After watching AMC full time for seven years, I gave up. From late 1998 I watched as veteran actors were sidelined, let go, or bumped down to recurring status, all so ABC could pump up the teen factor on the show. Well, they lost this viewer with the firing of Amelia Marshall (Belinda Keefer), Tom Michaels ( Tim Dillon), James Kiberd (Trevor "Porkchop" Dillon) and last but not least Robin Mattson (Janet Green Dillon) and Alexis Mantra (Amanda Dillon). Good actors, so much promise to be more than what they were given. Amelia Marshall never got a storyline of her own and was used more for window dressing than anything else, Tom Michaels was a young man ready for his first major storyline (Romance??) but was let go because they wanted to beef up the characters image, and I can't even begin to tell you how angry I was at the firing of James and Robin! Two excellent actors that had given AMC some of their most entertaining moments, and what the characters didn't have anything more to tell?? No, that's a cop out, they had a lot more to give, the network just had their own ideas.

What can I say this show is just AWSOME!! I can't get enough of it. Finally a gay charcter and a Main one at that not one they can just sweep under the carpet like One Life To Live did so many summers ago. The story lines have really picked up and things are getting interesting.

A really great show! Some talented people - Erica, Hayley, Mateo, Dimitri, etc. Only one complaint - don't drag out stories so long. But then again it is a soap!

i can't stand becca and jake they both need to leave the show and ryan and jillian need to have a baby bye bye jake please get read a becca .

until recent story lines emerged amc is going to only get an okay rating from me. it had potential with the liza-adam reunion, greenlee-leo chemisty, and the bianca breakthrough gay story line. However since leo dummped greenlee he is utterly boring not to mention looking less attractive next to an even uglier laura than the first one(who thought that could be possible). and is it me or does bianca's tone of voice on a constant whine mode. GET GREENLEE AND LEO BACK TOGETHER THEY ARE THE BAD COUPLE THAT YOU LOVE TO WATCH. THIS CHOIR BOY LEO LOOK IS JUST NOT STICKING. ps when the hell is maria coming back edmund's character needs his equal!

I love it. it is the best show ever.

GREAT SOAP HAVE WATCHED FOR 25 years.

I have been an AMC for over 20 years... I tape it every day and enjoying watching it... My favorite characters of all time are: Daisy, Erica, Adam, Phoebe and Dimitri...I do miss some of the faster story lines and the past diversity...

After 30-plus years AMC is still going strong. They have great characters and the new additions add to the appeal of every age group. I enjoy the pairing of Greenlee and Leo. Liza and Adam are perfect for each other and when you throw Arlene in the mix it makes for some fascinating scenes. Long live AMC and all those involved with the show.

This soap FINALLY resolved some of thoses stories that dragged out WAY to long but I have a different problem now. Erica Cane. I used to like her but now I'm wishing she's "return to glamour" and go on long modeling shoot. I think the writers are ruining this character. I hate her constant whining about Alex. Her telling Edmund what she thinks has gotten old. I hate the relationship she has with Bianca. I tense up whenever thoses 2 have a scene together. Why can't she just marry David and go on a LONG honeymoon? This is my new thing. I must vent! It's like the wrighters think the viewers are stupid! My latest hang up is the Ryan, Jake, Jillian triangle. Jillian only married Jake to help him get custody of Colby but made no secret that she loved Ryan. Jake found out Colby isn't his and left Jillian without even saying good bye. What's so tough about giving jake the boot anyway? Another annoyance is this Stewart thing. We waited FOREVER for his return but only got to see his big reunion with Adam for a few minutes. I'm thinking the viewers would like to see how Ester is dealt with among other things. Quickly, why did Alex name that horse Scorpio?

I have watched this show evolve for 28 years and I still love it.

I hate Bianca. Her voice is like the sound of dolphins squeaking. I am sorry that her father died, but I was hoping it would shock her into taking a vow of silence. Gillian and Ryan are two more that I am not fond of on the show. I was hoping that their plane would crash before one more stupid word of love could be uttered. I hate Greenlee and like Leo; therefore, I can tell it will be a rough road ahead on that front. Plus, if Stuart had remained with that hideous Esther woman for one more day I would have started fast forwarding EVERY second of the show except for Tad/Liza/Adam.

I love this show, i enjoy watching it everday. I love the Dimitri and Stuart disappearances They have great ideas...the only problem i have with it, is they drag it out wayyy to much! And I cant stand Becca-Scott-Leo-Greenlee-Gillian_ -Ryan BoRiNg!

This soap has gotten VERY sad.What happened? Theses story lines are tooooo slow. I can miss it for a week but actually I missed nothing. Will "dead" Stewart show up? I'm at a point now where I don't care. Will "dead" dimetri ever show his dumb face? Once again, I don't care, Will stupid jake ever be found? I DON"T CARE! Will Ryan ever find out about his financial backer? Who cares? I've just about had it with this show. The last soap I watched that was this slow I quit watching and I'll do it again. Any opinions? I think amc have some great story lines at this time!! but Stuart needs to be back in pinevalley. Once Adam finds out Arlene is aware of his brother still alive all hell is going to break lose!!!! Neither one of them needs anyone special in their lives now!!!!!!

I would just like to say that All My Children is the best soap opera ever! And I will always watch it as long as I can see!!!!!!

This show has everything you could want from a soap: Romance (Ryan & Gillian, Tad & Dixie), Comedy (Arlene, Tad, Opal), Drama (Adam & Liza, Dimitri's secret return). These are just a few examples of the many fabulous storylines.

They have carried the Adam thing too far. We need some resolve. And marrying Arlene, well that was too much. And we wan't Stuart to dump Esther and come back to pine valley!

This would be better if they'd put Ryan and Gillian back together!

All My Children is great. The characters and plots are very interesting. I'm interested in whether or not "Maria" will return.

Susan Lucci finally won her 'sympathy' Oscar. Edmund Gret needs to trim his eyebrows. Hayley needs to stop her whining and start drinking again. Too many little kids on the show. Tad - stand up straight! Your shoulder are always hunched over. Dixie has come into my good graces as of late. Liza is just hlat out a bad looking woman. Her mom is a whithered old prune. Gilian -you could be my princess any day - you are quite the good looking one. Some of thelines that come out of your pretty mouth are horrendous! What the hell is that accent of yours? I still give it a 4 after all of my complaining.

All My Children is a great soap opera because it has last so long & still has a great audience.

I enjoy watching Erica Cane and Palmer Cortland. These two characters are fantastic and make this soap very worth while watching.
