This show is so terrible!!!!!! Its soooooo STUPID! Its completey fake and the actors suck! There is always a family lesson to be learned at the end and even if the kids do make mistakes there is always an happy ending and everything always works out in their favor. There must be some really stupid and gullible to watch this show for so long and keep it on the air. I hate this show so much! It needs to be taken off the air!

Too preachy, and horrible acting. Well, maybe not horrible acting, but definitely horrible writing. The conversations are so phony and unrealistic, it makes the show unwatchable.

This "show" ought to be cancelled. It's so funny to watch the minister father always almost crapping his pants over little crises.

7th heaven is a great show and they should never take if off air. It relates to life and problems in everyday life. It's a great show and should never be taken of air! I love 7th heaven and the cast, they are cool! So for you people out there who have nothing to watch, watch 7th heaven on weekdays on abc family at 3:30pm and 7:00 pm. And on Monday at 8:00 on the WB and sometimes at 9:00 PM on the WB too! Love 7th Heaven!

This show is great. It has suspence, humor and is not as gorey as CSI Miami. However, I think that there should be more romance. And they use equipment that the real CSIs can only dream of. Overall, a great show, and it is one of my favorites. My it stay on the air for a long time!!!

Good show, teaches family values and I like the fact that there isn't any religious preaching even though it is a 'christian' based family show...though I like the characters Lucy seems too immature for being almost 21 and Ruthie's boyfriend seems like he's trying to be too mature...I don't know. It's an okay show all in all.
jus4fun 06/02/2003
Okay, I totally LOVE this show. It covers all the bases- love, faith, conflict/reconciliation, family, etc. My kids love it as much as we do. I realize it's not for everyone, but we sure enjoy it.
BorntoRock 05/29/2003
The walton's with a pseudo fundamentalist agenda. If God is so great, why doesn't he make this show more entertaining? Or at least bring back Jessica Biel, grrrr.
lotr417 05/28/2003
I've watched 7th Heaven from the very beginning. Watching David Gallagher grow up at the same age and time as my little brother has made it more personal. They're a great family, but not a perfect family, and that's the perfect balance. I love this show - I just wish Matt was around more.

GOOD CLEAN FUN TO WATCH FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

What a great family show!
Cat_Mom03 05/16/2003
It has it's good episodes and its bad ones. Fairly OK though.
soccerbabe27 05/03/2003
I think that this show has had a very good influence on young people in general. I have younger friends who watch it all the time and I find it enjoyable to watch with them.

This is a good show because other people might be able to relate to the problems that the Camdens go through. 7th Heaven is one of my favorite shows.
drbanner 04/11/2003
At one time this was my favorite drama. It had pathos and humor, good writing, good characters, good acting, and family values. But, in recent years it has gone down hill. Now it's like - how many bad things can we get the kids to do. I guess the writer/producer was getting pressure (probably including from the actors themselves) to make the kids not so "goody goody". However it is still better than most dramas on today.
ilovebrian1984 04/11/2003
Hey all I love the show 7th heaven!!!! its a really great show!!! I have been watchin it ever since it was first on tv.
AngelicDarla 04/05/2003
Horrible plot, I recently saw an episode about smoking, that kid with the weird head was smoking and lucy's boyfriend was also smoking, what are the chances of both happening on the exact same day. The show is incredibly stupid, you can't relate because they're the perfect family which is impossible in real life, the kids always realize they are wrong and apologize and all thier problems are always resolved by the end of the show.
gloriaehrlich 03/14/2003
This show leaves the viewer with a sense of decency, under what the new guidelines are for family television. I think at times the secenes are picky, especially where Ruthie is concerned, some of her tattel-tailing is pretty irrating. But, her dilemma is, parents always stress the importance of telling the truth, no matter what even if you just saw your brother fulsh down your sister pet gold fish. It can be a little stretchy at times, but it's still a good example of t.v. show that all members of the family can get absorbed into.
BIGBABY 03/07/2003
Cheesy. The show is so fake, I don't even know where to begin. What family today has 7 kids, two of which are twins? In every episode, everyone always has some kind of problem! Mary gets caught doing that, Ruthy picking on Simon, it was always the same. It started off excellent but really got into a completely blown-out-of-proportion misery.
crimson_and_cl over 02/09/2003
This is a terrible show. I cant watch it with out wanting to barf. The first couple of seasons were alright but its pure crap now. And they need to find some better twins because the ones they have now are horrible.
ClassicTVFan47 01/31/2003
Can you believe it? A mostly-hearty family show--a drama no less--in this day of age! Star Trek - The Motion Picture star plays the father (he played Will Decker in ST: TMP) and the show reminds one of nuclear family sitcoms (the best kind of TV families!) like Leave it to Beaver and Father Knows Best. Only some too realistic moments spoil the mood...
buttrfly88 01/20/2003
I think this is a great show! Finally there is a wholesome family show on the air. It has been a long time since there was a show like this on TV. There are a lot of great story lines and a lot of realistic issues they deal with etc. I look forward to it each week. I even love watching the reruns of the show.
WilShakes1 01/14/2003
Earnest, occasionally ambitious, finally ... less than first-rate. Have tried several times to cultivate a taste for it, without success.
sundance70 01/04/2003
This was once a truly great show but with this season I feel like it's lost it's direction. With the departure of some regular cast members and the addition of new cast members that don't really make much sense along with plotlines (Elvis?) that don't make much sense, my interest in the show has diminished. My advice: enjoy the reruns of this wholesome family drama and call it a day.
BEBEBLOO 12/28/2002
i don't know why-but this show isn't so bad..lol
tatanya28 12/15/2002
I have been watching this show this year because one of my roommates is addicted to it. First of all, I will say that there have been one or two episodes that I liked, but it was only when bad things happen. That is about the only interesting time in the show, is it something bad happens (and no, I don't mean missing church and worrying about what god would think). The family makes me gag - they're so open and rule-following. I hate it when shows have a kid get caught doing something "bad" and they automatically have all these problems because of it. They should make a show about my friends and I. That would be an entertaining show.
Fun4MaryJo 12/11/2002
Simply the strongest televised positive model for parenting. We NEED this and more similar programs in the USA. Like it or not, millions of people are influenced by television programs. This one is grand.
theskylitup 12/03/2002
This show is usually entertaining but goes over the top with silly humor at times...and the forced cuteness of the twins and the dog gets really annoying. Stephen Collins is great as the dad...what he goes through with the family seems so real. I also like the mom very much. Mary and Robbie are the best young characters, in my opinion...not seeing too much of them anymore. The actor who plays Lucy's policeman boyfriend is beyond bad. It is also nice to see a "religious" show like this succeed. Sometimes it is too much but it's good to see there's room for such a show.
faciabella1 12/01/2002
The show is great, although I could do without the frequency of Eric's singing. Where's Mary? I liked her attitude.
NewsRadio_Fan 11/25/2002
I used to like it, but now it has become very unwatchable. Is it even still on?
Druscilla 11/19/2002
I hate this season of 7th Heaven...and it's all because of Kevin. How much more pompous and arrogant can one man get? Newsflash buddy, your future wife has every right to ask you about your sexual history, because she's going to have sex with you,and it might be nice for her to know if you have any diseases or anything. Another thing, I don't like the way Kevin treats Lucy in general. He treats her like an inferior, someonewho isn't hhis equal, and that's not right. Shame on Kevin. Shame
crazy4rex 11/14/2002
very pure, entertaining.
angel_eyes06 11/10/2002
7th Heaven is the worst hour of tv out there. I'd rather stare at dry wall for an hour. The story lines are always the same, it is hardly realistic, and the father has way to many connections. I mean jeez, no one has that many connections.
tennischickGGE A 11/06/2002
Ok, I used to love this show. It was heartfelt and really an overall good show, but now they have just turned it into something really bad. It's storylines are all very juvenile and trying to be funny although it's really not. They are getting way too dramatic for their own good and what's up with all these guys that Mary and Lucy date??
marsobig 07/16/2002
Good for jackin'. Nothing else
gOoSe 06/28/2002
I have enjoyed every episode... Its something nice to watch with friends and/or family.
Rusty 06/18/2002
This is one of the few TV shows that doesn't bash the father figure and make him look like a Homer Simpson. What is so refreshing about this show are the values and the emphasis upon the family. The episode where Matt was getting married demonstrated that ministers are human, just look to God and He will work the problems out for us. We are in His hands, and we are subject to His plans. That's what's so wonderful and special about this show.
Molfan 06/14/2002
I used to give this show a 4. I am now lowering to a 3.5. I think this show has lost some of its charm. I used to consider this a family show. Now it is clearly aimed at the younger crowd. I now find this show somewhat annoying. It seems like every show the theme is about the Camden kids and their obssesions about finding a boyfriend/girlfriend. the last episode that took place at Valentines day was just dumb. Lucy and Mary only came off as pathetic with their following their old boyfriends around. Matt was no better with showing up on the doorstep of one of his old flames wanting to see her. This show is just not as good as it was.I think the Camden kids need to get more of a life than obsessing over who their next boyfriend/girlfriend should be. Try and find a different subject 7th Heaven.
cizbyfour 06/13/2002
It reads just like a soap-opera anymore. So much drama I wish they would show how the family would go out and do something worth while, charity, donate something of value...time, energy etc. Do something that seems like it should relate to the present time. I wish the oldest son would wash his hair! Grease head has been dead for a long time "long live the dry look..."
LoneUSFullHous eFan 04/09/2002
A nice clean family show. Amazing that it lasted this long. I used to watch it, but I would have to catch it from the beginning again to get into it.
norelle 04/04/2002
it was okay, but when all this drama started going on when the girl was having sex, or doing drugs. it got boring.

Proof that being a preacher's kid is no excuse to be a goody two shoes.

It to me is a great show! All tv shows aren't like real life I mean how can teenagers get into so much truble and be forgiven all the time but when you have parents like they do maybe you can be forgiven but to me the shows get better the older they get!I enjoy watching this show and I always will its actually a show I think kids can watch!
Beth1913 02/14/2002
I love this show! i even watch re-runs! but i just have one problem! i think that the parents are to touchy feely!! i know that all married couples should still have the love but my cousin watches with me and she is 7 and says yucky every time! Other than that complaint i think that this is such a great family movie!!!!!
Mystique 02/02/2002
I agree with the writer who wondered if there are new writers this season. Up to this point it was a cute, humerous, family show. Prior to this season, the only character I didn't like (actually detested) was Mary, but that was more because of the actress JB pouting about having to do the role - please, step down and let another talented actress take your place! Now, this season, Annie seems to have gone ballistic, to the point I just want to shake her and ask her what she's thinking. OK, so she's menopausal. So are thousands of other women, but she's just nuts! And she's taking the super feminist a bit too far, doing the very things she berrates her husband for. If this show continues, which I hope it does, please bring back the family show it once was.
Kendra_Cmm 01/29/2002
7th Heaven is agood wholesome family show. It's one of the few shows around today that doesn't portray sex and violence. The situations are realistic and poeple can relate to them. This show presents moral values and life lessons.

Anti-gun communist propaganda The episode of "7th Heaven" show in syndication on July 31, 2001 was a blatant propaganda piece for the anti-gun/freedom movement, a piece filled with lies, distortions, and misrepresentations on a scale so huge I would not have thought any network were capable of broadcasting them. One of the big lies spewed in this program ostensibly by a policeman is the lie that a gun is 43 times more likely to kill a family member rather than a criminal. The facts are as follows: To suggest that science has proven that defending oneself or one's family with a gun is dangerous, gun prohibitionists repeat Dr. Kellermann's long discredited claim: "a gun owner is 43 times more likely to kill a family member than an intruder." This fallacy, fabricated using tax dollars, is one of the most misused slogans of the anti-self-defense lobby. The honest measure of the protective benefits of guns are the lives saved, the injuries prevented, the medical costs saved, and the property protected not Kellermann's burglar or rapist body count. Only 0.1% (1 in a thousand) of the defensive uses of guns results in the death of the predator. Any study, such as Kellermann' "43 times" fallacy, that only counts bodies will expectedly underestimate the benefits of gun a thousand fold. Think for a minute. Would anyone suggest that the only measure of the benefit of law enforcement is the number of people killed by police? Of course not. The honest measure of the benefits of guns is the lives saved, the injuries prevented, the medical costs saved by deaths and injuries averted, and the property protected. 65 lives protected by guns for every life lost to a gun. Kellermann recently downgraded his estimate to "2.7 times," but he persisted in discredited methodology. He used a method that cannot distinguish between "cause" and "effect." His method would be like finding more diet drinks in the refrigerators of fat people and then concluding that diet drinks "cause" obesity. Also, he studied groups with high rates of violent criminality, alcoholism, drug addiction, abject poverty, and domestic abuse. From such a poor and violent study group he attempted to generalize his findings to normal homes. Interestingly, when Dr. Kellermann was interviewed he stated that, if his wife were attacked, he would want her to have a gun for protection. Apparently, Dr. Kellermann doesn't even believe his own studies. In this idiotic program the gun owner was made to seem the villain. Joseph Goebbels would have been proud of Aaron Spelling for this ludicrous tapestry of lies and distortions. I urge all the kids whose mind was poisoned by this garbage broadcast to visit the NRA's website to get the true facts about gun control, then stop watching this program. It's nothing but anti-Constitution propaganda. Tell everybody that Aaron Spelling is a communist!!!!
