I love that NONE of them have had career improvements due to this lame show. I found it enjoying on the internet... and when I was bored playing with my pets at home - it was less boring than stairing at my fish tank... but not by much.

I thought the show Big Brother that was shown here in the United States was very clean and a good reality show. I hope to see more from them in the future.

Boring tripe. Quit watching and maybe it will go away.

Ok, here is a show that deserves credit. It is SOOOOO much better than MTV's Real World. At least all the contestants wern't running around naked and sleeping with eachother. Well, they just shared a bed here. I liked the fact that they had chickens in the backyard and how they had Pugita, that was very cute. I am looking forward for another!

This show really sucks...the hosts suck and the players suck. and quite franctly WHO CARES!?
quotison 02/21/2001
Big Brother sucks! It is a boring show and it is too often (5 days a week) to keep up with it. Unlike Survivor and The Mole, it takes place in such a boring place... a house! The most exciting thing that happens is that they get a dog. I am disgusted to hear they are bringing it back for another season.. I for one will not be watching it.
LouLou 02/09/2001
Not enough happened on this show. I tuned in when someone got voted out, but that is it.
Teaseress 02/06/2001
My rating is for the UK edition, which seems to me to be the better one. We had Davina McCall who is a sassy, young and fun presenter and a great team in the house. The main story that hit the media was concerning one bloke called Nick who had been trying to fix the votes and got caught out - that was fantastic. Craig, who eventually won the money, donated to a girl who had to have a major operation done which the NHS refused to do, so she has to go over to the USA to have it done. It was immensely popular over here and we should be having a celebrity version done where the prizemoney is donated to charity.

It was so easy to get hooked on Big Brother, you could relate to people. I found it interesting to watch them interact. As the house got smaller, you chose someone who you wanted to win. I'm glad Eddie won- he deserved it.
jblaze 12/12/2000
The characters were punks. I didn't like the setting. They made stupid decisions about taking the money at the end (not prize money). So like I said, more dumb decisions. I didn't like their attitudes and they're scandalous people. A lot of the people don't really respect each other.
baggott 11/22/2000
This very enthralling, interesting look at the human psyche was very fun to watch. My entire family enjoyed this show! It was fun to make predictions on what people would do and to pick your favorite. It was a little cruel to the cast members, but they were all compensated. I very much enjoyed this show and never missed it.

This show was boring and stupid.

I loved Big Brother, and obviously alot of other people (who haven't been to this site) loved it too. Josh (one of the houseguests) is #1 on the Peoples Magazine site for Sexiest Man Alive. That must tell you something!! This show was addicting to all the people I talked to that watched. You had to give it a chance and get to know the houseguests before you just tuned out. Big Brother is the best show I've ever watched!

I am smitten by the whole "Big Brother" show. I loved it and I miss it already. There are certian aspects of the show you cant get any where else. Realness being the major one. Drive being portrayed by real people, not actors. The whole show totally impressed me. Right down to the casting. Each member of the house wanted to be there for different reasons, so admirable, some not so. I think Jamie just wanted to be on TV. I think Eddie really wanted to help his family. This group of people would have never been in the same setting except for this. I think the chesitry was pretty darn good.

I luv the show Big Brother!!!!! My dream is to be a contestant I give it five stars with out hesitation!! Shouts out to the best house guest Brittany!!!! And let every one keep in mind that it is not Georges fault that she got the boot!!! Oh ya i herd a rumour that one of the house guests kicked the dog. It couldent have been Eddie!!!!!!
shoeface 09/28/2000
I love Big Brother. It is so interesting to see how different people interact with each other. I really look forward to the challenges and natural interation that occurs everyday. I also loved the interesting people that were on big brother, they really make me look forward to wathing!
Sweet_angel14 09/27/2000
Okay so the show is a little cheesy and WAY!!!!! boring. Who wants to watch total idiots make fools of themselves on national television!!!!! The one and only reason I would EVER watch the show was to see Josh who is NOT a loser or to see who got banished BOO HOO!!!!! The show sucks. So does reality TV!!!!! GET OVER IT!!!!!

After the last round of nominations it struck me that the Houseguests have formed strange alliances without ever using the term or consulting with each other. Much was made of Rich, Sue and Rudy (poor Kelly) and their conscious decision to make an alliance to win. And here, it seems, two alliances are made in the name of "closeness" to the person -- Jamie with Curtis, and strangely, Curtis with Jamie; and Eddie with Josh, and vice versa. Curtis needs to wake up and smell the roses! I wonder if anyone else sees the "alliances." I also think the Big Brother show has helped to polish up the image of the "younger generation." Who would have ever thought you would find three young men in their twenties who wanted to be honest in their relationship with the group and stand up to "Big Brother" as they have done. These boys are wonderful people and I only hope they continue to be "good" people as they grow older. One other thought, I really miss George and hope that some college(s) like the one in Vermont will come through for him and his other daughters. What a good man Teresa has!

AFTER CRUISING THE "POLL" I JUST FELT I HAD TO ADD MY SUPPORT FOR EDDY! BUDDY HANG IN THERE!MOST OF THE HOUSEGUESTS ARE SO PHONY, BUT EDDY'S REAL AND LETS EVERYONE KNOW IT! THE SHOW AT FIRST SEEMED A BIT SURREAL, BUT NOW I VIEW IT AS A REFLECTION OF OUR SOCIETY AS A WHOLE, AND I HOPE SOME OF THE YOUNGER VIEWERS CLUE INTO THE REWARD OF INTEGRITY ITSELF....

A few weeks ago, I tried to enter my opinion about the dirty dispecable tacktics of George's family, but It didn't make it to the board. When Brit was banished, I was outraged at George's family. They fudged the results, effectfuly spoiling the show. I wonder if the rest of the big brother fans were as outraged as I was? When George was banished, I was both greatly sadened and joyest. I'm sad for George because I think he is one hell of a nice guy and is the most deserving of the grand prize. As for his family, I can't help not to mock them and the dispicable thing that they've done. I mock them because I believe that there plan totaly backfired. I believe the reason George was banished because of there actions. Nice going. You've inavertanly screwed a very nice man out of $500,000. If you're here George, e.mail me with your coment. Same goes to the family members. I'd love to here from the rest of the Big Brother cast! Espeicialy Brit! Sorry for spelling. I'm terrable, I know. leonardostrange@hotmail.com

I am a big "Survivor" fan and wasn't too excited about "Big Brother." I watched the first episode and was put off by the goofy hosts. However, I have found myself tuning in once in a while, especially on a "banishment" night. I can't see anyone watching it every single night it airs..it can be rather boring, and they update each night, so there is really no need. George really started to annoy me, what is up with his goofy get-ups? He is also too smiley and says "you guys" annoyingly often. Basically, I think the show is awful, but I have to give it an OK rating, because for some reason I am drawn to it every so often. I can't explain it.

Now that "The Chicken Man" has finished his time in the Big Brother house, who could be a better spokesperson for Tyson to pick up? America loves him, and who better to advertise chicken than "The Chicken Man". Hire George Boswell Tyson - he's America's favorite chicken lover!! If you agree send an e-mail saying so to: nicholsone@tyson.com poseyk@tyson.com

Although the show is really shallow , I keep watching and enjoying it! I guess I really like to analyze the emotional reactions of each house guest to various situations. I have to say I really want Josh to win. He appears to be the most sincerely likeable person in the house. Although, Curtis is a close second. Please Please Please send George home - I am so tired of his immature phoney shows for the camera. He comes across as so desperate to fit in and be liked by everybody. George - grow up!

I feel this is a great show. I have not missed one night it has been on. My only complaint is that I feel it should be on for an hour like Survivor.

I can't believe that I got hooked into watching this show, but it was because it was after Survivor that I watched. The only thing I can say, is are these REAL HUMANS? No one wanted the $50,000. I couldn't believe that, sure they want the big prize but $50,000 is nothing to laugh at either. I think they do need someone to stir it up a bit, and for that its been a bit stale. Only reason I watch, is to see the reaction of being marked and then see the banishment itself. I belief for myself that Eddie should win. Reason: He has been pretty much honest from the get go, everyone knows his reasons of being there, he doesn't try to be adorable and cute and LIE. He is who he is, honest. People today don't like honesty they want to be lied to or to fall for some story of being in a friendship deal. The show is not for the Experience, its about someone who stays the longest and wins. The idea of being there for the experience is a bunch a BS, they in their hearts want to win. Even the Beauty Queen, says she knows George should get the money, but when asked if she won, would she give money to George; boy did she just stumble over herself...2 Faced B*tch. Eddie may be a bit abrasive but he's being upfront true to himself. MORE POWER to you EDDIE!!!

Big Brother is the most interesting television program on air right now. I feel like I know most of the people on the show and you don't get that with sitcoms or dramas because these people aren't acting (at least we don't think they are) therefore I give it a five.

I love the show but I personaly don't like Jamie. She annoys me and I think that she should be banished. I think that Brittany should still be on the show, she was awsome. I don't think that what George's town did was right. But who am I to judge. Other than those few things I love the show. Its a real world for adults, it keeps me smiling and laughing. Thanks CBS for making an adult real world.

Has anyone read the book "NINETEEN EIGHTY-FOUR" by George Orwell? Do you understand what "Big Brother" is? I wonder if any of the House Guests have read it. I have found the whole Big Brother game very interesting. All of us, House Guest and viewers, are being controlled by Big Brother. That is the concept. Big Brother is feeding us (House Guests and viewers) piece-meal, gradually showing us parts of each House Guest's personality; to control our attitudes and manipulate how we interact and make decisions (vote). By making the House Guests play games and take part in activities to "enlighten" them about each other and with the edited Red Room interviews to give a certain slant to the viewer's perception of each person. Big Brother keeps slowly adding to and/or changing our field of reality about each House Guest. The loss of Brittany appears to have triggered a more radical change in the house dynamics that the loss of previous House Guests. The House Guests didn't seem to care that they lost 50 percent of thier food budget for not finishing the puzzle. They are dazed, distrustful, and disheartened. We viewers are left feeling like Brittany has been cheated, that we should defend her. But Big Brother is not giving the viewers the information (the voting percentages) so that we can verify our judgment and act accordingly. We have only Big Brother's manipulated facts. Sadly, I think that George and his family are the biggest victims so far. It looks like they are counting on winning this money in order to deal with some serious financial problems. Desperation can make people behave out of character, it is never a pretty sight. I will keep watching, although I think this last month will not be easy to watch. It has become morbidly fascinating.

I watch the show on CBS and on the internet. The television show is edited to show you what they want you to see and hear. Watching the net gives much more indepth about each person in the house and gives you more background on the goings on n the house. Big Brother is purposely trying to intimidate, stir conflict and turn people on each other in the house. They wanted more drama and confrontation in the house, but it backfired on them. The housemates continually become closer and band together against Big Brother's tactics. They are a great group and I wouldn't mind being friends with them. I think the housemates are being true with themselves and with each other. I love the show.

i think it's an invasion and gives true meaning to the comments of Big Brother is watching you...I think it's a show that's boring...not to mention non entertaining...the show is unlike survivor where there are real challenges...even that show has it's problems...I've watched the show because our own George is on there from Rockford...I don't watch it everyday...because the constant recants of the last night show are always on ......IT"S A VERY boring waste of time in my book

Boring, uninteresting drivel. Anyone watching this needs to get a life or better yet a library card. There must be someting better to do with one's time!! Ranks right up there with that Springer guy!!

I like what people feel about the group in the house. We all have our aliance in this world.I don't feel sorry for britany leaving the house. However I thought she might be one of the last people to leave.

The media is slanting what they show to gain emotional support or to create negative emotions towards certain cast members. Each week the one voted off has been the one that has been seen the most- i.e. controversy...I feel things are often slanted unfairly towards certain cast members. Based on this Jamie will be the next to go. Also the show is proving people will do anything for me, and people love to hear gossip!
chri10308om 08/31/2000
Shows aren't bad - but the live show every week ruins it. That show is just poorly put together. Watching them all sit around the house, listening to Julie Chen interview, interview, interview about nothing is dreadful. Especially when compared to Survivor, which was just as ridiculous but at least interesting.

Guilty pleasure - I'm SOOOO hooked, can't believe I'm admitting this.

I think George is a real back stabber! What does he think he is doing? He is not who he tries to put-on to the other guests. I can hardly wait to see how the other house guest feel about him when they find he has made all those trips to the red room.
fmp@10214et 08/26/2000
Totally boring One house guest that was banned was the only person to make the show interesting she is gone and the show goes down hill
kris10154om 08/25/2000
i think that big brother overall is a good show. it is interesting to see how different people react to certain arrangments and conditions and to other peoples comments and actions. the only thing i don't like is that they got rid of mega and jordan right away, so now they're all friends and it's way more interesting when there is fighting and stuff going on behind people's backs. i think that's why most people like survivor more.

I am addicted to Big Brother. I'm ashamed to admit it but it's true. I started watching the show 3 weeks ago and I just love it. I usually check in throughout the day on the web to see what's going on as well. I like all the houseguests at this point and I hate to see any of them go. I do have to say that I think Big Brother (him or herself) is really being unethical and, at times, cruel to the HG's. I think the curfew is stupid. I think eddie's massage was a horrible thing to do. I think the producers are doing things which could really backfire on them. On a final note, I have to say I hope Britt wins. She's my favorite.
soph10068om 08/23/2000
This show is sooo... boring and I wish George would act like a frickin' man and stop with the boo-hooing all the time. I don't know how he has made it this far without being whacked upside the head with something (hey maybe that homely little dog). I really think their behavior is not genuine because of the fact that those cameras are everywhere. I think it is about as entertaining as putting hidden cameras in an old folks home...wait a minute, theres an idea for "reality t.v."
baby10013om 08/22/2000
This show is really entertaining! I watch it every day! I feel like a really know the house guests personally and I have opinions about all of them. My favourite house guests are Jamie, Brittney & Eddie. I think that Jamie and Eddie should hook up. They look really good together!! Forget about Monica!!! Brittney is the kind of person that I would like as a big sister. I really like her. Jamie is someone that I would like to go on shopping sprees with and just hang out with. There is something about Eddie that I like, but I don't really know what it is. He seems kind of boring but I like him for some resaon. Cassandra is a really nice person, but she is getting on my nerves! I think she should be the next to go. Curtis is a really sweet guy and I think that Brittney and Curtis should hook up. I think that they would make a good couple. Also, Josh is very good-looking. He looks like someone who should be in a magazine!!!
