The best soap going with B&B running a notch behind it. This show is better than most of the evening programs, that's why a lot of us tape it and watch it at night when we get home from work. Some of the older and middle-aged actors are superb and it's very interesting when their characters are finally given good storylines. This show is a great distraction from our real lives.

I would like to see the end of Diane Jenkins and have Phyllis and Jack raise Kyle. Larry Warner is a very different and interesting character and someone that keeps viewers on pins and needles. He needs an interesting lover. Jill needs to get a life. Nikie and Victor needs to stay together this time and stay out of Nick, Sharon's and Victoria's lives Nick needs to start the forgiving process, he is no angel. He and Sharon give young couples hope when they are together and they both are great with Cassie and Noah. Sharon needs to become pregnant. Get them back together. Viewers have to wait to long for these stories to end. Victoria needs to get married and have a child we need to see if she would be a great Mother as Nick is a Father especially being Newman's.

I do not like the show. Feel it should be called "The Young and the Talentless"

young and the restless is a great soap.We know that Nick and Sharon have had their ups and downs but recently Sharon keeps taking punches from Nick, who we all know has cheated on her how many times ( 3 or more ) I would like to see Sharon throw some punches of her own and stand up for herself and not use her kids in this fight.I would like her to tell him right off and not to wait at home for him to see if he is in the mood to talk or just sulk like he has been doing.I think Sharon needs to go out and tell Nick to shape up or ship out there are more fish in the sea. As for Jack/Philis/Diane I can see this going places especially adding a plot with Isabella in it which could lead to her troubled past with Pauls worst enemy...I could write more but I do have a life to get back to before my eyes are set on The Young and The Restless in an hour..

Boring. All soaps suck. I can't understand how people can waste their time sitting at home watching this crap day in day out. Get a job people!

I have watched this show for 16 years and I love it!! Like many shows that have been on for any length of time, it has had it's ups and downs, but in my opinion it has been daytime's consistently best drama. All I can say is, when this show is hot, it's unbeatable!

This show would have gotten a 5, but I for one am sick and tired of seeing BREASTS hanging out every single day on almost all the women. Don't the producers realize that mostly women watch the show? I never see a butt or any other part of a male displayed on this show. The story lines do drag on , but I am glad to see Nick and Vic back together.Waiting for a good cat fight with Diane and Phyliss, hope the latter wins! Susie

The Y&R still needs better writing. Fresh and new storylines would bring my rating up much higher. They're still resurrecting old storylines for new characters.....I can go days without watching.

The show is excellent but don't they believe in lighting on the set? The show is always so dark looking.

they shoold get rid of mat he does nothing for the show i think chris &paul shood get back together i love to aee mack &bill together they are aboutthe only couple that keeps a clean outlook on teenage behavior i hope they can stay that way for a while there is enough sex on the show to keep one couple happy just being themselves

It's getting on my nerves.

I LOVE THIS SHOW! Everything that happens on the show is bound to happen to anyone in real life! Thats why I love this show because it deals with real problems that young teens and adults deal with throughout their life!

Will I really like this show I started this show when the Newmans kids was coming home from School. I really like all the story lines except yes they are playing Victor and Nikki story line to death they need new love interst and I love that Nikki has come to her own like businesses now she just need a new love interest that is interest in her mind and body. Oh and please don't make Victora and Ryne like her perants that is just old. another thing that is getting old is Jell and the duchese they need some how get along the past is the past the duches needs a new love interest that will conflict with her family like Brock and Mac and even Jill. and you need to bring back oliva sister back to deal with all of them please. I think that overall, Y&R is wonderful soap because the writers deal with a lot of the social ills that face many of us today. I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline with Raul battling diabetes. We often think that diabetes just affect older people, but that's not often the case especially when our youth and even some of us adults are pulled in many directions to eat foods that are not healthy to our bodies. The only complaint that I have with the Y&R team is the overhauling of the storylines. They drag on and on. The Britney saga, was to say the least tiresome. I was glad though that Mac came through to Billy to show him what kind of girl Britney was. When will we find out that Victor is the father of little Abbey, and when will he and Ash become a couple. Victor and Nikki in my opinion is played out.

I tape the show to watch in the evenings when the day is finally done and I get to relax. The Matt Clark storyline has been pretty hot (even though all the plastic surgery in the world couldn't change a guy that much) and I've really enjoyed it. I would like to see Larry Wharton be a regular cast member....bad guy turned good. I think they could get lots of stories out of him! It's time for Billie and Mac to get it together too, don't you think? Let's quit messing around!! Whatever happens, just keep 'em coming. I have been and continue to be "an avid fan"!

To MissyPj--I see you wrote your review 7 months ago... would you believe they STILL focus so much attention on that Brittany/Billy/MacKenzie triangle? I agree it was good... for a little while. Now I just don't care how it ends up. I simply can't find myself sticking up for MacKenzie the way I was once able to. Much more interesting, has always been I believe, Nick and Sharon's relationship--may it live long forever, and may Nick get out of the current mess he's in, being accused of selling bad extacy. Also great is the All-mighty Victor Newman... no one messes with him, except possibly Jack, who is also great in this show (and unlike Victor, Jack has a little sense of humor too!). Victor and Jack play such great rivals to one another. But, they just HAD to stick Victor with Diane, and stick him in this baby/not baby mess with Diane... I could live without Diane on the show, thank you very much. If I want to watch a seductress, I'd enjoy watching Phyllis win Jack over without much trouble... watch out, Jack!

I have watched this show since it's birth - that's right. I've seen it with good story lines and the bad one's (Victor's resurrection from the dead). It's time to move on. End the current storylines. They become boring after a few weeks. And what was the purpose of bringing Matt Clark's character back into the story - YUK! Now here's a story line - remember Paul Williams has a sister named Patty who was married to Jack Abbott for a few minutes before she tried to kill him by shooting him because she found out he slept with Diane Jenkins the night before they got married then she had a nervous breakdown and eventually was moved out of the story? bring her back into the story. Besides, Mary Williams needs to focus on someone other than Paul and Christine. You guys have given Mary way too much opinion ! 4/9 - Brilliant touch! B.B. King on the show was a nice surprise for both viewers and Jill Abbott. However, please don't let Jill get into some kind of love affair with this young new webmaster Sean. Don't even go there!

I've followed it for years. Victor must be at least 1000 yrs old but he still pulls the honeys. It's the only soap I watch when I'm home from work sick. The rest of the day is purposefully spent on court TV and talk shows.

I have no idea why this show takes so long to play out a story. I haven't watched it in a few years, but when I did, it seemed to take 1 week to get through 1 evening. Also, if Victor Newman had been my father, I would have killed him when I was 10.

Give us one storyline of a person or a couple that is financially challenged. And don't end it with them suddenly making it rich. Maintain it realistically. There are plenty of wealthy characters. How about at least one (or a couple) that don't have it so easy and are portrayed that way EVERY day.

This show is great. I've been watching it for years. Others I've chose to stop watching but this is a great. My husband actually get a kick out of the fact that I love this show and tape it daily if I miss it. He'll jokingly as "Oh how is Victor doing." My daughter is now interested and she goes "How is Mac doing". To cut this short the show and actors are wonderful!!!!

The Young and the Restless is one of my favorite soaps! The stories are great, as so are the characters. There's never a dull moment in "Genoa City"!!

Very boring. Who cares about a bunch of rich people. I find it very drab. They are copyng all of the other soaps(days and Passions) by putting youn people in it and the internet storylines. Gag me!

Definitely the story lines on this soap drag on and on but they are great story lines – not like some of those other soaps that get into these crazy things like people being possessed by demons… Some of the acting is a bit melodramatic but that almost makes it even more fun to watch.

Why can't theses stupid writers get a clue that viewers absolutley hate it when they drag storylines out to long? Take this Billy, Mac, and Britney triangle for example. It was intresting for the first few weeks but now I just find them annoying. Amc had a couple intresting storylines latley that were not intresting after a couple months. Last soap I watched where story lines dragged on to long I just quit watching. Maybe the viewers need a soap opera feedback page that goes directley to the main soap writers office or something to let them know how we feel about a certain story. Weather it be good or bad. Here's something new I just don't get. How come Victoria has to live with her mom or dad? Doesen't she make enough money to afford her own place? I'd think it was a parental support thing if she didn't just try to move in with Ryan. If she hates Dianne so much and wont live with her mom, GET YOUR OWN HOME!

Show is just too boring.

This show is now better than it was a few months ago but I just hate what they've done to Jill Abbot. Used to be you'd end up feeling kinda sorry for her after she pulled an evil prank but now I think everybody must hate her and it'll stay that way. What did Mac ever do to her? The prom thing got screwed up but that was no fault of Macs.Any opinions on this subject just e mail Missypj@earthlink.net. The best stories of all the soaps!

This show was good, then bad, then good,then bad, and now it is great! The storyline between Mackenzie and Billy always keeps the show interesting. And I hope that Phyllis is back to stay and stir things up a little. I love this show again and I hate to miss an episode!!

I love Nicholas Newman. I met him in real life and he is really nice and down to earth. The drama is great and I always like to see who Victor is going to be with each week.

This show moves at a snails pace, it is SO slow. And a few of the actors/characters are way too over the top and melodramatic, like Jill Abbott.Some plots never seem to end. But the reason Y&R is the top rated soap in the Neilsen's is obvious: storylines are flawlessly well developed. The show has balanced air time. All age groups are represented, and family relationships are key. This show knows that consistency and continuity is key in daytime. Victor puts me to sleep.

I religiously watch this soap opera. I truly rate this soap a #5 for the best soap in America.

It was a horrible plan to have Victor come back to life after they pronounced him dead & had his funeral.
