Awesome album

This band is a waste of time. Period.

rammmstein are awesome. possibly the greatest thing in metal to come out of europe. because they don't make other peoples' music, they make what they want to hear. and it just so happens alot of other people want to hear the same thing. and for those of us lucky enough to have been able to find accurate translations of their lyrics it takes things to a whole new level. like the song Ich Will(I Want)that song rocks!!! and on their other albums: bestrafe mich(punish me), Asche Zu Asche(ashes to ashes), and of course buck dich(bend down).

Rammstein are excellent and prove that German works better with industrial metal than English. Live they are the best act in the world right now. As for 'Mutter' I agree that this is probably their best album so far, but only by a little.

this album is exellent, although i do'nt understand the german, the music is clever, in my opinion this is their best album(for me),i would recommend this album to people who like the likes of my dying bride and even electric wizard, graet stuff.

impossible 2 understand but good muzik

I just recently purchased the c.d. and I adore it! Rammstein is a German band. Their lead singer's voice is so enchanting. Their music is captivating. It puts you into a spell and you just have to keep playing it. In german, They'd say: Gefährlich ist wer Schmerzen kennt vom Feuer das den Geist verbrennt Bäng bäng Gefährlich das gebrannte Kind mit Feuer das vom Leben trennt Ein heißer Schrei Bäng bäng Feuer frei! Dein Glück ist nicht mein Glück ist mein Unglück Bäng bäng Feuer frei!

As always, I'm impressed with what Rammstein has to offer. This is a great album, and I like how they seem to be heading more towards storytelling in terms of their lyrics. Love the new classics, 'Sonne' and 'Mein Herz Brennt'. I can't wait until their next release.

Possibly the best CD ever. Rammstein is awesome. You don't have to understand German to be moved by this music. This is true for "Sonne" and "Mein Herz Brennt". Which, in my opinion, are the two best songs on the entire CD.

I agree with Talena's assesment of Mutter and Rammstein entirely. One point I wish to add is that Rammstein is a breath of fresh air in terms of American interests. With the disposable popstars that MTV and the radio produces, in an environment full of one hit wonders and a general stagnant state of affairs in music an import like Rammstein is a blessing. All too often in American bands and musicians sound too much alike. Ever since the days of Pearl Jam it seems everyone wants to mimic Vedder's voice. Metal may be in America but it is alive and well in Germany. And Rammstein is at the top of the mountain in my opinion. Mutter represents their best release so far. It was my first taste of this excellent band and spurred me to seek out their previous releases and I've been very pleased. Talena's description of the band describes them far better than I could. But let me say that even if you do not speak German this band can appeal to you. To me that is the mark of a truly exceptional band- the ability to transcend language barriers on the merit of the music alone. Besides, you gotta love the German language...it's just so scary!

Out of all four Rammstein CD's, this has got to be my favorite. It is a masterpiece, a true masterpiece. From start to finish, each song is brilliant and powerful, definitely Rammstein's best to date. "Mutter" contains more melody and smoother guitar work, not to mention and better use of sampling and keyboarding. My favorite song off this album is "Sonne", which combines driving, pounding guitar riffs with dark vocals and then slips into an emotional, slow-but-powerful chorus with some beautiful samples of female vocals in the background and a marvelous melody from Till. "Ich Will" is so catchy that you can't get it out of your head for days. Beautiful "Mutter", the title track, is one of the two softer songs on the album, and it sets the theme of the album. "Feuer Frei!" is a fast-paced, throbbing song with brutal guitar riffs and a brutal chorus. "Spieluhr" is an almost mechanical sounding song that tells a rather interesting story with its lyrics. "Mein Herz Brennt" is the powerful opening track that is a fine example of Rammstein's imaginative lyrics, powerufl guitar work and intricate keyboarding...you gotta love that chorus in that song. Anyways, if you don't have this album, go out and buy it right away...it is 11 tracks of down-right amazing music and it is worth every penny of your money...you won't be disappointed.

The best band to ever come out of Germany. You don't need to learn German to be amazed and enjoy these outstanding Industrial rockers. More bands today should be like RAMMSTEIN (TALENTED AND ORIGINAL). A great album. If ya like this, you'll love Sehnsucht! This is a band to check out.
