This CD is good because it has many tracks on it, most of which are good.

Dr. Dre took some years to produce this CD and he did so with a vengeance. He rapped about all the haters and people who backstabbed him, yet he still survived and thrived.
shishi 10/16/2000
This CD is fully entertaining! You can listen to it all the way through. Dr. Dre is a great producer and a great rap artist.
seisenman 10/10/2000
This album is good, but you get kind of tired of it. The beats are the best part. The lyrics fall short and you begin to get tired of all the cussing.

One of the best West Coast hip hop CDs of all time. One of the best hip hop CDs of the year.
superlamer 10/05/2000
Very good album, but only for mature listeners. The problem is the very explicit language, but a great CD nonetheless.
mkennedy 10/05/2000
This CD is tight. Dr. Dre keeps it real. Nice rhythms and beats. He has a lot of different artists on his CD that are good.
ankur1616 10/05/2000
Awesome!! Can't begin to tell you how many hits are on here! Play it over and over!
synnsta 10/04/2000
I gave this CD such a high rating because he used alot of good rappers. The beats were also bangin'. Dr. Dre raps good but everyone helping him out made the CD a winner.
rkamath 10/04/2000
Once again, Dr. Dre returns after a 7 year hiatus to bring a musically captivating album featuring many notable (and not so notable) MC's. While the music is terrific, the subject matter is your stereotypical gangster fodder, complete with obligatory references to drugs, "bitches," and "lo-lo's." Aside from this dubious lyrical content, the Chronic 2001 is excellent.
dbrosen 10/03/2000
This album is good because not only does it flow well from song to song, but it also has appearances by other famous rappers such as Snoop and Nate Dogg, Eminem, XYZbit and others. Plus Dre can flow.
mpater 10/03/2000
It was ok. I only liked 1 or 2 songs on it. Dre is still cool, but he can't rap.

Dr. Dre on this album brought fans back to the West. There are dope beats to kick back and listen to. Rap superstars like Snoop Dogg and XZIBIT are also featured on several tracks.

This CD was a re-birth of the West Coast flavor, which as been missing for a couple of years. No matter how much you listen to this CD it is still good listening.

The return of Dr. Dre. He is the best producer in the music business. This CD became a classic after the second month. Great tracks like "Explosive" and "Watcher". This is a CD you have at home, in the car, and at school. Dre's CD keeps everything bumpin'.
miza10290om 08/31/2000
People doubted Dr. Dre but his 2001 CD proves them all wrong. The beats on this CD are all hella crazy-maybe the best ever in an album. Ummm....the songs on here aren't spectacular but what I really like about it is there are a lot of songs/almost all of them that feature some other artists, for example, Eminem, Snoop Dogs, etc.
ride10302om 08/30/2000
This album represents West Coast hip hop to the fullest. Dre features the best MC's in the world on one album. The production is great, the lyrics are great, and everything sounds bangin'. From partying to riding, it's an awesome album.
rhoh10001om 08/21/2000
This is not as good as his 1st album, but that's expected. It has original sounds and style that keeps Dre real and keeps it his own. Dre still knows how to produce.
frie9934om 08/19/2000
This CD is hella tight. I'm a music lover and every song is tight on this CD. It took me a while to get it, but I'm glad I did. The words are kinda dirty, but it's worth it. The beats are tight, too.
zrad8673om 07/16/2000
This album is good because it is a showcase of how Dr. Dre has evolved as a person and as an artist. It is an excellent album.
qkru8670om 07/16/2000
This album is a classic. Probably the best that came out in 1999. It is a must have.

This CD is off the hook, but the radio plays it out too much. XXplosive is the sh*t.
kevi8323om 07/08/2000
dre;s album is great. Much better than most of the rap albums out there in the market now.Puff Daddy had better start making better stuff now.

I first heard this CD and could not stop talking about it. So, when Christmas rolled around, I was given this CD as a gift. I think that it is a great CD. He has various and numerous amounts of song artists. Dr. Dre was not discriminatory and put a lot of work. He definitely showed his strength and ability with the release and success of this CD!!!!! Buy it!!!!

Dre has some good lyrics and beats. Lots of tracks with other artists.

This whole album is filled with great hits. Features great artists throughout the album. Dre's best work yet!
Ques6899om 05/23/2000
If you liked Dre's first CHRONIC album, Chronic 2001 is a must! Dre came back with dope, mellow beats one can just 'chill to'. With the addition of Eminem, Snoop, Corrupt, Nate Dogg and Hitman, this album was #1 throughout the country. Hits from this album, 'xplosive,' 'Dre,' and more are played on the radio constantly.
Meth6797om 05/19/2000
Nice CD. I like the variety and the combination of rappers. Eminem is tight, and Snoop is cool and the DPG. Dre is tight.
SpiN6795om 05/19/2000
This Cd kept me listening for almost an hour and a half. Its one of those CDs that keeps you listening thorugh the whole thing-you don't want to skip through . Great beat and the raps are tight.
wuaz6757om 05/17/2000
This CD is good. I think there is at least 5-6 tracks on the CD that I constantly listen to. It mixes tight beats, with tight raps, sa well as catchy choruses. Dre is coming back.
