jane is a little boring

Jane is a great magazine. I absolutely adore it! They dont sugar coat everything, or only worry about how to please your man in and out of bed. They're bitter, sassy, fiesty, and intelligent. They have useful tips from readers, as well as experts. Even the little bits of useless info they throw in is still entertaining. I think it's the best magazine for women I've ever read, hell even my fiance loves it!

At first I was impressed with this magazine. But then I started getting tired of the rebellious girl attitude and snide writing and realized it's nothing but the same thoughtless seedy crap as in most of the other sleazy women's magazines.

When I was an early teen, I read Sassy magazine, Sassy has since evolved into JANE. This magazine is great!! Its funny, crass, outspoken, and really speaks to a modern day women. Three cheers for Jane Pratt(editor) who knows that an average woman does not care only about fashion, makeup, or how to reach orgasms. It is by far my favorite magazine and I can never read it enough.

Good women's magazine - not just full of fashion and beauty. Has some intelligence and lots of humor.

This is truly the Gen-x women's magazine. Stories feature women's issues in other parts of the world and in America. It also has the traditional fashion and advice columns. It encourages women to live their dreams without sacrificing their wroth or overall well being. I highly recommend this magazine. Its only fault is that it is 10 issues a year instead of 12.

Jane is great. They focus on real women and while the models are still waifish, they do spreads on what real women look like and do. Their advice is real and helpful and they don't pretend to know more than you. It's as close to having a friend as you can get eith a magazine.

The editor of Jane, Jane Pratt, used to be the editor of Sassy, the only good teen magazine until it joined forces with Teen and went Splat! I was a huge fan of Sassy, so I was stoked when Jane started Jane, targeted towards an older audience. There are, yes, fashion articles and yes, lots of sex articles, but there are also political and other important articles too. Buy a subscription.

The first time that I ever saw this magazine, my neighbor had gotten a free years subscription to it. I had never heard of it before, but I'm glad I got to read it! I now have a subscription to it and love it. It's comparable to Cosmo...in fact it's just a very mild Cosmo. This is pretty cheap also. If you ever have a chance, go look at it in a Drug or grocery store! Enjoy it!

Not enough diversity in the magazine, as far as lifestyles go. Not all of us are interested in "how to get a man", and "what men find attractive in a woman". I'd expect more from Jane.

most of the popular women's magazines are as disappointing as most of the fall spin-offs and recycled sitcoms. but jane was kinda cool cause they're not afraid to do articles on male escorts or large-model layouts. the only thing is, like most women's magazines, they use mostly stick models and tell you to like your body at the same time

"Jane" is a really trashy, worthless magazine. I started receiving it through the mail as compensation after another magazine subscription of mine was discontinued, and I was really annoyed by every aspect of it. The articles range from super sleazy ("How Hugh Grant Measures Up in Bed According to Elizabeth Hurley") to boring (Tom Arnold Update) to disgusting (Bijou Phillips' Dental Surgery). Throw in lots of profanity, and you get the picture. I don't know why anyone would read this magazine.
