One of the best shows ever. John Ritter was hilarious. This is a show that I could watch over and over. I've seen all of the episodes and don't mind watching them again and again. One thing that's funny to me is how Suzanne Sommers (and I'm not hating on her) thought that she was so much more important than she actually was. Jack MADE that show. Him and Mr. Furley LOL!!

So good that you will laugh non stop. Watch this show you will fall in love withe all the charecters espeacially Jack.

Another show that sucked, if it wasn't for the girls this show would not have gotten out of the Pilot stage. This show makes Mel's Diner (Alice) look like pure virtue.

This is a show that people either liked or they don't. I happened to have liked it. Sure the sexual inneundo and slapstick was blatant, but that's what made the show. I liked John Ritter, I thought he had a talent for physical comedy that he could mix with a human kindness. The blondes on the show were stereotyped as typical dumb blondes unfortunately. Janet was perhaps smarter, but could she ever find a guy and move out? The Ropers played well by Norman Fell and Audra Lindley were better landlords, provided more laughs and were more entertaining than Mr Furley played by Don Knotts. Knotts was basically doing the same characteristics he was as Barney Fife. The first couple of seasons with Suzanne Sommers, Norman Fell, and Audra Lindley were funnier, zannier and better then after that it went down hill. Not the smartest show, but still very funny.

Thanx John Ritter.

John Ritter and Joyce DeWitt both did a wonderful job on this long running sitcom of the 70's. It was always one of my favorites, and even today I love watching the reruns. John Ritter was such a handsome man, and an even better comedian/actor. He is going to be missed by so many. RIP John Ritter.

A great show, remember the one when he goes to the party after taking some pills and a few drinks? He goes completely crazy dancing around. It was just the most funny thing I have ever seen!
Box Office 11/14/2003
We'll miss you John.....I still bust out laughing evertime I see Jack Tripper fall over a couch. So many classic characters. I think we all have a most memorable episode, one that really inspires us. A timeless show...

Great show..who could forget the show where he goes crazy at that party ( after taking some pills and a drink)
jackblack35 05/27/2003
here's why I like the show Joyce DeWitt and her tight jeans!..you can have the blonde Suzanne Somers! (plus Jack Tripper was one of TV's funniest characters ever!)
RebelYell1861 05/11/2003
Seems to be a waste of time really.

This used to be one of my don't miss shows. They were all like a part of my own family. Now, though, I watch it and think "wow, I don't remember this being so predictable and corny." I still enjoy going over to Nick at Nite and catching it every once in a while, but it's definitely not on my don't miss list.
getback 05/08/2003
just over rated another show copied form the english -why is that so great
Moosekarloff 04/28/2003
The only redeeming features of this cultural abortion were Norman Fell as Mr. Roper, Don Knotts as Mr. Furley, and Suzanne Somers' chest.

One of the best television sitcoms of all time. This show knew how to make you laugh and didn't waste time trying to be preachy or cute for the sake of cute. Sure, the plots were always the same involving a misunderstanding of some sort, but it really didn't matter as long as they could make you laugh every time. The characters are perfect. Jack Tripper, who is as coordinated as his name implies, lives monogomously with two women, all the while convincing the landlord that he's gay in order to be allowed to stay. The cast: Chrissy Snow, Jack's blonde and niave roomy. Janet Wood, the other roomy, a girl next door type. Stanley Roper, the landlord who's always laughing at his own jokes and mugging into the camera. Helen Roper, the landlord's oversexed wife, who wishes Stanley would help her with her "womanly urges" more often. Ralph Firley, the dopey, funny looking landlord in later episodes who's leisure suits and outrageous attire betrayed what he thought of himself: a self-styled ladies man. Larry, the upstairs neighbor, who looked like TWICE the "ladies man" Firley did, but was three times as dopey under the surface. There were later roommates too after the Crissy character left the show, but by then it didn't matter because "Three's Company" already had their niche and the remaining characters were popular enough to carry the show anyway. This is one of the best TV shows of all time.

great show. john ritter is so sexy
ChunkyLover53 02/16/2003
Three's Company has got to be one of the lamest TV shows that has ever aired. The acting was horrible. The jokes were not funny at all. Every episode was basically the same and involved some sort of misunderstanding. The physical comedy and double entendres were all just plain stupid. I don't understand how we can still be subjected to reruns of this horrible crap. Time to lock away this gargabe and throw away the key!
HEIDLEEHOPE 02/09/2003
This was my favorite....John Ritter was insane and playing a gay guy just to live with two women was hilarious, esp. with his best friend the gigilo, Larry, living right upstairs...oh and Mr and Mrs Roper were awesome...LOL!!!!!!
mysteryguyfrom mi 01/23/2003
One of the worst shows ever. It had one plot for EVERY episode...someone mis-understands someone else.
red630 12/09/2002
Caught this show on Nick at Night the other evening. What were we thinking. Does not hold up well at all.
kelly7655 11/29/2002
One of my favorite shows! For it's time, Three's Company deserves a lot of credit. It's a slapstick comedy full of sexual remarks and helarious personalities. John Ritter made the show what it was. He has natural talent of making people laugh, and always portrayed Jack Tripper as if he is him, not just playing the part. My favorite episode is where Janet takes Jack along on a dinner date with one of her clients. Jack ends up getting drunk. John Ritter's acting in this episode as a drunk is helarious. The misunderstandings and comedy of errors make this show a classic. Maybe I love it so much because I don't try to read into it.....I just use it for a good laugh.
SoSingular 11/06/2002
So what if it isn't rocket science? It did make people laugh, and there was obvious love and chemistry. It worked. However, it gave you nothing special to think about.
nikkiautry 10/25/2002
Oh my gosh....can you just say that this show was so stupid that it just made you laugh until you peed your pants??? Thats how I feel whenever I watch this show. I never liked Suzanne Sommers on there though. I was glad that she left after the first season. I liked Teri the best. This show will always be the funniest ever. John Ritter is just crazy.
ClassicMusicLo ver 09/30/2002
Why did they ever let Chrissy go?
radiogman 08/15/2002
This is not what I consider good TV, but I cant help but laugh at it. :-)
Redwolf 08/03/2002
Funny at times and well...Suzanne Somers!!!!
Quincy 06/27/2002
Not an improvement on the British show on which it is based, still this show had undeniable appeal which it maintained through numerous cast changes--and long after it made any logical sense for those "kids" to be sharing that little flat.
H[]T_Rodgers 06/12/2002
Three's Company was easily one of the best sitcoms of all time. However the reason I don't give it a 5 out of 5 is due to the fact that it began to fall downhill after the disappearence of Chrissy Snow. The shows began to get repetitive and the stuff that made us laugh the first couple of seasons just wasn't making us laugh anymore.
jeannie-n-tony 04/14/2002
This was a funny show. Krissy made the show. Suzanne's character was comically ditzy.
MastiffMan 04/06/2002
Definately a classic. All the characters are great but my two favorites were Janet and Jack. And what a theme song...one of the few that just think of and it would pop in my head. The only 3 other theme songs that resonate with me like that are the themes for Magnum PI, Miami Vice and The Love Boat. I didn't like the love boat song but it definately is one of tv histories legendary theme songs.
Snoopy 04/05/2002
This show was funny when I was a kid, but it really irritates me now. Every episode seems to be the same plot. It's such a silly, unwatchable show to me now.
LisaMyLove 04/02/2002
Sexist and gross! Same ol' story each episode. Gag!
Chaotician23 03/26/2002
Three's Company is one of my favorites, for a few reasons. It has an ultimate setting, Santa Monica, CA. It is the perfect sunny, beach city that makes the show so perfect. The characters are amazingly well acted, even Chrissy's stupidity. The physical comedy is another part, without it there wouldn't be a Three's Company. Make sure this show get's five stars.

I love this show. This and I Love Lucy are the two best shows. My favorite character on the show was Joyce DeWitt, known as Janet.

I loved this show. I started watching them on TBS and now I watch them on Nick@Nite. This show is so funny.
Errol 02/09/2002
John Ritter was a great actor as well as a great comedian. I liked Suzanne Sommers too. The writers of this show were also creative. Because of all that I give this show a few points. I just wish all that talent would have been used on something other than a show about a guy living with two girls. The situation demanded sexual situations and innuendoes that weren't necessary. They all could have done just as well without it. The biggest tragedy of the show is how Don Knotts, the greatest TV comedian of all time as far as I'm concerned, stooped to his lowest level as the cornball Mr. Furley.
D.J. Doucette 02/09/2002
Three's Company is the best show of all-time! I love John Ritter he is my favorite actor, and Joyce DeWitt is my favorite actress! I love Larry, Mr. Furley, Terri, and Cindy also! The show is so funny and great, it is my favorite show of all-time!
FOLrocks1 02/09/2002
I love this show! It is my favorite! YAY! I give it a 5!

Three's company is only the best show ever. And jack was so good looking. I wish I could have grown up in the 70's.
Tootie_Rox 01/01/2002
The was TERRIFFIC, but not the same without Chrissy =( !
ClassicTVFan47 12/15/2001
This comedy had a unique premise for its time and combined with good actors and great writing equalled a great show. When Don Knotts (as Mr. Furley) joined the show, it was at its best. The only thing the show needed was a tone-down of its language.
Texx 11/23/2001
Ritter and Feld were marvolous. Ritter was the Dick Van Dyke of my generation turning in some spectacular physical comedy. DeWitt and Somers did nothing to help the show except wiggle (which isn't a plus in Dewitt's case anyway). Feld made homophobia hysterical but Knotts couln't shake the Barney Fife image enough to fill his shoes. The bar they regularly hung out in was named after the ship Darwin sailed to the Gullapogos on but the characters showed no signs of evolving past their one deminsional beginnings. And once you start humming that damn theme song its stuck in your head all day. It was good for its time but doesn't hold up today.
LoneUSFullHous eFan 11/11/2001
Over all good show, but not as good as the honeymooners. And it was not quite the same when Chrissy left. But seriously, how many of us wish we had a landlord as dopey as Mr. Furley? You would never have to pay rent again.
