GH has been great lately. I love the Carly/Alcazar storyline. They remind me of the early Luke and Laura days when she wouldn't admit her feelings for him. Carly and Alcazar have incredible chemistry together. I would like nothing better than to see them together, I just hope her feelings return for her children. As for Courtney, I never liked her with Jason- bring back him and Elizabeth- they were great together and never got a fair chance. But in the meantime, I also like her with Ric, if she has to be with someone. Also, please let Sonny find the truth out about his daughter Kristina, before she becomes a teenager.

I have been watching GH for 30 yrs. I don't understand what the heck the writters are doing with this Carly - Alkazar thing. Just bring her back to Sonny and the new baby and Michael and stop screwing with a good thing. Fans watch because these two are GREAT together. Second, Bring Laura Back!!! Luke is a mess when she is gone. I have been watching them over the years, they need to be together and stay together once and for all. AZ FAN

I WILL CONTINUE TO TURN OFF THE PROGRAM (GENERAL HOSPITAL) IF THEY KEEP GOING WITH THE CARLEY & ALCAZAR THEME. I HATE IT. IT IS SO FAR STRETCHED AND IS INSULTING TO THE VIEWER. LEAVE CARLEY & SONNY ALONE!

There are things I like and don't like about this show. I like Maurice Benard a lot and the mob storyline, but to have him and it dominate the show is just wrong. Anthony Geary is fine as Luke, but it's the same old thing over and over. But to diminish The Quartermaines and those great actors just slaps in the face of long time fans. Soaps should be about ensemble, and character building not about a freakin mob family. This is not The Sopranos!

This program has gone down completely. The focus on favorites of the producer and writer destroyed GH. IT is not ensemble any longer. I am sick of the mobsters and Jason and his blank stares. I am tired of every Geary wants he gets, he has ruined many characters due to apparent ego. Nikolas is useless as a Cassadine. Stefan was terrific as the different and vulnerable, romantic and yet powerful Cassadine. GH blew it when they failed to tell the back story of the true Prince Stefan and instead promoted that boring Nikolas and the even worse, new and rather frail Emily. In short, GH has nothing to offer any longer. Its lost its focus and its completely driven by promoting the few at the expense of the many. Viewers are not listened to UNLESS they agree with the horrible writers and awful producers.

GH is so great! lol I watch it every day and never miss an episode! Sometimes the storyline is a little chezzy, like with Emily ALMOST dying of canser and then being dramaticallly saved ny nickolos. And the whole lucky card thing with Jax and his father, but overall its so fun to watch and get caught up in! Hott guys and cool storylines, what else could a girl ask for!

This makes me wish I could rate higer than a 5 because in my book, there is no greater soap than GH. Having watched the show since I was child, I love the characters with their incredible talent and ways of touching our hearts. I love the storylines that often go deeper than most superficial soaps. It has lasted through the years and by far with no competitors, reigns supreme over daytime tvland.

My grandmother watched GH; my mother watches GH; I've watched GH for 25 years, and now my daughter watches it. It is a great relaxation after work. (I tape it every day.)

I stopped watching General Hospital. Its storylines are stupid and insulting. It should be called Mobville. It is basically about the same four people, Sonny, Jason, Carly and Courtney and their egos. They run the town with their sick, distorted version of what they call the truth. It is disgusting how soaps can make heros out of bad guys. And the characters and couples that are worthy never get any air time. The same characters lose all the time and the same ones win. Boring and frustrating to watch. So long GH.

At one time, I wouldn't believe I'd be saying this, but GH is not the show it once was. The writing, yuck. The characters are all used up. They have destroyed the character of Sonny, and Sonny and Carly with it. Nobody has anything interesting happening, and the best actor on daytime was just killed off! I don't see chemistry between anyone. Jax and Sam? Yawn. Even Luke is getting a little boring. Courtney should be dead by now. At one time I'd be crazy if I missed an episode, now I don't miss it at all, and I've watched GH for 15 years. Very sad.

General Hospital is t he only Soap I watch. But if Carly and SOnny Split up I wont watch it anymore. They are my favorite couple....

Well About a year ago... General Hospital was the happening soap,everyone day was exciting.. Until Vanessa Marcil left again. I now find Gh very boring..So I give it a 3 stars.. Gh bring Back Brenda.. I think they were stupid to leave her go again.. Nickie

I have hated soap operas for 25 years, and I was forced to watch GH when I lived with my sister last year, and got hooked. I am upset that the old Nicholas quit though!

I think gh is so good you could take it prime time.You keep it very interesting. It would be nice to see more couple's on the show.Like jason and courtney.Journey lover 4- ever.

i tuned out after 30 years a few months ago. talking with friends who still turn it on for the noise tells me there is still nothing to watch. fire frons, guza and the rest of the writers. give maurice, tamara & steve burton at least a few months off and fire the twit who plays courtney. maybe then gh will return to a soap with an ensemble cast who interact in and around a hospital. this ex-viewer is sick and tired of having new, untalented actors given all the airtime (courtney) and the same rehashing of old and tired storylines. ok yeah maybe if tiic remembered the actual history of the show and characters!

I would give it a 5 if they'd get rid of Carly (Tamara Braun)> She almost ruins the show for me.

I have been watching GH for 24 years. I got addicted from the good old Luke and Laura days. I do however think Luke needs to retire, that whole story line is getting so old and his character has run the full gammit. It seems GH is holding onto the possibilty of re-introducing the Laura character which is also ever so old. Does anyone else believe Emily is a really bad actress, sure she's beautiful but a terrible actress and where did they get Lydia? I don't know who is doing the hiring for this soap, but if they continue at this pace with bad drawn out scripts, bad actors and renewing contracts of actors that really need to go their viewer rating is going to slip fast. p.s. Get rid of Elizabeth!

At one time, I would have rated this show a 5. But now, it has to be one of the most unwatchable and grotesque shows on television. GH used to be about romance and intrigue. Now it's the ghost of its former self with the mob violence, incest, and women dressing up as men. No wonder the ratings have been falling. This soap needs new writers stat.

GH has a history of being a great soap. It has had a shakey last few years but I am hopeful that it will improve.

Carly is great she has grown to be a really good actress. but the story line is so bad, who kidnaps a woman and keeps her in a room for 6 months, get real let jason save her! maxie should go! give the kid back to alexis,

This once great soap is now a cartoon of the Sopranos.How can a network allow this shoddy writing? I hate the mob and the violence. I wish they would get writers that know how to write about romance, adventure and intrigue. Most of all I miss the romance and the couples that could have compelled me to keep watching. I loved Skye and Jax. I could even get into Rick and Liz if they fleshed out a decent story. Nik and Em and Zander could be interesting too if someone knew how to write the story. Ned and Alexis could have potential. The current teens could be great too. Get rid of Sonny/Jason/Carly/Courtney in one last violent bomb story and then give us back our soap!

I LOVE THE WRITING OF THE SHOW. IT KEEPS ME GUESING AND I LIKE THAT. I ALSO LIKE THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE MYSTERIES.

Anybody who gets caught up in soap operas needs their head examined.

I like the new Gia much more than the old one. She has more soul and a greater smile. I hope that she ends up with Zander. Also, I thought that I would hate the new Emily because the original actress was exceptional, but the new actress in the role is actually quite dignified and interesting. However, what is this with dumping Felicia? Come on, don't you think that we will soon see repetiion and boredom in the whole Sonny/Carly/Courtney/Jason storyline? How stupid do the producers think that we are? The show needs Kristina Wagner, as well as other veteran actresses on the show, to brighten things up and to add some variety.

I think Skye and Sonny should have more scenes together, simply because I find it quite enjoyable to watch when Sonny doen't like someone. I also think that Gia is a very boring character and the original was much much more funner to watch. I also thought the frienship of Alexis and Sonny was sooo funny and somehow they should find their way back into friendship, and he finds his way to his baby. Thanks!

I have been a GH viewer since the late 1980's. Unfortunately I was not old enough to catch the whole Luke and Laura romance therefore that is all lost to me. My Luke and Laura are Sonny and Brenda I was VERY disapointed when they chose to pair her up with Jax who seemed a better match for Skye. I dislike the character of Carly but put up with her when Sarah Brown played the role. I do not like Sonny and Carly and find they take up too much air time. I would like to see Carly and Jason althought she and Ric seem a perfect match!(nasty+nasty=nasty!) I dsilike Jason with Courtney and find her character very enerving. I hope Ric turns out to be Sonny's brother.(full not half) I wish AJ had more of a role here, you had me on the edge the of my seat when he was with Courtney. As for Skye I think she should be with Mac, then you can bring back Miranda for Jax and have another Aussie triangle. Sorry to see Felicia go, but I wanted Luke and alexis together but now I don't know who like her with Luke or Cameron. Too bad that side of the story as well as the Quartemain bit is always cut out to show scene with Sonny and dumb Carly. I hope she gets booted off...what a nasty nasty character.

i used to be a die hard fan and miss the hey days (scorpio, anna, duke, felicia, frisco) i stopped watching for a long time and then i heard brenda was coming back and i found myself completely engrossed again. there is no one like brenda. i've stopped watching again because 1) i think they were incredibly stupid to let vanessa marcil go, and 2) the stories and writing are so weak, its painful to watch. even sonny who i adore, i can't bear to watch. the show is called GENERAL HOSPITAL not SECOND RATE MAFIA FAMILY. if i wanted that i would watch the sopranos. also summer, courtney, and elizbeth are unbearable, insipid, totally unlikable characters. i'll go so far as to say i don't like the courtney as a character, an actress, or as a person. SHE IS SOOO BORING it makes me want to cry. i longed to see brenda and jason together. it was such a fresh idea and they had good chemistry but the writers insisted on shoving courtney down our throats (blechhh). now brenda is gone *sigh*. also i really liked rick for awhile but all this underhanded behavior is tiresome and i fear that it won't pay off in the end. jax is ruined. skye is horrid. alexis has been reduced to a screeching mess (i leave the room whenever she comes on). and ned and faith are comic relief (but i'm not laughing and i don't think that that was the writer's intentions). i do still love felicia. scotty is amusing. zander is underused. and the new lucky is a very nice improvement. but other than that, i've decided to stop watching AGAIN, until i start to hear whisperings that brenda is coming back. until then i will mourn.

Brenda is gone, and Guza has destroyed Sonny by having him claim Carly is who he loves, (Brenda is the love of Sonny's life) The Show has become a very bad imitation of The Sopranos, where most the characters have been changed so badly they are not recognizable anymore. Jax, one the white knight in shining armour is now just a creep, Alexis is a nutcase, Laura is a nutcase, Elizabeth is now just a jealous tattletale...Guza, you have totally RUINED General Hospital!!!! I love OLTL lately...they had a change of writers...GH is WAY PAST DUE!!!!!!

Jason and Brenda are great together. Don't let Sonny get hurt. Let Alexus go free and get with the shrink. Jason does not click with Sonny's sister. Put Sky and Jacks back together. Hit Balwin in the mouth. Don't let Ned win. And stick a foot up the old man Quartermaine,but he's great.

i've been watching since high school, maybe before that...and i never felt like i had to watch everyday to keep up, but now i want to watch it to see what happens next....it's better than its been in years

It is the only soap I watch, I just read about the others to stay up with them

GENERAL HOSPITAL COULD BE DOING BETTER AS FAR AS THE STORYLINE GOES. THEY HAVE GREAT ACTORS/ACTRESSES. COURTNEY MUST BE TAKEN OFF OR CHANGE HER CHARACTER...TOOO BORING. ALSO, HAS NO CHEMISTRY WITH JASON. AS FAR AS JAX AND SKYE, THEY BELONG TOGETHER. THEY ARE BUSINESS PEOPLE AND UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER. THEIR RELATIONSHIP IS NOT JUST ATTRACTION, BUT EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL.

This show has always been great and will always be great...And the ratings are on the rise!

General Hospital is hte best written Soap ever! I do have to complain about the Luke-Laura plot. To be honest - it sucks! If Laura wants off the show - just let her go! My 7 year old could have thought up a better story line. I love the fact that Brenda has returned! It has givien the show a slight make over and boy does it look great! I would like to see more of the Nikolas Cassadine "turning into his father" plot. You headed right for it - then stopped dead in your tracks!

Excellent soap. It does have its faults, but with the return of Vanessa Marcil, the show has improved greatly.

I have never been so hoocked to GH before, i have always liked it, but now that Brenda is back and she is not dying, I love it. I really hope her and Jax get back together and knock Skye back down. Skye is way too fake, she is really evil and heart and she tries to be nice. But i am so happy that Brenda has returned. Her and Jax are the best.

I have been a GH fan for 20+ years (since grade school), and I never miss an episode. I recently purchased soapnet on my satellite so that I won't have to miss one either. It is by far the best soap on T.V.,. It blows me away how real and down to earth the story lines and characters are every year, year after year. If you are tired of vampires, witches and talking dolls, check it out!

My sole reason for watching this is Nancy Grahn. She has to be one of the most intriguing,compelling actresses in daytime. Back in the Santa Barbara days I knew she was special. There is a sexiness about her that is not the obvious. There are lots of prettier women of all ages on the show but she has a quality that just puts her in a different level. I sense that Julia(Santa Barbara) and Alexis are very much Nancy Grahn. She makes everyone around her better.Love on Ya,NLG.

I have watched General Hospital for 14 years and I love it now more than ever. It's great having Brenda back!!! I tune in every day.

I've been watching GH regularly since summer of 1987, but was watching much earlier than that (when my mother would tune in). I have now been waiting 4 years for the return of Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil)....I am so excited!!

Since the new writers have taken over the show is fantastic. THe twists in the storylines these days keeps me glued to the set. Nancy is doing a great job of acting w/the death of her sister. Jason is back & Brenda is coming back. Daytime just doesn't get any better than this

I think Sonny has a right to know that Alexis is carrying his child and not Ned's. Even though, Christina died to protect Alexis'secret, it is still not right for Sonny not to know that he is going to be a father. If Sonny knew this, then maybe he would consider changing his lifestype somewhat which I find not so bad because he is a good guy even though he is a mobster sort-of-speaking. I hate seeing him with Carlie, she is not right for him and don't deserve a man like him. I think he and Alexis should be together, especially now that she is carrying his child but I felt this way, even before she became pregnant. I don't think Christina's death should be for nothing... meaning I think Sonny should know that he is the father and not Ned. Ned and Alexis aren't good together...Sonny and Alexis should be together. They would make a good couple. I hope you will consider putting Alexis and Sonny together. By the way, Sonny is a "hunk". He should be voted one of the top ten's sexiest men.

I have watched this show for almost 20 years and I have never been as disappointed as now when they turned Liz into just another bed hopper. At least with Jason you new the past relationship, but to jump into bed with Zander just makes her the next daytime slut.

The changes in personality for some of the characters is really bringing the show down. Especially Roy (his daughter and pride and joy never even mentioned anymore is still an FBI agent). And he recently was helping the police department. Now he is a power hungry mobster again and he wasn't even good at it before! And Felicia and him are a terrible match. She is not that stupid. Why can't people on the show improve for the better, stay that way but have the occassional slip. Let AJ and Zander show some improvement and stay at that level. When is Jason going to stop playing counselor for Sonny and Carly? At this point Jason should have his own love interest (and pursue it) not jump everytime Carly calls. Liz and Zander do NOT make a good couple but they could become close friends because of their shared experience and substitute for her missing friendship with Nicolas. They could also recast Emily and bring some dimension, intelligence and sincerity back to the Quartermaines. Where is Lucas? Liz was living at the Brownstone so why is she staying at her studio? Maybe Jason could suggest that she stay at the penthouse with him. (possibly driven by a little jealously over Zander). It would give her something to do to decorate the penthouse. Help her clear her mind. Jason and her could get to know each other better.
