killed off Alice Horton was the day my remote control killed off this show! The stalker story line has gone waaaaay too far. It's just sad when a great show is reduced to such trash. A show does not need to be tasteless to have good ratings. Young and the Restless is a perfect example.

The best show ever! I will keep watching no matter who they kill off, bring back, or repossess. Keep up the great work DOOL cast!

You know, I've never seen much of this show, but I've seen the previews. I respect any show that has the guts to kill of its characters, but that's just me.

I love this soap! It's my favourite! I hated all soaps till I began watching this one. It's such an entertaining show especially whenpeople are getting framed for the killings of so many. Oh yeah... Rex is soooo hot!

I love Days. I have been watching this show since I was 6 and am now 45. I enjoy the story lines. However, I don't agree with killing off people that have been a part of this show for years. Maggie, Abe, Caroline, possibly Roman, Tony again, Jack, Victor.....they have been so supportive of this show. Why is the writer/producer doing this? Is this the beginning of the end for Days, or is it budget reasons? Can anymore tell me why there are so many cuts?

This program used to be great. Reilly is a horrible writer with NO RESPECT for the theme of this program nor the characters that made it great. The array of teen stories are pathetic and the newcomers lacking in talent. Days more than ever needs the return of Patch and Kayla. No more of Reilly and his gimmicky plot driven drivel.

This can be really funny at times, but it's getting a bit too silly. I worry that you can literally stop watching for weeks at a time then pick it up as if nothing's much changed...which it hasn't. But, some good characters.

Love the new storyline...but get rid of the overly righteous John and Marlena! Let's see them be HUMAN again, not saints!

I have been watching Days since I was about 4. My mom watched and my grandma watched it. The storylines are crazy sometimes (like Marlena and the devil - I quit watching there for a while), but it is a soap opera.

It used to be excellent but now I don't ever watch it.

Days of Our Lives is the only soap opera that I can stand to watch. I have been watching it for so many years. It's the greatest! The cast of Days is awesome. It truly is the greatest soap and show of all time!

I don't really even know what else to say but that DAYS IS SO WONDERFUL! and to say thanx to the writers and to the late Betty and what's-his-name Corday that thought up DAYS, and made it possible for me to watch it every day, ( Sorry I couldn't remember his name. ) and to the actors and actresses. Anyways, I would recommend DAYS to anybody because it is so wonderful. And before I go, let me say 1 last thing: DAYS OF OUR LIVES RULEZ!!!!!

If the writing was better, it be even better. The only reason I watch is to see Sami and Lucas and Mimi and Rex though Sami and Lucas so belong together after ten years of waiting!

I've been watching days for like 7yrs and it's the best soap followed by Passions. They need to leave poor Hope and Marlena alone. Every year Hope is kidnapped and Marlena of course is stocked by the Dimeras. They need to pick on somebody new for a change. I miss some of the oldies,they need to bring back Stephano, Vivian and of course that nutty ol' Susan. DAYS RULES!!!

Ok, I know they get a little wild with the plot sometimes, but all in all Days is the ONLY soap worth watching. They've done an awesome job with character selection and keeping a base sense of reality which is far too uncommon with other soaps.

At one time this show would have been at least a 4...I used to catch it from the seveties (Marlena and her twin Samantha, Doug/Julie) through the eighties (Bo/Hope 80's, the Salem Strangler, Anna/Tony) the nineties (Marlena posessed, Stefano and company, Vivian, Kristen/Susan, Sammy/Carrie/Austin)...and it has been a great show with a rich history...but right now it has lost its direction with a huge focus on the younger crowd and slamming the door on its past. Tried to give it a chance again, but I could barely watch it. It wouldn't be so bad if the formula was working...last time I checked the shows ratings were falling...the producers need to be careful...remember what NBC did to one of the best soaps on daytime (ANOTHER WORLD) when it began its fall...

I have watched Days since I was 4 (early 80's).. It is still my favorite soap. I love the Chloe and Brady story line the most latley. It has had some low peek times but it climbing up, and the story lines go along quite fast which is great!! Two thing I think is bothering me the most about this soap is Stefano. I think it's getting old and the sci-fi story lines. But that's my opinion.

I've watched this show since I was a child--my mom watched it and still does. It's still highly entertaining although it has gotten progressively sillier as the years go on. However I prefer to escape from the real world anyway, so it's fine. Peter Reckell and Kristian Alfonso have the best chemistry for a couple on any soap.

At what point and time is Hope going to grow up? I have been watching Days for more years than I care to say, and Hope still plays the spoiled little rich kid. She is always in trouble and always needs a man to get her out of it. Hope wants to be so much of a macho woman but comes of as a whimp, billia's got more going for tha Hope will ever have. I can put up with the goofy plots and most chnges in charaters but the on going saga of Bo and Hope is enough to make me stop watching forever. I really feel sorry for the writers no one is that good.

No offense meant, but you guys are all phsycos! The only thing these shows are good for is making fun of them and even that gets old after about one and a half episodes. Don't you see it? People who watch these shows get hooked and then they can't stop! Someone mentioned that when the show wan't good anymore, it was like a piece of her had died- a common side effect from watching too many soap operas.

AUSTIN AND GRETTA IN VIRTUAL REALITY EDEN (PULEEEZE), CHARACTERS BEING PUT ON TRIAL IN HEAVEN WHILE THEY ARE IN COMAS, ISABELLA'S GHOST, AND NOW WE HAVE TO SUFFER THRU ALIENS. I'M SAD TO SAY THAT THATS ONLY NAMING A FEW. AND I WISH THEY'ED FINISH A STORYLINE ONCE IN AWHILE, WHAT WAS IN VIV'S BASEMENT FREEZER AT THE TOWNHOUSE? WHAT HAPPENED TO HATTIE? IS ABE BRANDON'S DADDY OR WHAT? NOW WE HAVE TO WATCH A BUNCH OF TEENAGERS SORT OUT THEY'RE FEELINGS! GOOD GRIEF, OK NOW I'M JUST VENTING...SORRY. I WATCH NOW ONLY IN HOPES OF SEING IT GO BACK TO THE GOOD OL' DAYS OF ROMANCE, BETRAYAL, LOST LOVES AND BACK STABBERY (IS THAT A WORD?)

A great show, I just wish they'd quit it with the ridiculous sci-fi type storylines. Enough already!
