I liked this movie because of the special effects and action scenes.

I thought that X-Men was a pretty good movie. I enjoyed the special effects and computer graphics. The one thing I didn't like was the movie is quite different from the comic.

As a fan of x-men for 15 years I know a lot of the original story lines and find that the movie is lacking. They changed alot of stuff, like Rouge coming to the professor as a teen. But being a new generation and a new spin on the show I still loved it. I thought Hugh did a good job as Wolverine, and I liked the desention between him and Cyclops. But they didn't show enough of the crap between him and Jean. I hope next time they show Beast and Gambit.

I just want to say, that this was one of the best movies I have ever seen!! I have been watching the x-men animated series for 6 years now and the movie was excellent!!! Everything was correct (according to the series) I hope there will be another one!!.....to be continued.....

I went in there not expecting much - how can real life compare to the fantastical world of comics. The movie was nice for an introduction to the world of xmen but I thought they could have had a worse villian than Magneto - like Apocolypse. Also Rogue is my fav character because of all her attitude, unfortunately in the movie she is just a little girl

I enjoyed the movie very much! It was very exciting. I loved Hugh Jackman's potrayal of Logan/Wolverine. Wolverine had never been my favorite X-men (Gambit has always been my X-Man, I was a bit disappointed to hear his character would not be portrayed in the movie). Don't get me wrong I like all the X-Men. But now thanks to Mr.Jackman, his portrayal has gave Wolverine such sex appeal, that if I were Jean Grey I could not just set him aside. Any way the movie was fantastic!See it if you haven't! (sorry Gambit)

Great special effects but too much history, not enough action. Good cast of characters and it was easy to follow the story line. Enjoyable for those of us who have not followed the comic book. Predictable sequel.

The action is excellent and for an X-Men lover, this movie will leave you hanging for part II.

This movie is another example of a classic comic book excellently transformed into a motion picture blockbuster. Featuring classic characters from the comic, it is another good example of a comic cleanly and solidly transformed into a great motion picture. Though there are some clear disimilarities(Wolverine is much taller than his comic book character, and Rogue is clearly younger than she is as portrayed in the comic) and many changes have been clearly seen in the movie, it is still consistently a great movie, showing smooth transition from comic book to movie sequence.

to take a comic and put it in onto the big screen a lot of creative licence must be taken otherwise you get a dodgy film. you can't make a believable, serious film with people running around in bright yellow spandex. the costumes were well done, the actors well picked. you've heard all the good stuff already so... 'nuff said.

Except for the costumes, I could not have been more pleasantly suprised at the true x-men feel to this movie.An unknown actor like Hugh Jackman did Wolverine about as good as you can do. I loved the little previews of characters like Iceman and Jubilee. This movie has me begging for a sequel that will include new costumes, new characters, and the development of the current ones.Check it out, bub!!!!!

This is by far the best comic book movie ever released. It wasn't particularly cheesy and the plot was halfway decent. They only screwed up the timeline a little.

X-Men was a great movie but it lacked some special effects. Storm could have been portrayed a little better as a weather god. The Professor was a great character.

The movie X-Men was great because the story was unusual and the cast played their characters well. The unusual powers that each character had made the movie more interesting than normal. Good looking characters help too.

This movie totally rocked. It incorporated a diverse group of comic book characters and really used their different abilities to the extreme. In the end, it left room for a lot of other characters to be introduced which is really cool.

This movie was good for kids as well as adults. It had good special effects. It made you feel like and understand what was going on with the mutants and humans in the world in the years where things started to change.

It was OK because there were not many X-Men characters that came out, but then the special effects were good. So one made up for the other. It would have been better if there were more and longer fighting scenes. Also, the storyline wasn't that good.

X-Men was an excellent action film. It drew a large fan base from the comic book. It stayed fairly true to the plot of the comic book. The special effects were fantastic.

Finally they made an X-Men movie. It has great actors and a great story. I like how Rogue dyed her hair. This movie rocks.

personally the movie was good. but there was a few areas that were weak. being a big fan of the comic book and the cartoon i think they could of done a better job on doing some of the castng. i mean come on if u look at the cartoon and read the comic u'll see that storm is tough, she even beat scott with out her powers. the only thing shes afraid of is inclosed areas. and in the movie sabertooth. you do the thinking. then the part on how toad beat her like that. now if ur second in comand aren't u suppost to be strong and tough or is that my imagination. gee um aint she suppose to fly. i know why rogue didn't she hasn.t found out her fully power yet. i mean rogue hasn't taken ms. marvel's powers yet. WOLVERINE AND PROF.X was GREAT!magneto was good but please he needs to be in shape. so all in all the movie again was ok. WORK ON STORM HALLE!!! or geat some one else to play storm.but if u please PUT THEM BACK IN THEIR ORIGINAL COSTUMES.

You know, my friends say I judge movies way too harshly. However, I don't think so. X-Men was a disappointment. I must admit that I did something I don't usually do; I fell into the hype surrounding the movie. That was my first mistake. My second mistake was actually arriving at the theatre and actually sitting down in a seat to watch the movie. The casting was great, but the script was horrible. This is to kone7059om: if the film is not easy to make, then they shouldn't make the movie until they have worked harder on the movie and are sure they will have a quality product. You can't show loyalty by supporting them in whatever they do because everything they do is not always good. Anyway, with casting that superb, it is hard to understand how the movie turned out so horrible. The intro was pretty good, but as the movie progressed, it got more and more confusing. The transitions left me feeling puzzled and absolutely lost. Things happened in certain scenes that had no apparent reasoning behind them. I just sat there saying WHY to a lot of things that happened in the movie. It is true that the action scenes were pretty good, but they also had puzzling reasoning behind them. Halle Berry worked her part as Storm very well. She is THE finest woman on earth. The ending of this movie was the most puzzling part. It just ended; I was waiting for another action scene or some more talking or something, but it just ended leaving me pissed and puzzled. It's like they just threw some random scenes together and called it a movie. It wasn't that bad, but it was pretty bad. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it.

This was a lot better than I thought it would be. It wasn't as corny as I expected and was kind of realistic. It made me want to be a mutant. But, they should have had more characters.

I like the fact that they kept it congruent with the storyline in the magazines. But not all X-Men characters were explored.

I liked the graphics and the special effects. It was like the comic books when I used to read them.

This was an outstanding movie. Action picked up at the very end. I was thrilled throughout. Good actors. Good storyline. Good movie.

As a fan of the comic, I can say X-Men lived up to my expectations. True to the characters in every way, the movie had great action and emotional scenes. Not to be missed.

I thought the movie was really good. I was expecting to see other characters like Gambit. But, I think that the characters could've been played by different actors. Wolverine needed to be bigger, Rogue needed to be older looking, etc.

It's a little boys dream come true to see your heroes come to life.

This movie was awesome. I usually think comic book movies are okay but X-Men was just great. I didn't have to know everything about the comic to get the movie. The costumes were great and so was the movie.
